@Elakiya I agree I also think they are way better than the ebay cheapies that are so thin and terrible. So I will buy them again.
Lol I did that so many times. Hahahaha I know the feeling.

OK whoop whoop can't wait to hear what Fridays test says.

@Kaybobx hahahaha yeah you are really early and those are terrible tests 🤣🤣🤣

17days wow thats really good though to have such a long luteal phase I am jealous hahahaha!!

Lol I think because no scientific studies have actually been done on it to see the effectiveness so doctors cant recommend what desperate ttc women do🤣🤣

@Elakiya oh wow how nice of the original poster to share with you what she used. I keep seeing COQ10 but the ubiquonal (excuse my spelling lol) version as thats best but haven't done any actual research on it just what I keep seeing people say they took when they got their BFP but yeah never seen soy Isoflavones until you mentioned it hahahaha!!!

The other vitamins are in my pregnacare vits so not too phased about those.

Lol I would never complain if I had twins but I would be eternally grateful if I got my bfp hahahaa regardless of it theres one or two in there 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 12:04

@candycrush2298 I might get some easy at home tests. These tiny blue things i doubt actually do anything 😂

Is a long luteal good?? Id much rather a shorter one haha

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 12:14

@Kaybobx whahahaha I know even in all the squinters I have looked at I havent seen early bfps on those tests not sure why I even bough them 🤣🤣🤣🤣 probably because they cheap🤣🤣

Yes a long luteal phase means your body gives the egg enough time to travel down to its destination. A short luteal phase is what causes all sorts of problems. Anything between 11 and 17days is normal and good. But obviously longer is better lol!! But as with anything too long is also a problem lol longer than 18days would be a issue and could be hormone imbalance and all that. So yours is still normal and good 🤣🤣

Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 12:24

@candycrush2298 oh gosh I'm literally borderline ok then, one more day and I'd have an issue ekk!!

I did a couple of those cheapies alongside the easy@home opks and they barely showed anything against my blazing tests. Probably best i just throw them haha

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 12:36

@Kaybobx yeah but also bare in mind that you have a few days of positive opks there's no way to know which day you ovulated only that you did (confirmed by bbt) so you could be less dpo than you think you are. I would definitely say that the last two months those cheap opks probably missed your real peak and therefore you were off by a few days of ovulation. The most likely scenario is that you weren't actually 17dpo.

Yeah I havent touched that pack of pro matris opks after that disaster with the pg tests lol!!!

The pg tests of easy@home are also nice broad and sturdy. Definitely the higher end quality as far as strip tests go lol!!!

Welliedays · 11/08/2020 12:36

@candycrush2298 what does the box look like of the soy things you've got? I might get some ready for next month!!

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 12:43

@Welliedays Tesco only has one brand so at least you won't get confused lol

@candycrush2298 where do you get your easy at home PG tests? Im being dumb but can only find OPKs on amazon

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 12:52

@Kaybobx I bought them from Amazon but it looks like they out of stock guess they are a big seller lol. That sucks sorry hun. Other good brands are Wondfo but if you anything like me I want that one and not another one lol!!!

OP posts:
candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 12:54

@Kaybobx currently only ones in stock are the 50opks and 20pg tests but doubt you need more opks

Checking in guys

6dpo

TMI alert. Weird milky pure white discharge today in pants. Black underwear so it’s very obvious. Any ideas?

Definitely think I’ll buy the soy next cycle!

PinkRoseFlower · 11/08/2020 13:26

Fingers crossed your tests turn to bfp's in the next few days @Kaybobx and @Elakiya.

You seem all set for your new cycle now @candycrush2298! Really looking forward to seeing if this soya things works for you! I so hope they do! Sending positive vibes your way!

When is everyone else testing? I am still holding out until Thurs or Fri. I still don't feel any symptoms... Apart from being very grumpy and sensitive the past few evenings which is typical PMS! 😂

Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 13:29

@candycrush2298 ive just read the reviews on the wondfo ones, they dont look too bad. Some people have posted photos next to the cheap blue ones with faint lines and the one stop ones with nothing.
Ive brought some of those haha.
I have millions of opks so didn't want to waste £15 on easy@home

Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 13:31

@PinkRoseFlower thank you! Im with you on the grumpiness and being sensitive. I think thats just me in general though haha

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 13:46

@NamechangeTTC that is typical progesterone (post ovulation) CM so you are all good. CM isn't any indicator of pregnancy unfortunately but at least you know for sure you are in the luteal phase. Good luck I am so excited to see if you get your BFP!!

