I've not tried preseed yet... don't know if it's the grapefruit juice nor not but it's swimming down there on the fertile days already so don't want it anymore slippery 😂

LaceyMermaid · 26/08/2020 17:09

@BellaBella84 I’ve fallen out with opks this month as none gave me a peak! Just going by my bbt now
@Florence13 I can’t be 100% sure on DPO as I got no peak opks but I think I’m 8dpo according to bbt

BellaBella84 · 26/08/2020 17:39

@LaceyMermaid How were BBT during the heatwave, did it affect it much?

LaceyMermaid · 26/08/2020 17:44

@BellaBella84 funnily enough no! My temps were way way lower than now. So weird but clearly our body’s just get on with it!

Florence13 · 26/08/2020 17:53

@2020mission that made me giggle but feel you over here don’t think we need any more slippery stuff 😂

@LaceyMermaid aww fair enough at least you have temps to go by I haven’t even done that. Literally decided to take a more chill month as I’ve been so caught up on it all!

LaceyMermaid · 26/08/2020 17:59

@Florence13 I think that’s a good idea I’m thinking I might do that next month now I think I ov around cd16-18.

Franklydear · 26/08/2020 18:14

Hi, just finished work and so much chat today, nothing to report, no cramps or anything, just feel like a pressure in tummy area, but then I am working standing up and haven't been upright for so long in ages, I am still half-zen, just a few more days and then busy for the weekend, and after that I think I can test, if we get there

Franklydear · 26/08/2020 18:42

Here I am sitting on the bus, and a young lady has a newborn, maybe 3/4weeks...

Florence13 · 26/08/2020 19:07

@Franklydear hoping time passes quickly and you come back with a BFP soon! Seeing newborns really makes me want it more and more

Florence13 · 26/08/2020 19:09

@LaceyMermaid yes I do feel like it has taken the pressure off. Although it’s almost like my hubby has gone the other way, I said to him that I wasn’t going to track anything and he has been up for BDing like every day sometimes twice a day! I feel exhausted and sorry for the TMI

DKDK123 · 26/08/2020 19:55

@Juno231 I've got some ordered from amazon that arrived tonight. Did one tonight bfn but shall do another in the morn on FMU. Not holding my breath but at least it'd let me know for sure. I know AF will be late after a CP just wish it would hurry up so I could get onto the next cycle!

@splendidsqueak7 im the same as @Juno231 when I used it we tried it once in the bedroom and I felt it just killed the mood stopping to insert it so after that I just did it in the bathroom beforehand .....word of warning if youre doing that tho, make sure you know your partner is 100% up for it or you'll be lying in bed dripping while they fall asleep Ive made that mistake before 😂

Hopefully it'll be your turn soon @Franklydear, I think when youre ttc you seem to notice babies absolutely everywhere!

lucyrp · 26/08/2020 21:24

@Minster2012 thanks ! Lobe the email! I shall re write it tomorrow with correct (insert date) 😂 and maybe add some more bits in and see what happens!

@Franklydear I hate seeing babies now. Used to love it. Now I just cry ☹️

MrsEmilyB · 26/08/2020 21:47

Hi August beauties, just checking in! How are you doing @juno231 @Minster2012 @franklydear? ❤️❤️

Franklydear · 27/08/2020 05:27

Hi, @MrsEmilyB, just trying very hard to keep zen and not get my hopes to high, but either af is imminent, or this could be it, no normal cramps yet, next few days will be crucial, thankfully I’ll be busy away, so lots of distractions

Vil10 · 27/08/2020 07:51

Well CD13 here and flo is saying ovulation day on Saturday but going off previous cycles I think it's going to be more Monday, but I'm flapping because we havent DTD at all since Saturday and Sunday😩 I've been doing pt's at the gym and walking a lot more so I've been knackered so been falling asleep pretty much as soon as I get in bed, and OH has been working later than usual, I was hoping with taking a relaxed approach this month that it might actually happen for us but it can't when there's no swimmers in there, I'm so angry with myself!!

Minster2012 · 27/08/2020 07:56

@blodyn91 god I was wondering about the barn too, how f ing annoying. Bloody farmers! It will still be sat there for ages then ir some bloody developer grrrr

Glad you liked the email @lucyrp can't do any harm!

