Here we go ladies! The last thread was a lucky one so let's keep up the success on this one!

@Dex1521 I'm 90% sure this one is a girl. Probably because I secretly wanted a little boy. But honestly now I'm pregnant I couldn't care less. I would absolutely love a little girl to hang out with and do girly things, but also have also wanted a son so would be over the moon with that too. But honeslty once your pregnant its weird, like your willing them on so much to be okay you just don't care! Im sure when I get to my second ill be more bothered as I really want one of each!!

Is everyone planning to find out the gender? We arent so I've still got another 7 months to wait patiently (something I'm not good at 😂😂😂😂)

@jessi60 I thought that too!! So weird... I'm hoping it's a good sign for me too as I've been the same and it looks like I ovulated CD20 like you (which I was worried was late!!)

To be honest I'm trying FF but I don't find it very user friendly?! I'm a bit simple when it comes to tech though 😅😅

@positivitytree2020 yes stay true to your name and stay positive 😅👏🏻👏🏻 to be fair I think it's better to care less! I've heard loads from so many people who said as soon as they stopped obsessing it just happened! So good attitude!!

My temps have risen again 3 days in a row now so that's good 🌟 does that mean I can confirm ovulation or is there another day to go?!

I've decided I'm not going to temp when I go home despite the fact it'll be useful data. I'm just glad I used it for ovulation- I'll now let nature take its course 🤣 mainly because in the middle of the night (4.30) I woke up and took my temp last night 🤣🤣 it was still high but .2 degree lower than it should have been and was when I woke up! Seems my mind is occupied by it when I'm sleeping too (feel like an addict or something 😅). And when I seen the low number I freaked out - and that stress is just not worth it 🤣 I think I'll be better off in the long run! I'll keep temping til Friday though and hopefully it stays high 🙌🏼🌟 xxxx

I really wouldn’t care what I have. When my sister was pregnant I totally wanted her to have girls, she now has two boys and they are the best things ever. So loving!!

@DrS44 are you using the fertility friend app? It'll give you more lines on your chart when ovulation is confirmed. It all sounds good! If you're using premom, for some reason that confirmed ovulation a day later than FF for me. I was the same and even after I got my BFP I carried on temping and if I got a slightly lower temp one morning I'd really panic. I've stopped now and definitely feel less stressed.

@AMS19 I have exactly the same thoughts as you about gender, always wanted a girl and when I imagined myself as a mother it was always with a baby girl. But now I'm pregnant I just so want this little bean to be ok that I don't mind! Chinese gender chart says a girl though (google it- it's super Scientific 😂)

@DrS44 yeah 3 days of higher temps will confirm it. FF would have given you the cross hairs today like @bells20 said. I think stopping tracking given Christmas is fine. I would say usually definitely keep going as it is really helpful to see a whole chart across a cycle. But given it is a busy month missing one cycle of information won't hurt. Hopefully you'll get a BFP so wouldnt need the information anyway! So when are you thinking about testing? Guessing by at latest Christmas day so you can know if you can drink? Eeeek you're officially in your TWW. So you're now 3DPO?

@Bells20 yeah I looked at the Chinese chart and mine is a girl too. So I'm pretty sure it is a girl 😂😂

@AMS19 @Bells20 yes using FF too, that red line (below) has been there since 1DPO? Or am I waiting on something else?!

@AMS19 exactly - I'll be going to bed wayyy later and you wayyy later too and drinking etc so it's not like it would be reliable anyways?

Yaaaa I'm not sure to be honest when to test! I feel like it might ruin Christmas Day if I got a negative but then if I continue drinking as normal probably not advisable I'm not sure?! My period is due the 27th so could wait til then if AF doesn't show? Last cycle my luteal phase was really short like 9 days or something! I did ovulate very late though it was CD27. This month CD10 so hopefully it lengthens the luteal and gives me a better chance?! Xx

I would not take too many pictures of the same test while uploading to the premom app, just keep the quality one and focus on the trends of the LH progression.

