Aw that's great it went @Juno231. Bit scary about the history if early menopause though. That's what I'm worried about 😬 no history with it but it keeps coming up when i Google cycles getting shorter

@Katao @Juno231 I am really feeling Meh about TTC too. I'm not even awaiting test day I literally want AF to turn up so I know I've had a normal cycle and get on with the next. Alas she hasn't turned up yet so another silly cycle for me so seems pointless to even think about TTC when its clearly off the cards for the forseeable 🙄 i can't reallt even say I'm trying at the moment as we're just having sex as and when we feel like it which isn't that regular.

@Katao the 21 day bloods need to be 6-8dpo I believe so whenever you have your peak OPKs that many days after

@katao I know what you mean - day 3 bloods would tell you if you had anything like that though so hopefully that will come back all clear!

@lucyrp I can't blame you, you've been in for a right rollercoaster ride with this. CD30+ is still relatively okay though so I hope that even though it's not your normal cycle that it will be a heck of a lot short than the previous one and at least it'll be on the right track back to normal.

@Juno231 Ohh we was gonna do Sicily!! But Bologna was super cheap, I went there last year with my sister and my son, our dad's side of the family is from there but my partner hasn't been there yet he's going to love the food! We will get a train down to Florence as well since we both haven't been there :)

@Minster2012 as above ^ lol I want to travel more of Italy but maybe next year. Last year we did Pisa and Bologna but I didn't like Pisa. We was supposed to be going Costa Rica for Christmas 😢 alas, next year it is!
It'll be nice to get away twice though, once loud and once quiet :)

Thanks @lucyrp I better get going with the opks so and see what happens there. Any symptoms either way? What did your opks tell you this cycle?

@Juno231 I'm actually really nervous about the day 3 results . Hopefully all ok. Where are you at so? All clear with day 3 bloods and scan and just need to redo day 21? Or anything else lined up?

@katao I have to go for day 3 bloods too, I have to wait till next month though silly me I forgot there wouldn't be a walk in service anymore! Just sat on hold for 3 hours to be told to ring back...
Do you think there is an issue? I'm worried about PCOS since I have polystic ovaries on a recent scan so need the day 3 bloods to check hor one levels and see if I do...
How long have you been trying and do you have any kids??

@Missgoldilocks ugh so annoying, there's always so much waiting. Same happened me last cycle by the time i got an appointment it was too late to do bloods and had to wait another cycle. Only 6 months , I'm definitely worried there is an issue as cycles are so irregular this time since coming off the pill. First took a year, cycles were a bit irregular then too but fairly predictable.

@Juno231 I think this is month 13 of TTC for me and oh so starting to take its toll a little. Yeah last cycle was 72 days so hoping this one isn't the same.

@Katao my OPKs hardly told me anything useful I had high readings for 10 days and I have up testing then 🙄

@lucyrp Groundhog Day. So did you do your complaint? And what now then? Month 13 what other testing can they do?

@Ladybird345 im doing IVF TTC second having had miscarriage after first try to me in March, I've been around with this lot since the beginning really & the IVF chat is v dull & we got pretty first during lockdown but I think a lot of us are getting pretty meh with it all atm & feeling a bit low tbh so sorry for the down days.

I'm having a blinder today...I got smashed in the face by my DS with a mop handle last night so I've got a corker of a black egg on my forehead & just had to wait 3 hours to get my IVF meds having driven the 35mins to get there & the irony of sat in the car park watching what must be basically teenage heavily pregnant ladies/girls smoking outside the "women's & children's hospital" as IVF is next to scanning & antenatal is not lost on me. As I left down a side street some guy stepped out across the road on his phone to get to his van so I swerved & knocked MY wing mirror BACK not his. I stopped to see if ok & he starts shouting at me & taking pictures saying he's going to sue me. I've already got a blinding headache from the northisterone let alone the forehead blow yesterday & got drenched in the rain this morning walking one dog who wanted to walk, one who didn't & a child who definitely didn't.

But tonight we have a child free night, we are having takeaway Japanese & I'm going to have a bath. Soon. And wine. Probably gin too. Fuck it. It's the weekend right?? 😂😋

@lucyrp I just googled what consistently high LH levels mean and it all says to investigate for PCOS or pituitary gland problems. Those are all day 3 bloods, so def get the detailed results back for the botched day 21 test if they tested some of this stuff in there?

@katao yeah all clear on day 3 and scan, just need the day 21 results back (which I'm expecting to be fine as well). Not sure what happens next? SA I think but not sure if hycosy would also be on the cards or if that step is a bit more random and not everyone gets it.

@katao oops sorry it's the one where they flush your tubes in case there's any blockage. Apparently it increases your fertility for 4 months after having it done!

How shit is it girls the amount of things that can affect pregnancy and fertility, it's an absolute shit show for us women, the men have it so easy!!

@Minster2012 my heart sank reading the you having to give consent for them to be destroyed if they're not good quality. I know scientifically its the only option but I totally feel for you even having to sign that, it must have your stomach in knots.....infact the whole IVF journey must have. Reading all of your posts is a real eye opener to the IVF journey as like ttc its not something many speak openly about and there does seem to be this thought that because there's medical intervention its a sure thing when it's not. You must have a very strong character to go thru IVF as it doesnt sound for the faint hearted!
What a day you've had, hope you gave the other knob driver a peace of your mind!

@vil10 100%!! If we fart sideways we either miscarry or fail to conceive. They can pretty much do anything they want and still have kids into their 80s lol. Sometimes I think about Pavarotti and how overweight/alcoholic he seemed yet still had twins when he was 67...

CN I rejoin? I was on the last thread but life caught up with me and I missed most of it. CD 28 for me and it's usually 27/28 days. I feel like I could be pregnant, I have a very sore stomach and no energy at all. If AF doesn't pitch up overnight I think I'll test tomorrow

@Juno231 ah yes, I've heard ofthatjust didn't know the name. Someone else here had that done didn't they?

@Juno231 yeah I'm sure they said they were all normal on my last bloods I had done and I asked about PCOS then. I've mentioned consistently high levels of LH and they've said they're nothing to go off because OPKs are shit basically. And the 21 day bloods she read through the levels to me and said they were all fine.

@Minster2012 I haven't composed the email yet. I hAve no idea 😭

@Juno231 good news about you ovulating, that’s one thing ticked off!

@Missgoldilocks did you start taking soy isoflavones this cycle?

@Juno231 it's so unfair isn't it!! They just throw a mix up us and then hope for the best, don't have to worry, do anything else just wait for us to tell them we're pregnant, and like you said, they have no time frame they have children whenever!!
