Welcome to the longest running funniest bus ride in history! Or so we like to think anyway...

We talk sex, tv, work, more sex, food, slimming, RHR, charts, spicing things up or down, crafting (a more recent addition for 🎄🎅🏻) and help each other out in any way possible. Oh and yeah Trying to make babies gets mentioned a bit too but more often than not our bodies just do what they want!

When I say a few of us have been around the TTC block I don’t mean 🍆I mean as a MN group, not just a bus, a mini sanctuary since March for some of through the highs and lows of making babies through 2020 ❤️🥰

@Minster2012 I realised I also picked up the lemongrass one, that's quite similar but a bit nicer.

I've just noticed Holland & Barrett have the non alcohol sprit on offer for £12.99 (down from £25.99, I resent paying that much for non alcohol drinks 😂)

I've previously tried the Caleno non alcohol gin but was disappointed, just like expensive slightly water.

Sometimes girls I wonder what's wrong with my head. It's like I want to torture myself and feel shitty. My friend who's pregnant and due like a week after me, we'll I've muted her on all socials and I don't see any of her stuff now which is good but then every 5-7days I keep searching for her and seeing if she's put any pregnancy/belly updates on (she posts quite alot). And I feel relief when she hasn't but when she has its awful. Her bump is so big now and god it breaks my heart that I'm not there too. But I'm doing this to myself. 🤯 What is the matter with me?!?! I don't know why I'm doing it to myself.

@blackcurrantqueen same struggle I'm having for sure. 9dpo tomorrow and struggling with the TWW for sure.

I have had a HELLISH day at work as it was my last day before two weeks of jury service and then 3 weeks of annual leave.
I cannot wait to not be at work and trying something different but also stressing at leaving them all.

Orange gin and lemonade helped tonight as I worked until 9pm.

Hugs to @2020mission and anyone else with useless bodies. 🤣 It is crap. But that doesn't mean we don't enjoy positives too, as @Minster2012 says, its the rules! We can still all celebrate the times it goes right. Just like we can all be there for the times it doesn't.

@Newbie0818 oh I love NY! I went years ago but I'd love to go with DH. I'm not a city person but it really is an experience. I went January time and it was freezing! But it was amazing.

Had my day 3 blood test today. Again. 🙄 Nurse seemed to think I should now do another day 21 also. In case the referral people don't like the fact it was not done in the same cycle. To save it bouncing back again. She's probably right. But this just seems to be dragging on.

@Sausage1990 I don't think there's anything wrong with you, she's your friend so you're curious, but it doesn't mean it doesn't hurt badly. It sounds like you're still grieving which is natural, so be kind to yourself 💕
I also have a fascination with seeing pregnancy bellies etc because I think one day that'll be me (hopefully...)

@paintfairy it's always been a bucket list thing for me as like you I'm not a city person at all, but I want to see what I see on tv haha. Want to do all the cheesy tourist things and just explore it. I'd love to do a whole American road trip one day, but that's for later on.

@Sausage1990 for some reason, we like to torture ourselves and I don't know why! I'm sure a psychologist would. It's like when you stalk an ex when they get a new gfriend. Must be some weird brain response thing. You'll stop in time. 🫂
@paintfairy hope the referral comes through quickly! Mine went in in sept and nothing yet 😬 although we have another one going through now which is direct from urology so hoping that'll be speedier!

@Sausage1990 I get you. I did something similar. Though not blocking a lady we know but she announced her pregnancy the same time as we would have been v similar stage & she's VERY prolific on social media with proper schmulshy "mummy of (now) 3 boys" posts kissing the bump photo shoot type things & I didn't want to look BUT I couldn't NOT cos I wanted to think "that should have been me" I think it's still part of grieving darling.