@DrS44 when it is confirmed you'll get solid red lines like this.

Yeay just take a break from tempting and enjoy yourself. If j were you I would test Christmas day morning. If you'll be 12DPO and test with a FRER it will be like 98% accurate! I mean, look at @jessi60 there will always be a chance even with a BFN you could still be pregnant.

@AMS19 hmmmmmm might ruin Christmas if it's negative though 🤣🤣 I'll have a think! We are going to the place we are getting married the day after so I feel like doing it there would be better anyways as we will be on our own and have the time and space to digest everything! Otherwise Christmas Day I'll either have to sit with my family all day (and I'll be seeing my aunts etc too) and try lie or try be happy when I'm raging 😅 I'll just drink a lot less than I would normally 🤣👏🏻🙌🏼 xxxx

@DrS44 awww yeah boxing day sounds perfect then 🙂 my family are such big drinkers i would have to test annoyingly as our Christmas's are drinking from 8am 😂😂

Hello! 4.30am wake up over here 🙋🏻‍♀️ Fell back asleep around 6.30 though. I felt queasy early this morning, fine now.
We're not going to find out either @AMS19 😀 I feel like it's one of the only times you get a big surprise in life, but also, we don't care what it is as long as it's healthy and arrives safely 🤞🏻

@AMS19 yeah exactly I would be spotted straight away! And as much as I'll probably tell my mam anyway I don't think I'd like to tell my extended family until it's confirmed 🥰 so I think the 26/27th is the most likely time I'll test 🌟xxxxx

@DrS44 Yeah I had three negative tests. I did it on CD 27 a day before my period was due and it was negative but I think I ovulated on my second peak of that month and then I did it CD 37 which was still negative. And then got my positive on CD 39 so like 14 dpo? X

I’m hoping to test around NYE or the 30th don’t want to do it too early so going to wait until around 14dpo I think we’ll I’ll try 😂

My family are also big drinkers at Christmas, i'm just hoping I can get presents out of the way before the first drinks get brought out haha. I've got some little chocolates that spell out 'I can't wait to meet you' and I'm gonna put a picture of my early scan in there too and wrap it up for my parents. Really felt like tempting fate when I bought them so just hoping my scan next week does go well otherwise I'll have a fair bit of chocolate to eat!

It'll make me so happy to see a few more BFPs by the end of the year! Fingers crossed for you all!!

I'm originally from Wales and we were meant to go to my parents this year for Christmas, but we're staying in London now as it's too risky. I think if we were at my parents, I would have had to tell them as I do like a drink, and they would know straightaway 😂

Another update from me (surprise surprise) just went to the loo in work and when I wiped the second wipe had the tiniest amount of EWCM I would’ve missed it if I wasn’t knicker checking 24/7 but I was able to stretch it quiet far between fingers

Can you get it after ovulation? I’m only 1dpo today though so maybe it’s just leftovers that’s dropped out? If that makes sense 🤣

@DrS44 I’m confused myself to be honest cause I kept delaying my period on the app so it’s mucked the cycle up. I think my peak was CD 20 and had me down to ovulate CD 21. But I didn’t get my positive test until CD 39.
But I don’t know if that ovulation date was actually right as I had a peak earlier aswell 🤷🏻‍♀️ X

@Bells20 How many weeks will you be when you have your scan?

When you refer to a midwife do you just wait until your 12 week scan or do you have to have some appointment beforehand? Xx

I've just booked an 8 week scan for the 10th January too! We're going to hold off telling parents until after it, so we can make sure it's all ok.
@jessi60 - i phoned my GP on Monday to inform them I'm pregnant and then they asked which hospital I'd like to go with, and to then fill in a form on that hospital's maternity website. Waiting to hear back now 😀

@jessi60 you'd probably have a booking in appointment first where they ask you loads of questions about your medication, living arrangements etc and also take blood and urine samples, weigh you etc. Mine was about an hour, but very straightforward. I got my 12wk scan date through the post a few days after my booking in. Is that what you meant? 🙂
