@SS123456 oh no, hopefully all will be ok with them!

Depending on my LP (10/11 days) I'm due on 5th/6th Jan.

SS123456 · 27/12/2020 14:17

@whambam89 lets hope it never shows 😁🤞🏻

@SS123456 I really hope not! 🤞🤞

MrsB2019x · 27/12/2020 21:09

@whambam89 I seriously have everything crossed it doesn’t show!!

ChristmasJumpers · 27/12/2020 22:52

Hi all, sorry I've been super quiet lately and have name changed in the last week too (was pizzaandcats). Managed to DTD 4 out of 5 days during my most fertile week which I think is the most we've ever done! I'm now 6/7dpo so expecting AF in another 5/6 days. We both have a really good feeling about this one because of how often we DTD but I know most couples always manage it and it still doesn't mean a guaranteed BFP. Fingers crossed though 🤞
Congratulations @SS123456!! Such amazing news 😁

MrsB2019x · 27/12/2020 23:21

Oooooft livid this evening and need somewhere to vent 😂

MIL text DH this evening, saying “I’ve got to ask... is Mrs B pregnant? She wasn’t drinking on Christmas”
... why have you GOT to ask? She knows about the ectopic and didn’t give 2 shits then so why is she bothered now?! And surely knowing our history she’d respect that we would want to tell people in our own time? That and who just flat out asks if a woman is pregnant? GAH!!

Rant over. 😇

MrsB2019x · 27/12/2020 23:21

Best of luck @ChristmasJumpers!

whambam89 · 28/12/2020 08:22

@MrsB2019x sounds like something my MIL would do! What did your DH say? I think it's so rude when people ask!! Especially knowing your history.. I'd be fuming too x

MrsB2019x · 28/12/2020 08:42

@whambam89 He didn’t reply, then she sent another one shortly after saying that I was hungry and tired and the last time she felt like that he popped out. He just replied saying I’m hungry and tired all the time 😂 Honestly flat out rude and why would we decide to tell her over text..? 🙄

whambam89 · 28/12/2020 08:46

@MrsB2019x and now when you do announce you're going to get her being all smug saying she knew it. I've actually told my OH that I don't want to tell his mum next time because she was such a knob with the ectopic (literally didn't even message / ring to see how I was etc), and I later found out that when my SIL found out that she was pregnant and she rang her mum saying she didn't know how to tell us her mum replied "oh they'll be fine, they've already got one child".

SS123456 · 28/12/2020 10:11

Thank you @ChristmasJumpers ! 😊. Oh well done, it sounds like you have definitely made the most of fw 😁🤞🏻

@MrsB2019x I don't blame you for being pissed off, it is so rude to ask! If you were ready to share it you would have told her!! How are you feeling?

OP posts:
ChristmasJumpers · 28/12/2020 10:44

@MrsB2019x that is something my own mum would do. I told her about my friends early pregnancy announcement at 8 weeks (unavoidable as she is so ill with it) and she said "I hope you'd tell me as soon as you found out?!"... I won't be doing that as she would 100% tell other people before I was ready but now I know that she'll be upset that I kept it from her 🙄

MrsB2019x · 28/12/2020 11:13

@whambam89 That’s exactly how she was!! She didn’t message me once to say she hoped I was ok/sorry for your loss etc. DH tried to justify it because she was messaging him 🙄 Can’t believe your MIL said that, a loss is a loss no matter how many children you have already!

@SS123456 I know right! I’ve spent the last couple of days feeling like I have a really shit hangover ☹️ Annoyingly copious amounts of KFC and fountain coke won’t cure it like it does my hangovers 😂 How are you doing?

@ChristmasJumpers That is a bit of a predicament ☹️ I’d like to think she wouldn’t go around telling loads of people but you never know!

whambam89 · 28/12/2020 11:35

@MrsB2019x MIL's - who'd have them?! I pulled her up on it in the end because I'm not one for keeping quiet haha, of course she came out with all of the excuses under the sun but did eventually apologise.

Just remember feeling rubbish is a good sign - although I'm sure it feels like it'll never end right now! 😂

@SS123456 how are you feeling?

