Morning. Still wishing I knew precisely when I ovulated! I think AF is due to arrive today - last month it was towards the evening so we shall see.

Thankfully no AF cramps today so far. Does anyone else get af cramps a few days before AF is due and then nothing again until AF arrives?

We had a talk last night about things. We came to the agreement that we will see what options we have once we see the sub fertility clinic but we probably won't go onto ivf (suspect we won't get funding anyway).

I've been looking into the adoption side of things a lot more and I think it is where we are going to go. I've spoken to a few friends who have adopted and theyve answered some of my questions.

We both agree though that we would rather adopt than not have children. And that will probably involve sibling adoption.

I am now cd9 and got flashing smiley yesterday and today so potentially ovulation will be end of the week

@claireb7rg I'm pleased you've been able to discuss things and you think you could adopt. That would be fantastic. Do you know when your fertility appointment will be?

Not a clue unfortunately, no idea if there is a backlog either 😢

If we haven't heard within a month I think we might give it up and concentrate on adoption

No AF yet. I'm normally 26 days but last month was 27 days so maybe I'm due tomorrow rather than today 🤷🏻‍♀️

Two very clear BFN today so I'm definitely out. Just waiting for AF to arrive. I had what looked a bit like EWCM on CD15 so if I ovulated around then rather than earlier which I thought, then I could be looking at a 30 day cycle as I normally have a 15 day LP. Urgh. Would just like to move on now!

How is everyone else doing? Into fertile week soon?

Morning @kirinm sorry that you think AF is on her way! I think I should be in my FW this week but not using OPKs and trying to just read the signs of my body, had a little EWCM yesterday, I think I'll probably ovulate towards the end of the week (hopefully as we haven't DTD yet this week 😂) how's everyone else?

Ive avoided these boards for a couple of months as we started undergoing tests for fertility, turns out when you start doing things like that you get your BFP! I am so excited and just needed to share with people who understand ❤️

@whambam89 are you finding not using OPKs less stressful? I'm buying some today as the not knowing where I am in my cycle is too frustrating- typical that the one month I don't use OPKs my cycle changes 🙄

@kirinm at the moment it's much less stressful but I'm not sure how it'll be in the TWW! We'll see - I've started taking some different vitamins this month so it might change my cycle which wouldn't be ideal!

I suspect it's an indent especially because I did a FRER and that is a clear BFN. Annoying.

That’s annoying @kirinm I was like that in August, usually have a 28-29 day cycle ended up with a 33 day cycle I was so upset but knew I wasn’t pregnant as was just getting BFN.

@MrsB2019x that’s so weird cause I was talking to one of my colleagues yesterday and she said the exact same thing 😆

@whambam89 I tried doing no opks last month and it was just a hit and hope so I’ve started taking one a day from Sunday and will continue and then do 2 a day from next week 😅

I’m cd8 today nothing new, I’ve started taking pregnacare vitamins and my clear blue sticks arrived so will start trying them out next week 🤣 xx

Ugh rang the sub fertility clinic - we are on the urgent list but that's still got a potential 6-10 WEEK waiting list due to covid backlog. There is a chance that it will be shorter than that. They are waiting for consultant to review the referral but then they'll send out a letter to us with info about booking appointment.

Hate to think what the non urgent wait list is then

@kirinm Sorry for the BFN’s. There does look to be a line in that test you posted but it doesn’t seem to have colour 😔 are you going to test again tomorrow?

I think I ovulated yesterday judging by my nips 🤣 I’m going to try and not count how many DPO I am throughout the TWW though so I’m not obsessing. AF due 12th October

I started bleeding slightly, have cramps, & my boobs have stopped hurting, they were very painful this morning

EPU are giving me an “emergency” scan on Friday morning

I probably will test but only because I have no idea why AF isn't here. Starting to worry about peri menopause again 🙄 or maybe I didn't ovulate? If I didn't ovulate, I assume I still get some sort of bleed? My period returned 3 months after having my daughter and since then my cycle has never been longer than 27 days so this is really strange for me

Do you think your cycles could be messed up because of the chemical @kirinm? Did you test again this morning?

Sorry to hear you're still having concerns @Sansa87 - is it just light bleeding / spotting? I am sure everything is fine but hopefully the scan will help reassure you.

@MrsB2019x i've not tested this morning due to my DD being awake most of the night and me going to the toilet frequently. I will try to do one later. I don't feel pregnant at all. It could be that I ovulated later - possibly CD15/16 so in theory, AF could be due tomorrow but I don't really know. I don't think it is messed up because of the chemical although it could be - I was wondering if being sick could have messed things up a bit?

As I don't think I'm pregnant, I would just like AF to arrive so I can get on with the next cycle.

Have to say though, absolutely bloody typical that the one month I don't do OPKs is the month by body does something weird.

Tested and it's a very clear BFN but look at this indent! I've not seen one quite as obvious before. Really bad tests🙈

@kirinm Omg that is shocking! It’s tests like that which give poor ladies false hope ☹️

I know, there are some awful tests on the market - the sainsbury and tesco ones are really bad too.

Anyway, I'm feeling really crampy so hopefully AF will arrive soon!

@kirinm I've had the worst indents on so many different tests I've kind of given up on a positive being a positive until I get a good strong line.

I've caved and done an opk tonight and it's nice and strong but not as high as my "peak" on premom last month so I'm guessing I'm on track to ovulate Friday assuming I get peak tomorrow. We've not even DTD this week yet so I'm not feeling very hopeful for this month 😂
