Hoping for sticky bean.

I knew you wouldn't listen @candycrush2298, this whole trying to and then managing to get pregnant is such an emotional drain isn't it. I really think schools should be more honest that not everyone gets pregnant as easy as looking at a boy and that once you do get pregnant you will worry that it will go OK!! I want to get excited about my 2 lines, I just can't at the moment. I am relieved I wasn't making up my symptoms though. Tbh I actually feel good at the moment, my boobs aren't sore, I'm not really feeling sick and apart from being tired I have no real symptoms at the moment - which is why I needed to test to put my mind at rest!

Ive tested negative today and a slight temp drop so writing this cycle off. Going to buy some soy today and give that a whirl.

My day off today consists of food shopping then absolutely nothing.
Yeah i guess AF will be towards to end off the week now, my apps never change it even though ive adjusted the settings.
If im 13dpo today and testing negative im definitely out regardless ugh!

When is your expected ovulation?

@Welliedays hahaha!!! Yes it is is such a roller coaster of emotions. How long do you have to wait until you have passed the stress of a chemical? A week or 2 after AF was due?

Glad the symptoms aren't killing you yet, maybe you will be exceptionally lucky and have a breeze of a pregnancy xx

I agree with schools, I think the reason women possibly feel ashamed that they aren't conceiving is because in school you learn that if you have unprotected sex you will get pregnant. Then as you get older you see everyone having kids and but you're not so you just feel useless because you can't do what your teacher said in school will happen.

I am not ashamed that I am ttc and struggling thats not it at all. I just hate all the questions like wow thats a long time have you actually seen a doctor I think you should. Its like well yes Karen I have thank you very much. And no matter who you tell the conversation usually always ends in "just keep trying it will happen, dont stress that will prevent it" which grates me and makes me so fuming I could punch them in the face. I wouldn't really haha but I want to. Its like I have just poured my heart out to you and thats what you say back- so thats why I don't really tell everyone. Not because of any stigmas or societal means but becuase I always walk away feeling 10 times worse then before I spoke to them.

@Kaybobx awwww I am so sorry about your negative that just absolutely blows I was so freaken hopeful for you this cycle. Really gutted.

Sounds like an amazing day off, I am so tired from going back to work and having busy weekends the last few weekends I am just doing nothing today. Just want to chill on the couch and channel surf 😂😂😂

Predicted ovulation is Wednesday, but since today was the first day of finding my estrogen rise and entering my fertile window I think this will be a 26 day cycle which would mean I more likely to ovulate Friday. But we will see

@Elakiya I really can't go based of my cm. Today its stretchy but very thick and very white so cannot tell you if thats unfertile cm or ewcm mixed with semen lol!!! Which is why I just use preseed in case 😂😂😂😂

It’s difficult for anyone to relate to us unless they themselves have struggled with infertility, I don’t know anyone else that has. I do have friends with PCOS but none of them want kids yet so can’t discuss with them either.

@candycrush2298 have you always ovulated around the same time? Mine vary massively during my 3 cycles of tracking this was the day of my first peak
Cycle 1: day 21
Cycle 2: day 15
Cycle 3: day 18

@Elakiya I know people that haven't experienced it just dont know what to say which I understand but I have also learnt that its best not to chat to them about it because they just wouldn't understand.

@Elakiya I vary between a 24-26day cycle so I normal ovulate CD12-14 which determines how long my cycle will be haha. They are times when I have outliers like that one month I ovulated on CD11

@candycrush2298 i have an interview at the end of the month (cant remember if i mentioned) would be great to get the job but would also mean I'd have to put the baby making on hold as i wouldn't get any maternity pay which we couldn't manage without. Ugh life is just a pain sometimes!

I love lazy car crash tv on a Sunday, i like don't tell the bride in the mornings then all the come dine with me and four in a bed haha!!

@candycrush2298 it’s really sad though isn’t it. The fact that no one around us can really offer the emotional support we need. Thankfully now we have the internet and can connect to people that are also struggling but without this support group I don’t know how I would survive this

Lol i don't even end up watching anything just playing on my phone lol. I am still in bed at this time and my husband just brought me up waffles and ice cream with a cup of tea - how sweet for breakfast in bed. I didnt really feel hungry or like anything sweet for breakfast but the thought was grand and I ate it anyway lol!!

Yeah not too long I think, can never truly guess what a body will do though lol!!! Lets hope this soy thing works out lol

@Elakiya here is my chart @Kaybobx has not dropped like mine. Yours looks like your normal fluctuations. If it rises tomorrow I wouldnt be concerned. If it drops below the coverline then we can stress lol

@Elakiya its pretty common to have waffles and ice cream for breakfast to South Africans just as much as bacon and eggs or French toast lol!!! Think waffles are an American traditional breakfast and Soutb Africans took it and adapted it 😂😂😂

I wish I was South African @candycrush2298, I am totally OK with ice cream for breakfast. After waking up at 7 I am still in bed too, except getting out for poas this morning and going to the loo again and making my breakfast ahah. My husband had decided I should be careful now to make sure it definitely sticks so he has banned me from tractor work as its quite bouncy along the roads (we'll see how that goes with harvest around the corner)... I mean, he's been extra cautious bless him - I know that bouncing around on a tractor will make absolutely no difference to how sticky the little bean is! He was a bit annoyed I tested this morning, but he knew I was doing it. He also said I shouldn't have bothered as it was obvious I was going to get a positive with my symptoms. Men just don't get it do they 😂

@candycrush2298 thank you. Yeah I'm sure it would be at least 6 months for any kind of pay. Where i am now is really really good maternity pay hence why ive stayed so long but i literally can't cope with these shifts anymore and PG clearly isn't happening.

@Elakiya I still havent had a deep fried Mars bar I tried one once in America and it was awful so I havent mucked up the courage to try to Scottish version. I love sweet things too but I am also extremely fussy I eat like a 5 year old 😂😂😂 so cannot be eating at fancy restaurants because I wouldnt eat anything on the menu lol!!!!

@Kaybobx its so tough to make these decisions though isnt it like you can't put your life on hold forever but at the same time you don't want to stop trying. Its such a catch-22 but for me personally I think if you are unhappy in your job then you should try and move on becuase you spend so much time there you know. But thats me and my opinion everyone is different.

Lol its not ice cream its waffles with a bit of ice cream on the side - no one whacks out a magnum for breakfast. Well maybe they do but I don't 😂😂😂

@kayboxbx maybe it's your job which isn't helping you conceive so changing job may be what you need... Which would be worth the 6 month pause over potentially never managing to conceive in your current job? Especially with rubbish shifts etc. I really hope that whatever happens you end up happier and with a BFP!

@snapple21 looking at your chart I can see you had a big dip at 4dpo again yesterday but both times you came back up it also looks like your luteal phase temps overall are higher than your follicular phase which definitely appears that you have ovulated.

@Welliedays lol waffles for dessert is normal in SA you will find it on the dessert menu in many restaurants with ice cream and sometimes Mars bar pieces and chocolate sauce. There is even a restaurant that specialises in waffles with loads of toppings to choose from you can even build your own but they are always served with ice cream or cream. Waffles are not served with salty things like bacon lol that reminds me of Waffle house in America 🤢 maybe I am just a weirdo lol!!!
I am not eating bacon with a Belgian chocolate waffle 😂😂
