@Foxl2222 yep north east England I live in now. I was thinking the same haven’t been able to sleep past 4am these past nights so I’ve been doing some thinking. Hoping Ams can join us again too, she has all our support 🥰

Temp is still high (36.8) down from 36.91 but still high and where I’d like it to be. Going to test tomorrow I think - I’m sure I’ve asked this before but had a memory like a sieve for the past week, is it best with FMU or holding for a few hours then testing around lunch? Also as mentioned having real trouble staying asleep and have no idea why other than that my aching cramp doesn’t seem to be here today

Benefit to being up I’m off to Morrisons to brave the Christmas shop when they open as 6am 😂

@Dex1521 great your temp is still high 🙂interesting you keep waking at 5am as well. Not to get your hopes up too much, it could be anything, but a few of us with BFPs have had that early on?

FMU is recommended for pregnancy tests, but I had stronger results in the evening. When I was doing obesesive testing (...oh dear) I did it at 8pm after a 3hr hold. I'd give FMU a go first though as I think the HCG is supposed to be stronger in the morning?

Hope the Xmas shopping went well? I've got everything except meat for the roast. There is a big butcher/farm shop here, so going after breakfast to see what nice small joints of meat they have (it's just for me and DP). It's not very traditional, but I was thinking maybe pork shoulder with a cidery gravy.

@Dex1521 I'm almost sure with most tests it's best to use FMU. But think the super sensitive ones like frer say it's doesn't matter what time of day. Are you testing on Christmas morning?

Sorry just to add, is it the opposite with opk's? I think it's best to test later on the day? Well, I'm hoping this is the case as I've just had a major dip in OPK this morn 😂

@foxl2222 hehe yes it's the opposite with OPKs, just to confuse us 🙂

Thanks girls. I’m so anxious already. I keep waking up really early aswell between 4-5am but managed to get back off to sleep.

I’ve just done another clear blue how many weeks, felt sick doing it incase there was no progression but it’s now saying 2-3 weeks so that’s a week difference since last week 🤞🏼

I would always just first morning urine if you can for pregnancy tests, think it will be more accurate. @GreenApplesYo shows that it isn’t always the case. I did my test on the afternoon to be honest and it wasn’t even an early response one but then my period was late by then. If it’s the clear blue ovulation test then you can use that with fmu but better to do normal opks on the afternoon.

@GreenApplesYo Oo really that’s interesting actually but will try not get too excited just yet lol. What dpo did you get your Bfp?

Wasn’t too bad just got to nip the the butchers sometime to get the turkey and that’s it all done. Pork and cider gravy sounds amazing might bail on my own dinner and come to yours 🤣

@Foxl2222 yeah gonna “try” and hold on to test until Xmas day which will be 11dpo but we all know I’m the worst POAS addict lol

@Dex1521 I feel like saying this is not going to help your poas urge, but I got my BFP at 9dpo. It was a super faint squinter. It was much clearer by 11dpo so it's definitely better to wait if you can... Not long to go now 🙂

@Foxl2222 Yeah I mean I think my DH would kill me if he knew I'd told people but I think it's all consuming for us women and these are people I want there for me. My friend also said she's so happy as she thinks we'll be brilliant parents which made me well up a bit 🥲 as I've never felt that maternal or like I'd be a 'natural mum'.

@Dex1521 You said you've learnt your lesson not to test early and now you're saying you're testing tomorrow 😂 such an addict! Don't do it- hold out until Xmas morning with me!
My temp did the same as yours this morning - it's dropped to 36.68 but still high so that's ok with me.

I woke up feeling sick but realised I think it's just being sick with nerves about waiting to test. It's that feeling you get the day of a job interview or exam. My nipples are still like rocks. Have a pain on my right side which is worse in the evenings (I was thinking with pms I usually only get the dull ache the days before I'm about to come on, it wouldn't last a week, but I guess I'm only basing that on my previous 18 day cycle).
Also yesterday I noticed a change in my CM- it's white and between creamy & sticky, and definitely smells different (sorry tmi), but not like it's infected or anything, just noticeably different! 🤷🏻‍♀️ also noticed a salty taste in my mouth a few times.
Basically if I'm not preg then my mind is playing tricks and I'm not doing any symptom spotting next month 😂

@Emmgrem haha yeah I am going to hold on to Xmas day I meant not Eve 😂 I think I need help lol.
I’ve heard people get that creamy white CM before their Bfp (read it on forums) so might be a good sign. Mine is like wet a lot like fertile CM again don’t know if this is normal haha.

