Hi @BigLucy. How does tracking HR work? I do BBT and OPKs. Sounds interesting!

It's just my Fitbit that tracks my heart rate but when I am building up to ovulation it goes up and comes down after I have ovulated and then my friends who were pregnant after implantation saw a steady increase in the heart rate so I'm looking out for it over the next few days hahaha xxx

I'm 1DPO TTC number 1. It's the first time I've ever properly tracked my ovulation this cycle and for both high and peak on a digital clear blue. I didn't notice any EWCM however but I don't know if this is normal for me? If it doesn't work this time around what would anyone suggest to help EWCM?

Is anybody else shamelessly symptom spotting?
I’m only 4dpo and have cramping - which could be caused by anything!

@Hrps sorry I can’t help much with the EGCM advice, but have noticed others using preseed?

Welcome newbies. I am 4dpo I think but then this mornings line is staying fairly dark so I don't know what's going on. The darkest line was saturdays and that's when I had ewcm and had my peak Friday but just so confused.

I have heard preseed is good. I am thinking of trying it as I don't get much ewcm. Anyone's lines on their ovulation sticks stayed that dark even when ovulated? Xxxxx

Currently 6dpo and not really had any symptoms but this morning my mouth seems to constantly be full of saliva 🙈 anyone else had this? I’m probs just looking into things too much hahah x x

That's strange. No, my OPK was negative immediately after the peak. Could you have geared up for ovulation but not ovulate so your body is trying again?

I don't understand the numbering on the tests but 24 looks like a very strong line.

That's the cycle day I'm on. Yea I'm wondering if I didn't end up ovulating. So weird xxxx

CD19 looks like a peak too.

This is my first cycle ttc having come off the pill in August. I had a withdrawal bleed and my first period.

Have been tracking this cycle with opks, ended up with some very strong positives Sunday Monday and Tuesday, dtd for 5 days in a row and as of last night and this am they are fainter lines (thank god as I am knackered 😂)
Have attached a pic incase anyone has any advice, the one dated 10th October 5pm is actually 11th October.

Last night and this morning have a stitch type/trapped wind feeling in my right side and really sore, purple nipples, I had the sore nips last month but didn't track but dtd anyway so not sure if I ovulated or not!

So I am either 1dpo or 2/3dpo I really have no idea at this point but would love to join you so I don't go insane on my first tww!

I’m on first cycle ttc first baby. I am 7dpo (opk peak on CD 18). I have been feeling cramps/twinges since about 2dpo but have really been symptom spotting 😬.

Today I had nausea so strong that made me run to the bathroom about an hour ago. I wasn’t actually sick so I ate something, had a bit a reflux but managed to keep it down. Surely it is way to early for this????

@Purpleflowers21 I have had lots of saliva in my mouth today too, feels like I need to go and spit it out (sorry - whole post is tmi!) every 10mins or so.

@Lemongrass9 it’s really strange isn’t it?! I haven’t actually felt sick it’s just the saliva so far 🙈 I also had a few days of very slight pains in lower right side but wasn’t sure if this was ovulation pain, but it lasted quite a few day’s so not sure. I guess as we’re on our first cycle ttc we really don’t know what to expect! We’re you on birth control before ttc? It’s also my first cycle off the pill so I have no idea what my cycle would be like and didn’t track ovulation or anything as just wanted to see how it goes at first xx

@Purpleflowers21 it is very weird! Haven’t felt sick again since so maybe it was a one-off.

I had my implant removed at the start of September and had a period 3 weeks later. I had an ultrasound scan at the end of September (I was referred back in February for something else but only just got an appointment due to COVID). I told the person doing the scan that I was planning ttc and she told me that she could tell that I had ovulated between getting implant removed and first period and she could also see eggs getting ready for ovulation this cycle so feel really reassured by that.

It is really hard with it being first cycle ads don’t know when to expect my period, want to avoid testing too early if I can.

Is this your first or do you have children already?

Hi ladies. I’m in another thread on mumsnet and last month, there was success with the use of preseed and fertility cups. Sounded weird but did some research on them.

Needless to say I bought them both off amazon and have used them this cycle. Sorry this is a bit gross but I basically used the preseed 10 mins before sex, then popped the cup in a few mins after sex and kept it in for a few hours. I did that three nights in a row in my fertile window. So I guess I can be a good guinea pig for you all this month. 8DPO today. Due AF on Monday. Won’t test until Tuesday but keeping an eye on my BBT.

@Hrps I don't really get any noticeable EWCM either, but I read somewhere that as long as it is up there where it counts, it should be fine and plenty of women have got pregnant without noticing it. I am only really going to worry about it if I don't get pregnant after a couple of months. I have heard evening primrose oil is supposed to help.

@BigLucy my LH levels dropped slowly after my peak. I tests the morning after and it was still pretty dark, but not a peak so I assume that it was fine. I definitely ovulated because my temperature went up. Are you tracking your BBT?

4DPO for me. Only thing I have noticed is that since ovulation I have just continually felt like I was going to start my period. That heavy feeling you get in your uterus! And from yesterday, my lower back has been aching a lot. Implantation wouldn't have even happened yet so I think I am just imagining it to be honest!! haha

I didn't bbt. I just checked and my mucus is more creamy now than egg white so I'm sure I must of ovulated. From today I have that heavy feeling aswell like period could come and also back ache. If I did ovulate Saturday then I'm also 4dpo. So hard not knowing now if I've ovulated or not x x x

@CookieMonster3001 it is too early for implantation (if our ovulation dates are right) but we can always hope ha. That being said my first pregnancy I had cramps leading up to AF and he’s now almost at high school.

@BigLucy when are you going to test (sorry if you’ve mentioned this before but if I scroll up I lose my message). AF should be due 20th but suspected ovulation date puts this at 10dpo so still early.

@Lemongrass9 Well that’s good that you know you’ve definitely started ovulating again. This would be first baby, what about you?

Yes this is my first too. Do you think you will test early or try and hold out? Do you have a date in mind?

@BigLucy it sounds as though you did and from looking at your tests, CD19 looks like your peak, whilst the others are dark, I wouldn't say they are darker than the control line. If this is not your month, I would highly recommend monitoring your BBT. I know people say its a lot to do and its added stress, but its the only thing that can really confirm your ovulation. You seem to be having the same as me though! I have had creamy milky CM since ovulation as well!

@WinterBabyof89 ooo was that from ovulation as well? I literally have been having the same type of cramps everyday since ovulation, and I think I ovulated on my right because I could feel the pain on that side, and my cramps have all been on the right since ovulation
