@blodyn91 congratulations!!! Omg I'm so excited! So so happy for you!! 🥰🥰🥰 as if this was your last cycle and you got it! Eeeek!

@Ltay2 thank you I will keep on!

@ZannaB Ive got an emergency appointment for Friday so yes!

Newbie0818 · 05/08/2020 10:34

Well I feel crappy 😖 I mean I get the pcos makes things hard but I really thought with the inositol bringing ovulation forward this month might be better :/ I just feel like ffs it's been a year now pretty much, we've been DTD every other day and every day around ov the past few cycles, surely by now I would have had something at least?! Genuinely worried that I can't have children. I'll see my gp next month about it for further tests, but what could be the issue now? Is my uterus hostile? Gah so frustrated! 😭 i know others have worse issues with it and try for longer but being fairly young still I just feel like a failure.

@lucyrp oh no! You're not having much luck are you :( hugs 💕

@2alreadywantanother @Florence13 @ZannaB thank you x

@Juno231 sorry about the bfn, though still not out 🤞🏼

@blodyn91 yay congrats! 🎉🎉 enjoy the bubble :)

Franklydear · 05/08/2020 10:55

@blodyn91 wow, so happy for you, also, selfishly cheered me up, as my own deadline is also fast approaching, and I had an awful thought yesterday, if I had fallen when I first try, baby would have been born already... but you gave me hope again

mumof23188 · 05/08/2020 11:04

Massive congratulations 🥳 sooooo happy for you!! @blodyn91

so many BFPs already 😁

notyetamumbuttrying · 05/08/2020 11:14

@lucyrp yeah I need fo change my day 21 bloods as well! I was also gonna get day 3 ones done this month too but think I'll now be on holiday by then. Almost hoping we don't get to go abroad now and we can hang around at home until the appointment and then go off somewhere in the uk. Never thought I'd want that lol!
Oh sorry to hear about your tooth hun!
@blodyn91 congrats 🥳
@Newbie0818 feel the same as you hun, 11 months and always dtd in FW and ov and nothing! I don't even have pcos (to my knowledge).

2020mission · 05/08/2020 11:15

@Franklydear I was thinking the same thing... I started TTC in January so next month I could have had a baby here if it had happened. In a way, I'm ok with that not being the case though as the virus has delayed everything by months meaning we haven't moved into a house yet which I'm hoping to do before it happens!

@Newbie0818 I feel like a hypocrite to say this given that I have lost hope in myself 😂 but try to remember the chance each month is around 20% and you've maybe just been unlucky! Hopefully when you see the GP though they can give you something to help things along. I honestly can't imagine what it's like to just try and have things stick first time... some people don't realise how lucky they are!

Has anyone else had their husband say "we can just keep having unprotected sex, and hopefully it will happen one day". They have no idea that we can't just casually try. The cycles are torture and we would constantly be thinking about pregnancy as you can't simply go about your day to day life... eating anything you want, drinking as much as you want, not taking folic acid, exercising a lot... there's so many things you need to watch when trying.

Juno231 · 05/08/2020 11:17

@2020mission Keep your FMU in the fridge until 5pm! Just remember to let it get back to room temp before testing. I know what you mean though - I'm glad we're going away tomorrow so if I get a BFN I'll have enough to occupy my mind with so as not to just mope around all day!

2020mission · 05/08/2020 11:18

@Juno231 ohh didn't know you could do that. Would need to hide it well though I think my husband would freak if he knew I had put that in the fridge 😂

Quercus3 · 05/08/2020 11:20

@blodyn91 ahhh amazing news, congratulations! So exciting that it's just happened in time. How wonderful.

@Newbie0818 I'm so sorry you're feeling rubbish, I hope the doctor's will be able to give you some answers very soon XX

SmileyT · 05/08/2020 11:20

Ahhhh @blodyn91 I'm so bloody excited, this is honestly the best news 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 big congratulations 🥳 🥳 can definitely see it, I knew your non- textbook chart would follow suit with mine x

Omg @blodyn91 that's so exciting!! Especially after all your wedding drama 😁

blodyn91 · 05/08/2020 11:42

thanks all, OH doesn't believe it. Wont be joining a grad bus till I've taken my frer 😅
@Juno231 my IC was stark white on Sat (10dpo on femometr). So just keep an eye on your bbt.

NotSoPatientlyWaiting · 05/08/2020 11:45

Congratulations @blodyn91 amazing news!!

Hope GP can provide some answers @Newbie0818. Its really frustrating I know!!