@Emmgrem one of my first symptoms was a change in CM. I didn't know at the time it was pregnancy related but I've had it ever since, very plentiful and milky creamy. Everything sounds really positive for you so hoping for the best!

@Dex1521 same to you, I was another with early morning waking so seems like a good sign! Although I think now I'm waking up more because I'm anxious and worrying about all sorts!! At 2am this morning I was Googling can you use nail varnish when pregnant! I'm not sure if I've posted this before but just showing the progression of my FRERs so you can see how much difference that extra day or two makes!

@jessi60 hope all goes well today! My scan was moved from today to tomorrow so now just have to try and keep busy so I don't think about it all day!

How many weeks are you for the scan?
I don’t know how much I’ll see today and don’t know if I’ll end up more worried from it, my gp said they will only scan me because of the pain cause I’m over six weeks but I deffo think I’m less that that and more like 5 so not sure what you will be able to see 😒 if it’s too early, might just have to have blood tests.

I’m at work Christmas Day morning but will be keeping an eye out on here for yous testing 🤞🏼🤞🏼❤️ Xx

@jessi60 I'll be 6+5 tomorrow. Also hopeful that it's far along enough to see something, I am fairly confident on my dates though (with the exception of calculating from a withdrawal bleed not an actual period but hopefully that's fine!) so hopefully it will be ok. Even if you were 5 weeks, from what I've seen you can still see something at 5 weeks but not necessarily a heartbeat, hopefully it gives you the reassurance you need today! Please do pop back on and update us!

Another early wake up over here @Dex1521 🙋🏻‍♀️ I was waking up at 5am/4.30am a few days before my bfp. 🤞🏻 its a good sign for you!! I didn't notice any change in CM because I wasn't looking 🙈

@bells20 I'm OK thanks 🙂I'm 11+3 now so almost at the magic 12wks thank goodness. My scan is on 4th Jan, I'll be around 13wks when I have it. Symptoms have faded away over the last 2 weeks or so. Still have sore boobs and burping all the time (ha so attractive), but no sickness. I think this is normal enough by 12wks, but it feel odd like I'm not really pregnant. Glad I had the scan at 9wks or I'd be thinking I've imagined the whole thing haha. Looking forward to the scan and knowing for sure whether the baby is OK.

Lol guess who tested and got a BFN can someone come and slap me please I literally talk myself into it and then after tell myself how stupid I am. Didn’t realise I had 0 willpower before ttc. Why am I so desperate to get pregnant 😭

@Bells20 was there a faint positive on your 9dpo or would you have classed it as BFN? I’m having all these symptoms which I’ve never had before and feel so different to my last cycles. I’ve found reassurance in knowing it could still happen as 9dpo is still early but I swear if it doesn’t happen this cycle I’m not buying any tests until after AF is due

@Dex1521 no on 9dpo it was a stark white BFN absolutely nothing there! You're in the right place haha we are all POAS addicts after all.

@GreenApplesYo really pleased to hear it. Can't believe it's almost 12 weeks, feels like it's gone so quickly but so slowly at the same time haha. I had read that symptoms can start to decrease coming up to 12 weeks I know you said you were feeling quite nauseous (I think it was you anyway!) so hopefully that's eased off a bit! I know what you mean about the scan. How do so many people just take one test and trust that they're pregnant until 12 week scan? I can't understand it!

Couldn’t see anything on ultrasound so had to have an internal scan. Too early for a heartbeat. But she could see a yolk sac. Measuring 5 weeks exactly which is what I thought. They want me back in a couple of weeks for a scan again. Just waiting on another appt. x

@Bells20 honestly I have a serious problem is there such a thing as POAS rehab 😂 I’m glad it was stark white at 9dpo then which to say sounds horrible (I’m sorry) but it gives me reassurance that it can still happen. I just feel that this is going to be my month we did everything right - DTD leading up to it, textbook BBT chart etc etc also I just went to the loo and my knickers are wet with CM like I’ve never had this before I’m usually bone dry down there 🤣

But also after today’s test the urge to test has gone which is maybe a good thing as I can’t bear seeing another BFN lol

I know it’s weird seeing it. Just needs to be an embryo with a heart beat in two weeks!🤞🏼

I think it’s quite common to be stark white at 9dpo I tested a few times before I got my positive and they were all negative not even a squinter! Xxx

@jessi60 so lovely to see that! looks like it's not ectopic and everything is where it should be! Definitely a shame that you couldn't see more but hopefully it was reassuring and at least now you know how far along you are too!! 💛

@jessi60 yaaay! Nice you are getting another scan in 2 weeks as well. You ought to see a heartbeat by then. Glad it's looking OK for your dates 🙂