@splendidsqueak7 we did a mixture of putting pressed in beforehand in the bathroom & squeezing a bit on DH so whatever takes your fancy really I think! I'm a bit drier than the Sahara (blast from the past buses there ladies) 🐫🐪 from lots of medication so needed it we can't all be moister than an oyster like @2020mission 😂🤣💦💧

@DKDK123 I really hope your hormones start to play ball & you get a proper answer/AF or at least SOMETHING! @lucyrp too. Goodness. It's so crazy how miscarriages /CPs really fuck bodies up?! I totally never realised til I was the same.

Thank you for asking @MrsEmilyB im just taking my northisterone til Monday, then waiting for AF then starting the IVF meds fir couple of weeks then hopefully building a nice juicy womb lining. Well I'm hopefully doing that now...drinking assfruit juice 2 (pomegranate) eating lots of veggies.
DH & I still finding things rocky cos he's working so much. He went back to his office last night (he runs a business) & he informed me he's going in Saturday too which is tense as me and the other wives are discussing the fact the boys are having a boys day on Sunday & we were all (wives kids etc) meant to be going to one of their houses in the evening for a bbq to eat after (who has 3 kids under 4) which now the men are saying "you women can sort the kids we will just come back whenever". Er no. You come back & we can all be social TOGETHER you will have been gone since 9am can you not just commit to coming back at 5pm, 4 of you have got kids, most more than 1??? And he's saying he's not there Saturday too. It's making a very frosty atmosphere as I need time to chill out too??

Franklydear · 27/08/2020 09:30

@Juno231 I am very confused, I have creamy cm, with af due Saturday at the latest, normally a bit eatery at this point but not creamy, I don't know what I want you to say, if that helps 🤯

Juno231 · 27/08/2020 09:32

@Minster2012 and isn't it funny that when men do things women are expected to take the kids whereas it's a given that women do everything WITH the kids anyway? Eg if my friend's OH goes to the grocery store she has to take the kids but if she goes to the grocery store the kids go with her. Likewise if she meets with friends we're happy to see her with the kids but when he sees his friends it has to be men only...

@MrsEmilyB no news here really! 4DPO and just realised I've forgotten to take my supplements for an entire week, that's how convinced I am it's another dud cycle anyway lol. Had an ultrasound on Tuesday that came back clear and got my day 21 scheduled for next week.

@Franklydear fingers crossed for you - are you planning on testing?

@vil10 BD today and tomorrow and you'll be covered! Def not too late.

Franklydear · 27/08/2020 09:37

I'll test after the weekend, not sure which day, but I want to be proper late

Juno231 · 27/08/2020 09:38

@Franklydear well done - let's all channel @notyetamumbuttrying 's zen Halo

BellaBella84 · 27/08/2020 10:19

@minster2012 Moister than an oyster - love it! 🤣

LaceyMermaid · 27/08/2020 10:21

@Juno231 @Franklydear I’m channeling your zen! Snap on the CM, as I don’t know my cycle I don’t know if this is normal but I don’t remember it last month. I had a temp drop today but 9dpo so too early for AF I think. Maybe implantation but does that really happen? I’m feeling really meh as you can probably tell!

DKDK123 · 27/08/2020 10:37

@Minster2012 OH working too much and who's looking after DS are the only 2 things me and my OH tend to argue about too. I think men just don't get how physically and emotionally draining looking after a child can be and we need our time away, they think they have it hard if they work extra but work is far easier you at least get to pee in peace at work!

BFN for me this morning on FR, well thats not entirely true there was the squintiest of faints as in have to hold it all diff angles to see but the previous faints weren't squinters they were clearly there just looking at them straight away they just weren't dark as I'd like . Had I not had the previous faint ones I would have said straight up BFN today as I wouldnt have been holding it at all angles to check so I'm declaring it a negative. 3 chemicals in the past year, non have made it over the 6week mark so I think its time to finally admit defeat and get a drs appointment organised :( However day off today and my parents are coming for a visit, they live 2hours away so I dont get to see them all the time so that'll keep my mind off things. What's everyone else up to today?

Juno231 · 27/08/2020 10:40

@LaceyMermaid at 9dpo it's common for the temp to drop due to a secondary oestrogen surge caused by the corpus luteum. It doesn't mean it'll be a BFP but it IS more common on BFP charts apparently. I've had them before too :)
