Hi all,

So I'm actually strangely calm about the TWW at the moment, which is unusual for me!

We had a chemical pregnancy 2 months ago and since then I really try not to symptom spot as I try and protect myself from disappointment.. but I thought it might be nice to follow each others journeys during the TWW and keep each other motivated and positive!

So here's my story:

-TTC for 7 months, first baby!👼

  • had a chemical pregnancy 2 months ago💔

Currently 6 DPO:

  • cramping in lower stomach; AF type pains
  • constipated like MAD 😬😳
  • boobs are very tender (especially areola's and nipples)
  • very veiny boobs!
  • I actually woke myself up from a deep sleep last night as I was dizzy?! How does that even happen 🙃🤣

Massive congratulations 🥳 🎉 @Lemongrass9 I’m super happy for you!! Here’s wishing you a happy, healthy, enjoyable pregnancy xxx

Noo3833 · 17/12/2020 21:22

Huge congratulations!!! Xxx

Noo3833 · 17/12/2020 21:24

I thought I had stopped spotting!! But I’m not on day 3 and still spotting :S I have no idea what this means. I don’t know if it could be implantation or something else? I never ever bleed in the middle section of my cycle? I’m now day 21 of my cycle? I usually have a really long cycle too between 30-33day?!?! So confused!

printedlace · 17/12/2020 21:29

@Noo3833 ohh I can understand why it seems strange! But I suppose if it's just spotting and no other signs of a heavy bleed (AF) you could still be in with a good shot! I wonder if it's implantation..? ❤️😬🥰

OP posts:
Noo3833 · 17/12/2020 21:32

I don’t know because either way it seems a little too late for ovulation bleeding which I’ve never had before and a little too early for implantation? 🤔😬

printedlace · 17/12/2020 21:34

@Noo3833 ahh okay. I see what you mean! Try and keep positive! If you don't usually have a random bleed half way through your cycle I'm sure this must be a good sign! Xx

I am 7DPO (if my app was correct on when I ovulated), and the last few days I’ve had like a dullness in my lower belly, and yesterday I had some kind of shooting pains on the lower right hand side. It happened twice but hasn’t happened again today, just the ache/dullness. This is our first month TTC and I can’t help but research all the symptoms and what other people have had 🙈 I know I shouldn’t but I can’t help it!

I read the thread through and congrats @Lemongrass9 on your positive result! Wonderful festive news 💕

Lemongrass9 · 18/12/2020 06:45

Thank you so much @WicketBasket @Noo3833 @Rice1992 feels incredibly surreal but super exciting. I really hope this thread gets lots of bfps!

The only things we did differently this month was be more relaxed (such an annoying cliché 🙄) and we also used conceive plus for first time, not sure if that is just coincidence though.

How are you feeling today @printedlace hope the sickness isn’t making you feel too rubbish?

@Noo3833 hopefully the bleed is a good sign, how many dpo are you again? I had horrendous cramps that kept me in pjs and a blanket all day at I think 7dpo which I’m guessing must have been implantation so it might not be too early for implantation bleeding for you.

printedlace · 18/12/2020 07:20

@Lemongrass9 still feeling horrendous! 10DPO today and another BFN on FRER 🥺 so frustrating! Xx

OP posts:
Noo3833 · 18/12/2020 07:35

I don’t know because my app was clearly so wrong. It said I was due to ovulate 3 days ago. I knew it could be slightly off so I started taking ovulation tests in the 5 days leading up to it and they were always negative... so I must have ovulated early. (Before day 14 of my cycle) x

Lemongrass9 · 18/12/2020 07:41

Sorry you are still feeling so rubbish @printedlace and to get a bfn must be even more frustrating with your symptoms.

You could have just missed your peak when testing as well @Noo3833 hopefully the spotting will stop soon. Such a confusing time isn’t it xx

printedlace · 18/12/2020 07:49

@Lemongrass9 that's okay, perhaps it just isn't my time this month! It's very frustrating though as at least if I got a BFP i would have a reason for feeling so crap 🤣🙈

BFN this morning is below. DP says he swears he can see the hint of something, but I can't..

