@LAcain re cycles, mine got slightly longer I think after my first MC. But I wasn't tracking ovulation before, and only the one cycle after so I've no real idea what was going on. I think they can be a little off at first but eventually should come back to how they were before, just varies as to how long it might take.
Some of the others might have better explanations on this xx

@LAcain After my mmc at 8 weeks I didn't get a period for 8.5/9 weeks... I got my first negative hpt 6 weeks after mc and then ovulated a few days after that. Af arrived at 14dpo. This is now my first 'proper' cycle since the mc and it seems to have just reverted back to my old pattern as I've ovulated on cd19 which is the norm for me. I know it's not very helpful but I think it's just an individual thing and can depend on hormone levels, how far along you were at mc etc xx

@Runnergirl1 just a small glass a day, bottle lasts about 3-4 glasses. It is expensive but raved about 🍷🍷

@Northernsoul90 Fertility Friend/Femometer normally put in a cover line about 3 days after your temp rise when they can be sure you've had a sustained rise to confirm Ov. Bit of a wait, but you can normally see a trend develop before having it confirmed xx

@MrsK21 I think definitely if you aren't comfortable and you don't want to go then you shouldn't. Sometimes we get guilt-tripped into doing things we don't want or enjoy and ultimately it isn't fair to ourselves. Put yourself first in this situation ❤️. Have you got a pic of your chart? Xx

@Rainbowhope11 hey ☺️ glad you are okay!! That sounds like a brilliant plan. So happy for you that they have this all in place for you now. Does the prometrium work the same as Provera? Have you started taking it? Please let me know how you get on with the clomid! Xx

@LAcain it took 11 weeks for my cycle to come back but since then it seems to have sorted itself and ovulated at the right time

@VP91x you're right and I know I don't feel happy about going now and that's unlikely to change in the next 2 weeks. If I get a BFP in that time, I'd be too anxious as well.
Attached my chart - first half is crazy high with the heatwave I think and then seems to have settled into normal temps. I've disregarded a temp from couple of days ago as well as I had an awful nights sleep and kept waking up

@VP91x sorry I hit send too quickly. So from my chart I think hopefully I ovulated CD13 and this morning got a slight increase that'll hopefully carry on. But looking forward to your insight too xxx

@MrsK21 yes, I'd be pretty confident that you ovulated yesterday especially with your change in CM today. Yay!

Yes, it seems like the right choice for you. You need to protect yourself in times like these xx

@MrsK21 @Northernsoul90 Thanks for sharing your experience. my first AF post MMC came on CD30 and temps suggest I ovulated CD 19. I’m usually a 27 day cycle with Ov on day 13/14 so hopefully that comes back soon.

Thanks for new thread and including me on it I don’t want to speak too soon but I think I may have a BFP on my hands! 2 months now since my chemical pregnancy so I’m too scared to say for sure as I don’t want to jinx it! xxx

@LAcain I had a similar question about cycles regulating after a MMC. I had what I thought was AF a little over 3 weeks after an ERPC, I then spotted for a full 7 days afterwards. Pre-MC I had regular 28 day cycles and got my smiley face on the OPK on day 15. I started testing with OPKs on what I took as CD 10 this time around and I am now on CD 16 with nothing but blank circles. Difficult to tell whether I have EWCM as things are a lot 'drier' (sorry TMI) than they were pre-MC even though i have been mainlining grapefruit juice ever since AF left! All so frustrating (not to mention expensive, as i have been doing 2 OPKs a day - one with FMU and another after work). Ahh!

I am seeing a fertility acupuncturist and due to see her again on Thursday so will report back if she has any tips!

@Fingerscrossedfor2021HK try evening primrose oil supplements for the time after AF and up to ovulation. It’s meant to help cm. Worth a try, x

@Fingerscrossedfor2021HK definitely get some evening primrose oil, take 4000mg a day it'll make such a difference. I get mine from tesco £4.50 for 90 tablets, don't bother with an expensive brand! Xx

Brilliant! I would feel the exact same way too. It’s so reassuring to have the insight medically just to be able to have someone who is medically trained & a specialist help guide you along. & with TTC the hard part is not knowing what’s happening inside our body’s- until today for you 😊 You’re going to be ten steps ahead after today just from having all that insight. It sounds like you’re both thinking of it with a very balanced approach.

@VP91x I have not heard of primrose oil tablets before. Guess I’m too late to start those for this cycle as I’m on cd14. And hoping this is my month so pregnant this cycle but interesting to know.

How’s everyone this morning? I’m going for my run this morning to get back into a healthy habit after all the eating and boozing when OH was here lol.

Oh and a question about luteal phase / tbh I never knew about it pre MMC but I’ve read that shorter ones aren’t good. Can someone explain to me please?

And lastly, who else is with me on similar cycle days waiting for ovulation? I’m on cd14.

@Firevie I'm with you getting back to healthy ways - feel like a potato after my week away. It's peeing down here today so certainly no chance to get outside though

@MichT4 I hope your scan well for you today and brings some clarity.
I have just been for my 2nd scan after my ectopic scare last week and baby is there with a heartbeat. They say I am 6+1. I started spotting a little yesterday too but they suggested possibly some old implantation bleeding coming out x

@MichT4 Keep is updated. 💖. My temp has come up this morning to 36.00 from 35.76 so it should rise again over the next couple of days hopefully higher than what it was pre ovu is that right? I've attached chart pic xx

@Firevie Luteal phase should ideally be around 12-14 days, I think anything shorter than 10 days can cause issues for implantation xx