@notyetamumbuttrying bloody hell that AIBU was funny. I was laughing out loud. A couple of bits I loved. The comment saying "I think the fact your dad thought that suggests there's still quite a few idiots in London" & "they elected Boris as mayor, twice, nuff said" (though I don't mind Boris compared to May actually) & "an estate agent also told you, must be true then...if you believe them you are clearly of higher intelligence etc etc"

Morning everybody.
Just getting ready to take kids on ferry to swimming there's a pool that you can book out for an hour and be the only ones in the pool so great excitement in this house.

My temp shot up today really hoping this is a good sign. I'll post a photo @Juno231 how do you think it's looking or is it still too early to tell when ovulation was.

@paintfairy I nearly wish I had asked, if he really broke his nose, he’ll need medical attention and a report to police will follow, I guess, it was in a very busy area of city centre so expect cameras everywhere... I seem to be the only one stoping him in his tracks, funny enough he thinks I fancy him, yes darling, haven’t slept with another man in 20+ years but you’ll be the one I chose😒

@Newbie0818 it was for me. We rode in a taxi even though we didn't need to. 🤣 I wanted a photo. The driver was grumpy because we didn't go far and I tipped him really well so there was no need. 🤪 I've done 3 weeks around the middle (calgary, montana, etc) but I'd love to do a West Coast drive. If we don't have kids we might manage it, if we can ever fly again!

@Sausage1990 I think it is human to torture yourself. We all know its best not to. But for some reason we do? Like looking up what exs are doing when you've split up!

@notyetamumbuttrying sounds like an interesting day! And no these things are never fast. Hence why the faffing has annoyed me.

@paintfairy yeah let's hope I can keep my emotions in check! The friend with the newborn knows we're ttc and knows about Dh diagnosis but doesn't know that the latest with the urologist yet. Excited to see my sisters new place tho! She's got a newborn too! Well he's 3 months now so think still technically a newborn. He's such a gorge lump, she always makes really chubby babies to the point where she's asked what she feeding them 😂 her ten year old is so skinny now, you'd never think he was such a chubby baby.
And yeah the waiting and faffing is just such a bore isn't it! Ttc is just a massive long wait isn't it. Rubbish. Hope you have nice things to do today tho 😊

We've just been to get the pup fitted for a new harness, a little tweed number, he looks adorable

Finished work gloves, longer cuff and shorter hand to have fingers completely free, more discreet colour than my purple glitter ones

@AHobbyaweek that's good then, another day down more socks to make them hurt, I hope it's not a grisly one for you. My mum went on one which actually upset her. Trialling a man who was now 70 odd but being tried for rape of young girls in the 70s& 80s so she found it hard I hope it's ok for you, a "light crime 😝"

A day of trying to stop chaos here as DH gone shooting & coukdnt take the dogs so I've got DS & the dogs & a totally messy house all winding each other up. Out walking now, well I'm pulling DS on his pull along tractor down country lane so dogs can run!

Then going to attempt to decorate the tree. With a 2.5 year old. It will be carnage. Send wine.

The glitter ones, shorter cuff and covers most of my fingers, not practical for work, plus I love this colour and don't want to ruin them

Thank you for you replies. I was just having such a moment feeling so frustrated with myself for self torture but you're so right we di it with exes, and we do it with diets and stuff.... Doing down the treats aisle in the supermarket etc. I think you're right that it's part of the grieving process but I'm glad dim not alone and that @minster2012 you did exactly the same. I just wish it was me. I think as I've never been pregant before I'm also curious to know what my belly might have looked like. Thank you for you kind support once again.

@Franklydear after my chemical in January my next cycle was back to normal straight away. No delays to the next one which suprised me too.

@notyetamumbuttrying sound like a nice day - and some baby cuddles sounds lovely too 😊 I saw a friend a few weeks ago with her 4 month old and the baby cuddles were just lush.

@Franklydear they are lovely and totally understand why you don't want to ruin them!

@Sausage1990 yep you are right we do it with ex's it's the same!! I was very much "oh well I wouldn't do that" but the same as you, I've never been pregnant & because it was so similar timing it was more to think what I'd be like. It's so natural.