@PinkRoseFlower thanks hun let's see if this works out hahahaha I am always keen to try these new things lol!!!

Ooooh getting so close to test day can't wait to see!!!

@Kaybobx ooooh that's a really nice comparison with the wondfo vs stupid one step ones. Yeah I have read excellent reviews on them. So think you have a great alternative to easy@home. Let us know they go please tell you going to test with one of them tomorrow eeeep can't even wait!! And yeah totally agree wouldnt want to spend another £15 either lol!!!! I am soooo excited I love this time of the TWW when everyone starts testing!!!! Eeeep!!!

NamechangeTTC · 11/08/2020 13:51

I couldn’t find any cheapies that would arrive this week Sad

Kaybobx · 11/08/2020 13:59

@NamechangeTTC we use Amazon Prime. If you dont have it you can get a 30 day free trial and cancel after if you wont be using it. I literally buy everything on there so its worth having for me.

@candycrush2298 i love this week when everyone starts testing too. We are defo due some luck in this group!!
I'll let you know how tomorrow's test goes.

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 14:10

@NamechangeTTC exactly what @Kaybobx said we use Amazon Prime for everything 🤣🤣🤣 I watch loads of series and hubby and I order so much from there that Prime is perfect for us. Hubby also gets loads of things for his gaming with the his Prime membership - who knew lol!!! We also get Amazon photos with unlimited cloud storage to store all our photos since we both into photography the cloud comes in handy and its all part of prime hahaha and I get one free ebook a month with it too. So yes definitely use the shit out of my Prime lol!!!

@Kaybobx its all so exciting!! Yes this group needs a shower of baby dust and we need some bfps!!! Ooooh OK thank you eeep can't even wait I am just so hopeful for you!!

Can't wait to see those pretty pink lines ladies😍

OP posts:
NamechangeTTC · 11/08/2020 14:20

Oh I use prime too. I just couldn’t find any that said they’d measure at 10ul rather than 20 so didn’t order.

I have 3 femometer early ones and 6 frer sitting.

candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 14:29

@NamechangeTTC I think wondfo is early cant remember been a while since I searched those lol. But yeah if easy@home was in stock those would have come tomorrow. The femometer ones you have are they the strip tests are the proper tests in plastic casings? If they the cheap strip ones go ahead and play with those when you ready to test lol!!! At least you have FRER those are your best shot at detecting early but they expensive so hate wasting those lol!!

OP posts:
PinkRoseFlower · 11/08/2020 14:45

Has anyone tried pg tests from home bargains before? I was going to nip there tomorrow for some stuff and thought I may as well pick up some cheap tests but not sure if they are any good. Will probably order a pack of frer on amazon too.

Elakiya · 11/08/2020 14:55

@PinkRoseFlower Thanks, although I am not so sure as my cervix and I vaguely remember reading a post from @candycrush2298 saying it should be high and soft was it? Cramping as well so I can feel that AF is due very shortly.

Elakiya · 11/08/2020 14:57
  • as my cervix is low and hard
candycrush2298 · 11/08/2020 15:03

@PinkRoseFlower yeah I have used them they seem perfect actually. If you use the just check i bought both brands they have one of them is a single test for £1 which is 6days early (they are 10miu) and then there is a twin pack also for a £1 and they are 20miu I bought both and think they are great no evaps or indents when I emptied out my bathroom bin I saw the tests a few days later and they had absolutely no evaps on both so I would say go for it. I know @Kaybobx has also used the 3 strip test pack for 69p and think those were OK as well? So go for it grab them lol!!!

@Elakiya according to Dr Google it should be high soft and closed. But I have read many many posts where women said they had their bfps and only at about 6/7 weeks into their pregnancy did the cervix actually go high again.
So if yours is low dont feel bad you're not out and if it is high then that's excellent news!!!
Really really hoping AF isn't going to show for you xx
