jessi60 · 23/11/2020 13:33

@DrS44 Hoepfully I’m on the mend! Bloody could literally only happen to me the first proper month of TTC 🤣

Ah you never know, your not ruled out yet Xxx

Dex1521 · 23/11/2020 13:45

@DrS44 Oo I don’t think so! If could go along with your cramps as implantation bleeding. What dpo are you? You’re around the time of implantation aren’t you?

DrS44 · 23/11/2020 13:48

@Ams19 @Dex1521 oohhh maybe Int just googled and that is what it looks like? Like it was a few really small light specks 🤣 went looking for more 🙈🤣 and couldn't find any 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'm 8DPO? Surely be too early for AF- is implantation between 6 and 12? You got a BFN on 10DPO didn't you @AMS19 xxxx

Ams19 · 23/11/2020 13:59

@DrS44 sounds ideal timing for it. I got a BFN on 9DPO, didn't test 10 or 11, positive on 12. If it is implantation you should be able to get a positive in a couple of days off a FRER, as after implantation is when you're body starts producing HCG!

DrS44 · 23/11/2020 14:08

@Ams19 did it happen much for you? I wouldn't have noticed it because there was so little only because I've been cramping I had a look😅 xxx

DrS44 · 23/11/2020 14:09

@Ams19 ok great I'll try a FRER Wednesday maybe xx

PowerOfFlowers · 23/11/2020 14:17

Oh @jessi60 that sounds horrible for you. At least you now know what it is though and hopefully you can start antibiotics. Can you get some rehydration sachets or do they also go through you? Hugs to you!
Ooh @DrS44 I wonder what it is! 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Dex1521 · 23/11/2020 14:27

@DrS44 what dpo did you start getting symptoms and if you don’t mind me asking what were they? I’ve had nothing really so far expect feeling bloated, constipated slightly and been quiet gassy too 🤣 and the extremely hard nipple situation

DrS44 · 23/11/2020 14:41

@Dex1521 I had the erect nipples thing too! So strange! I think that was around ovulation and just after! I noticed when I was in a really hot bath and my nipples were rock hard I was like WTF?!

My nipples aren't sore or anything but they were around 3/4 day DPO so I think that was still from ovulation...

Nothing major other than I seem to be freezing all the time but then on a morning I am roasting 🤷🏼‍♀️ but I am always cold so not sure that's anything. Last night the fam were all really warm fire on heating on everything, I was fully dressed with a hoody and socks and then put a dressing gown on and still so cold 🤣

And after having a drink and eating a big dinner I'm feeling really gassy and nauseous. But again that could be to do with all the food and drink I'm having 🤣🤣

So not much other than these cramps and that light spotting I would say xxx

DrS44 · 23/11/2020 14:43

@Dex1521 the gassy/nauseous happened Friday night so 5DPO xxx

Dex1521 · 23/11/2020 16:10

@DrS44 yeah I was saying to my OH my nipples feel like bacon rind and really bumpy around it too. I’m always freezing too so totally get you with the socks and dressing gown get up. But it could be middle of July and I’ll have my dressing gown on 😂 My OH sits in shorts and a T-shirt all year round 😳

Haven’t been feeling nauseous since ovulation and haven’t had those lightheaded dizzy spells where I feel really sick that I was getting every other day the two weeks before ovulation. And to do with gassyness I have been a bit but not enough to make me think its PG just from eating too much 😂

DrS44 · 23/11/2020 16:19

@Dex1521 I know loads of people who didn't have any symptoms so I wouldn't worry! I'm just intrigued by that spotting I saw today! Fingers crossed for us both xxx

Dex1521 · 23/11/2020 16:28

@DrS44 yeah for someone who said they wouldn’t symptoms spot I’ve been doing a hell of a lot of it 🤣 must be the first cycle excitement of it all 😂 hope it happens for us all soon xx

Ams19 · 23/11/2020 16:54

@DrS44 yep it happened to me. The tiniest little bit in the world, if I wasn't actively inspecting my knickers (cringe) each time I went for a wee i would have missed it! That was 10DPO!

