@kittycat581 Hello, so sorry for your loss ❤️ it's really hard going to the scans alone at the minute. I had a similar situation - mmc and found out via scan at 8 weeks. I hope you are okay and looking after yourself.

I think the general advice that doctors will give is to wait until you have your first period after mc to try again. This is usually for dating purposes though unless you have been given a specific medical reason. Some ladies on the thread have got pregnant before their first period and I started trying before my first period after mc as well. I didn't catch though and am now in my first 'proper' cycle since the mc. Have they told you to do a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks to check for a negative result? Xx

@HappyVibes everything I read said that exercise is only really a positive but just not to increase exercise regime during the TWW/ early pregnancy and to not let HR go to mental keeping it below around 170. If I hadn't completely given up the gym over lockdown I'd definitely be in there now, in my gym most people train until about 8months, I think it's great for your body and birth, but as with everything I think it's personal choice x

@Bl0ndi3 I think they just say FMU is just so they can monitor an increase if you always use SMU it will all be fine x

@Pugprincess ahh hopefully a bit of brown is not a bad sign, we definitely couldn't go without sex - we had it on the dining room table last night 😂

@Lollol86 I know it's hard but try not to worry about symptoms, I'm definitely guilty of this, but symptoms don't indicate a healthy pregnancy and no symptoms don't indicate an unhealthy one, just remember every pregnancy is different. Also most people that aren't tracking probably wouldn't even suspect pregnancy this early, I'm sure they'll hit you soon x

@ladysamee I think FRER are rare to give evap lines, I've used so many different tests over the past 2 months and honestly found CB the best to pick it up early and they have a terrible rep for evap lines! Does an inverted image pick up a second line?

I always inverted my pics early on...try not to panic and maybe try a CB x

Hi ladies,

First of all, I am so sorry for all of your losses. I hope you don't mind me joining... I had a MMC discovered at around 10 weeks after having seen a 'healthy' heartbeat at 7ish weeks (later, after a lot of fraught googling, I found out that the bpm of 110 was probably too slow). I had an ERPC on 17 July and AF (or what i assume was AF) arrived 3ish weeks later on 9 August, although I am now having some spotting so who knows what is going on really.

I was completely broken after the MMC - this was my first and very much wanted pregnancy. I conceived 5 months after coming off the pill and the first month of properly 'trying' (OPKs etc) and I sort of felt like I had jinxed things for being all pleased with my body for catching so quickly...I am 33 and had delayed trying for a year or so because I wanted to enjoy being married / travelling for a few years. Of course, now i feel like a selfish cow for putting it off and feel like it will never happen.

These threads have helped me feel so much less alone. I had never even heard of a MMC before. In fact, I only went in for the fateful scan because of a weird niggling feeling about the heartbeat being too slow and a general sense of something being wrong (I am in HK and private healthcare insurance covers this sort of thing).

@Northernsoul90 Yes, I’ve got to do a test in 3 weeks so sort of think that will be the starting point really and I’ll go back to the ovulation tests at that point.

@Fingerscrossedfor2021HK I completely understand how you feel-I felt like it was payback for been smug for not having any morning sickness etc! I think next time I’ll be hoping for the sickness/sore boobs/cravings etc! The more the better!!!

Sorry to the new people on the thread for finding yourself here. Give yourself time to grieve (really helped me process it) and start when you're ready. It's an awful time but you will find lots of support here 💞

Ladies who use CB OPKs - I did my first ever one this morning on CD8, does anyone know what the lines mean?
I've got the sad circle today but just curious what the lines mean. Attached a pic of mine - I'm curious as one of the lines is super dark and the other really faint.
I know it picks up estrogen and LH but just wondering which is which xxx

@Northernsoul90 I feel you so much with your situation girl. I am the EXACT same. Keep up with the CBD, and try to stay motivated until your static. I am really keeping my fingers crossed that we also don’t get lots of flashes (I used to get just 3/4 flashes, which felt like a nice level. Last month we got 10 flashes which was madness ha). I am doing the cheapies as well as the CBD, and I notice that although I am getting flashes on CBD, my cheapies are not indicating much going on. So I’m not 100% sure - although, granted I don’t feel confident with my understanding of the cheapies xxx

@MrsK21 hey lovely, I asked the exact same the other day. The advice from the other girls was that these ones aren’t necessarily intended to be interpreted. They shared that the line on the right is oestrogen, and the left is LH. Xxxx

@ladysamee I can definitely see lines! I've had so many faint positives! Wait a day or 2 and test again! You could have just implanted later than you thought.