🙈🤣 Who wants to symptom spot with me.. 🙈🤣

Test again in a few days hun. I did one this morning too and nothing. We’re going to test on Xmas eve to see x

printedlace · 18/12/2020 07:58

@Noo3833 ahh I will try and wait until AF now. I just feel SO unwell it's awful. Really sicky and nauseous. This is so unusual for me!
Fingers crossed you'll get your BFP on Christmas Eve! How amazing would that be ♥️😊

OP posts:
Noo3833 · 18/12/2020 08:01

When is AF due for you?

WicketBasket · 18/12/2020 08:10

@printedlace sorry to hear about your symptoms getting you down and the bfn doesn’t help! But I’m hopeful that the symptoms are more accurate than the test and your bfp is just brewing like a good cup of tea Grin and will surprise you very soon! Chin up lovely thinking of you Flowers xxx

Also has anyone ever got a BFP whilst having pre af cramps? I’m having cramps like usual but they seem to be milder than normal (or maybe that’s wishful thinking Grin) and I’m wondering whether I can take any hope from this? I know, I know, I really should just leave it alone and wait and see 😂😂💕xxx

printedlace · 18/12/2020 08:14

@Noo3833 AF is due 22nd Dec - so 4 days time, but usually it will come to bite me on the bum a bit earlier than that 😬🤣 xx

Noo3833 · 18/12/2020 08:15

Fingers crossed for you that she does one and doesn’t show 🤞🏻❤️

printedlace · 18/12/2020 08:16

@WicketBasket thank you lovely! It's just frustrating more than anything that I'm feeling so unwell.. I honestly HATE being sick it's one of my biggest phobias (what the hell will I be like with morning sickness) 😬🤣 so the fact I'm sat here wishing I could just be dick and get the feeling over and done with is SO unusual for me.. previous months, I've never felt this nauseous before. Who knows! Like you say, it would be lovely if the positive is just brewing! ❤️🥰

I've had the same this month (AF type cramps) and they were much lighter than usual cramps too! I wonder if they could be implantation! Xx

OP posts:
printedlace · 18/12/2020 08:17

@Noo3833 ohh that would be so lovely! Usually she comes with a vengeance 🤣🤣 so if she wouldn't mind doing one and leaving me alone that would be fantastic! 🙈🤣 xx

Rice1992 · 18/12/2020 08:21

@printedlace keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏻 The wait is an absolute killer isn’t it, as I feel it’s taking the excitement away from Christmas. Really hoping we all get the BFPs we’re hoping for on Christmas eve or before so that we have double the excitement over Christmas! I ordered some tests online so currently waiting for them to arrive. The question is whether I’ll be able to be patient enough to wait knowing they’re there! But at the same time I want to give it enough time. Do you all reckon 12DPO is too early to test?

printedlace · 18/12/2020 08:29

@Rice1992 ah thank you my lovely - and same to you! Huge fingers crossed ❤️❤️

Yes I totally agree regarding the waiting and pondering taking away from the Christmas magic! I feel exactly the same, and I'm just hoping if I do get a BFN, that I will be able to keep positive and happy over Christmas! It always makes me a bit tearful for a day or two after AF arrives! 😬😢

I've been testing from 8DPO. First pregnancy so I'm not really sure what I'm doing to be fair; but I have heard some people get their BFP's as early as this! Needless to say, I've not had anything other than a BFN 🤣🙈

12DPO might show something up for you, though!
if you've got any internet cheapies you could give it a go ❤️🥰

Noo3833 · 18/12/2020 08:55

I’m in the same boat as you, it’s all so new and rather confusing. I feel that there’s so many conflicting things online about symptoms & when is best or not best to test 😂 I can see why people get obsessed with it month in and out 🤦🏼‍♀️

printedlace · 18/12/2020 08:59

@Noo3833 ah bless you. It's a tough boat to be in, isn't it!
Like you say - very conflicting information. I'm pretty sure if you googled 'sharp pain in my toe' for example, it would probably tell you it's a pregnancy symptom 🤣🤣

Xx