OP posts:
DrS44 · 23/11/2020 16:55

@Ams19 so was it just the once as well? I know that's what I'm like 😅 I'll wait a few days now before I test xxx

Ams19 · 23/11/2020 16:58

@DrS44 yep just the once! Then 2 days later got mt BFP! 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Feeling abit better 🥳 still got a heat pack on my stomach though 🤣

Did another opk with more of a dilute sample incase that’s why it was reading higher. Managed to drink more today. Still not too different though🧐

Christ I’m talking like I’m at work saying sample 😂😂 I just mean more dilute wee🙄

Emmgrem · 23/11/2020 20:23

@Dex1521 andv@DrS44 I'm with you guys on the crazy symptom spotting! Makes me feel more normal. Femometer has changed the date it thinks I ovulated now, to a few days ago when I'm pretty sure I didn't as Cm has all dried up and LH showing 0 now at CD17.
So anyway I've got no idea what DPO I am have been having twinges, and felt so sick this morning I nearly had to run off my work meeting video call (upset stomach all morning, don't know if that's a symptom) and a headache today and yesterday which I don't usually get.

Although this might all be because we're waiting to find out if we've been accepted for the house we want and so I'm stressing out about that.
Was imagining how nice it would be to get the house and find out we were pregnant before Xmas, but now I'm slightly panicking thinking how on earth does anyone afford a big mortgage on one salary? 🙈 My workplace only have statutory maternity pay! Shouldn't probably get so ahead of myself but sometimes I wonder whether we can afford both right now 😂

Dex1521 · 23/11/2020 20:27

@Emmgrem we are the same we are looking for a house but going to start looking and making offers in January. I was thinking that too how could we do it with just one salary so we have decided to look for cheaper older houses that could be decorated and done up over time which I love doing anyway. I think we are quiet lucky though living in Darlington as the North east is fairly cheap to get a decent sized 3 or 4 bed for under £150k

Emmgrem · 23/11/2020 20:56

@Dex1521 That sounds sensible doing one thing at a time! We've been trying to sell ours since July and it's only just sold so feels like a long time coming, and now it's uncertain whether the new build will accept us with such a long chain! If it falls through we'll wait until Jan too. So stressful! I don't think I could renovate with a baby either though. But as we all know the body clock doesn't wait for the perfect time 🙄

I would love to live where you do when it comes to house buying. It's £500-600k to get a 4 bed down here (I'm on the south coast) and even most of those need work first! But all our family live here 🤷🏻‍♀️ dreams of retiring to a mansion in the north with lots of land or something 😂

Dex1521 · 23/11/2020 21:07

@Emmgrem aw we are lucky we are renting at the moment as first time buyers. My OH is very practical and it would get him out of changing nappies if he decorates around me and our hopefully baby 😂 I’m good at choosing colours and themes and very good at telling him where to put them 🤣

We really want to visit the south coast it was going to be our holiday this year but had to cancel we were going to drive down to longleat and bath and then down to Torquay and a few other towns over the space of three weeks. We were lucky to get money back etc but will definitely try and do it in the future.

Foxl2222 · 23/11/2020 21:26

Thank you @AMS19 :)
Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t had a chance to read through the thread but will do when I get into bed, some light bed time reading😅
Basically I’m on 2nd cycle of trying for 1st pregnancy. First cycle was bit of a guessing game, didn’t know what we were doing really. Experienced the standard TWW craziness, symptom spotting and pregnancy testing from 6dpo🙈 anyhow, decided to use OPK this cycle and have attached the results. Seems strange to me that they are so low cos any app or prediction things I’ve looked at, predict my O for tomorrow, have ewcm too, so hoping I’ll get a sudden rise maybe tomorrow. Only started testing CD10 so hopefully I didn’t miss it. Generally my cycles are 27-29 days so relatively regular🤷‍♀️
Anyone on a similar time scale/cycle? Or experienced such low results close to O? Xx