@MrsK21 Yes I second what @HappyVibes says the right line is apparently Oestrogen and the other indicates LH surge, although I have had static smilies before and neither of the lines were particularly dark which is weird. I think you are just supposed to go off the monitor but I always have a look 🤣 xx

@HappyVibes I really don't get on with the cheapies - I had static smiley last time and dipped a cheapy in the same sample and it definitely didn't show as a peak so I think I'm just going to stick to cb. Do you just do one first thing? Or throughout the day? I tend to just do one with fmu and have always seen a static that way. Fingers crossed we both don't get loads of flashies 🤞🏼🤞🏼xx

@Rebecca1992 I didn't test this morning. I really wanted to but I decided to wee and go so I wasn't tempted. I really want to hold off now if I can. I keep looking at yesterday's test and telling myself it has dried out darker than the others but I think I'm just wishing and hoping. Dangerous game! I don't really believe it wouldn't have got darker but keep allowing myself to think it could still be there 🙄

@SmileyT if I’d have been drinking then I’d have spat it out in laughter 😂😂😂 love it.

I was watching that film knocked up awhile ago and she didn’t start throwing up till 8 weeks and I’ve heard that somewhere else too. My mum wasn’t very sick with me she said, think she was sick a couple of times but the rest of the time just felt a bit sick. I know others that have just felt a bit here and there and not had much so trying to keep the faith. Sounds like you can be sick and it can still go wrong. I’m still trying to hold out doing that other cb digital. I want to see 3+ weeks to check hcg progression. But I’m scared il get 2-3 weeks still. I’m trying to hold out till Sunday when I’m 6 weeks approx but I will still be pooping myself even then. My boobs don’t hurt but defo a bit bigger, maybe they are used to this part having only done it recently? X

@Northernsoul90 yeah hun I do just the FMU. I don’t do a follow up one because I drink a lot of fluids throughout the day, so I don’t think they are accurate throughout the day for me personally. Xx

Yes will just go off the reader as I know it works off your personal baseline.
So interesting @northernsoul90 that the same sample with a cheapie didn't give you a peak! I've got lots of cheapies so I will test this theory out for myself too. Like you, I drink loads in the day, need wee constantly thanks to the tiniest bladder in the world and the thought of holding is giving me a UTI just thinking about it. Hoping the CBs give me all the reassurance I need.
How are you tackling this month? OH and I have decided to try and go for a loose version of SMEP. I think you're just a couple days ahead of me cycle wise but I'm glad I know someone else in the thread who's on Cycle 1 after a god awful long wait for AF after mc xxx

@MrsK21 @HappyVibes I'm the same I drink loads of water and hot drinks in the day and get really bad headaches if I don't so I tend to just do the cb with fmu.

@MrsK21 I'm getting on okay, third flashy this morning on cd13 so I'm hoping to get static tomorrow or the day after as I'm planning on dtd every day whilst it's flashing! I don't want to not do it one day and then get the static the next morning and feel like I've missed so I really don't want 10+ flashies. DH has a physical job so he's going to knackered poor bugger 😂. Me too it's nice to know we are at similar points - my cycles before mc were 31/32 days and ovulation would be cd 19/20 but I decided to start opks earlier this first cycle in case things are different. Imagine if I still don't ovulate until then 🥴 10 plus days of dtd every day

@Fingerscrossedfor2021HK and @kittycat581 so sorry you find yourself here but it is a great place for tips and advice. I still haven’t had an af since my mmc but believe it should be due Monday. Although I have already started trying to conceive again. I will be testing on Friday I think so hoping for a miracle. Hey ladies thanks so much for all ur replies so sweet 💗. Just wanted to update u quickly as its been hectic few days and dont knownif I am coming or going. He left kn Saturday came home from fishing Saturday afternoon and I gave him the keys to his own house. Come to find out today as his old phone is still connected to apps and after hearing ping ping ping and wondering i found it and hes been talking to other girls these wur live message happening last night telling her she looks so good. So have packed all his stuff for him to pick up blocked him on everything and I am finished... heartbroken xx

Hi everyone just a quick update I have been up the EPU for hours. I had a scan they saw a small empty gestational sack. They aren’t sure if ectopic so they have done bloods and should know later depending on HCG levels. Will catch up with all messages then x