SS123456 · 28/12/2020 11:59

@MrsB2019x at least it gives you an excuse to keep eating the kfc and cake 😉. Hopefully not too long now until it passes for you! It really is awful feeling so ill, it makes you feel really down and sorry for yourself doesn't it. I don't want to say it out loud but so far I haven't particularly had any sickness but with my DS it started completely overnight so I'm sure I'm in for that starting soon! @whambam89 I am feeling ok thanks. Really tired with sore boobs and have been really bloated but not ill as such. I am also really short of breathe going up and down the stairs too much which I assume is because my resting heart rate has gone from 65bpm on the 3rd December to being 81bpm this morning

OP posts:
MrsB2019x · 28/12/2020 17:36

@SS123456 Wish I could eat copious amounts of KFC and cake but I’m getting full so much quicker atm and completely gone off sweet stuff! Hope the sickness stays away for you!

@whambam89 Well done you!! I’d have loved to confront her about it but she would probably end up getting really mopey and depressed about it and I couldn’t have dealt with it tbh 😂

SS123456 · 29/12/2020 06:54

@MrsB2019x how funny, I was saying the EXACT same thing last night to my OH. I feel hungry but can't really eat much when the food is in front of me. I also usually always need a chocolate fix at some point in the day but I've gone off sweet things for now

Good morning ladies,
I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas!

I took a bit of a break because my mind needed a rest from all things ttc.
I had a lovely break and enjoyed Christmas without thinking about babies every 3 minutes.

I'm 8dpo today and although I've not been actively symptom spotting there are a few I've struggled to ignore.
I have had spells of dizziness, I've been really hot, my boobs are hard and sore....(we also dtd everyday from the end of af until 2 days after ovulation)
We have decided to test on Thursday. Hoping for some good news to end the year!
We have brought a frer and il be 10dpo.
Anyone else testing anytime soon?
xx

MrsB2019x · 29/12/2020 08:25

@Rotagilla Welcome back! Glad you had a lovely Christmas. Symptoms sound promising - best of luck for Thursday!

BuckleUp · 29/12/2020 09:00

Hi all!

I just popped on to see how you guys are doing, so so happy to see so many BFPs - this one is obviously a lucky thread!! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and were able to make the most of it.

Any New Year resolutions for anyone?

xx

kirinm · 29/12/2020 10:06

Hi all

Hope everyone is okay. Trying not to get too wound up this month with TTC. Easier when not at work. I'm CD10 and negative OPK. Think I'll ovulate on CD12.

Are you all back to work or off until Jan? I'm off until 4th. Miss the routine but absolutely not the stress / anxiety.

Rotagilla · 29/12/2020 10:20

@kirinm I'm off until the 5th....enjoying it but also seriously need to stop eating rubbish and get into a routine!

@BuckleUp I love making resolutions, need to have a think...probably more reading and less screens for one...for the whole family.

Thankyou @MrsB2019x

SS123456 · 29/12/2020 10:23

@Rotagilla that sounds extremely promising, please keep us updated! I have all my fingers crossed for you 😊🤞🏻

Nice to hear from you @BuckleUp , I hope all is well with you 😊

@kirinm I am so glad you are finding some time to relax, hopefully it will be just what your body needs 😊. I am back to work on the 4th Jan too but as I'm self-employed I'll likely do a small bit of work between now and then just so it doesn't pile up

I feel really short of breathe and nauseous this morning. Not sure if it pregnancy or illness related though as I've had a sore throat since yesterday. I don't think it's helped that I only got 4 hours sleep last night as OHs kids slept at ours last night for the first time ever 😴

Mine is just to try and not allow work to overwhelm me to the extent that it did over the last few months. I'm going to force myself out for a run or walk everyday as sitting at my desk for hours on end everyday didn't do anything positive for my mental health.

That's pretty much it. Try and get through 2021 as best as we can!

whambam89 · 29/12/2020 12:45

@rotagilla that sounds really promising! I ovulated Christmas day / boxing day not sure how many dpo I am, trying not to think about it too much! Back in work today but then off until Tuesday so not too bad x