@2020mission I swear against all the shoes in my cupboard that when I'm a mum (positive thinking) I will never utter the most hated of sentences "it'll happen the moment you stop thinking about it"
Arghhh I will slap the next person who says that to me, as they sit there with their 10 children frocking about their feet!

NotSoPatientlyWaiting · 05/08/2020 11:45

frolicking *

Katao · 05/08/2020 12:19

@Newbie0818 I'm sorry you are feeling so low. You don't need to compare to anyone else, you are entitled to feel how you feel. Pcos must add so much extra stress around tracking and I'm sure you have had less chances in that year than average with long cycles. What's holding you back from going to the gp? A friend of mine was told because of pcos to give it 3 months ttc and then come back for help if it didn't happen and she is only 30. I know you are doing everything you can but with a diagnosed fertility issue surely you should have more medical support? I don't mean to sound pushy, it's just awful to hear how negative you sound and I don't think you should be left to sort it out yourself.

Newbie0818 · 05/08/2020 12:21

@notyetamumbuttrying it's so hard to be patient isn't it 😔

@2020mission totally. And yeah my dh says that although I think he's now started to realise that I'll be help as he has mentioned ivf and that, possibility of private etc. Bless him. He's a lot less in a rush though, I'm so impatient lol.

@Quercus3 @NotSoPatientlyWaiting
thank you x

Newbie0818 · 05/08/2020 12:25

@Katao sorry have just seen your reply!
Thank you for your kind words. Well when I got my diagnosis the doctor said they wouldn't help me until around 18 months, but I'm just not having it. I've just been waiting for 12 months as that's the standard for pcos, but my husband is really annoyed at how insensitive the gp was as he heard what she said on the phone to me and he said it sounded a bit rude. I'll go to his doctor this time round as he's the one that got me the blood test for the pcos. We'll see x

Katao · 05/08/2020 12:39

@Newbie0818 definitely see the gp youwill get the best support from. Honestly some gps have no empathy at all! I'm sure you will get there in the end. Hugs x

Newbie0818 · 05/08/2020 12:43

Thank you lovely @Katao

Af is officially here. In a way I'm glad as the first two days are the heaviest and it would've been awful to have to deal with that on hikes this weekend! Will definitely be getting plastered on my anniversary champagne now 👍🏻

MrsCrumbtious · 05/08/2020 12:59

Huuuuge congratulations @blodyn91🎉🎊👍🏼😎

So sorry Af got you @Newbie0818 😔 enjoy all that anniversary champagne 😘. Definitely speak to a more sympathetic G.P and fingers crossed they will get the ball rolling for you

@NotSoPatientlyWaiting Haha yes I’ve vowed never to say that too and also had to restrain myself several times when people said “we struggled to get pregnant, it took us 4 months so know how you feel” 😂😂😂

@2020mission I know exactly what you mean. My DH asked “why don’t we just let it happen romantically” (dtd our usual once a week) Would have thought he’d remembered how long it took us last time around 🙄

lucyrp · 05/08/2020 13:00

Sorry I'm at work ladies so sorry if I've not replied to someone but haven't got time to reply reply but just done an OPK in the loo and I'm wondering if I may have already ovulated on CD14/15 is it possible to ov without CB picking it up ? Pic attached

How is he gonna give you the goods?? August 🚌 Bitches
ZannaB · 05/08/2020 13:06

@Newbie0818 hooray to the champagne - enjoy it and happy anniversary! And echoing @Katao, sometimes comparison can be a real bitch but you are 100% entitled to your feelings.

@NotSoPatientlyWaiting I totally agree! The completely unhelpful things people say can be just mind boggling.

LaceyMermaid · 05/08/2020 13:10

Sorry @Newbie0818 I hate that you’re feeling so down about it all 😘
See @Juno231 what @blodyn91 said! 10dpo early so use some of that positivity you had for others a few days ago on yourself!

notyetamumbuttrying · 05/08/2020 13:35

@Newbie0818 it is when you don't know if somethings wrong or not! I can't get through to the hospital either to change my blood test date 😖 need to book in my day 3 one as well!
Sorry to hear AF arrived but yay to celebrating your anniversary with champagne and a trip! Have the best time!!
I'm due on close to our first wedding anniversary and trip away. Just hope I'll be over the inevitable foul mood once AF rears her ugly head!

Juno231 · 05/08/2020 14:05

@LaceyMermaid @blodyn91 haha you're both right. I just like to ease myself into the BFNs so I don't get my hopes up too much in advance!

@Newbie0818 I'm sorry, I don't even know what to say to make it better as I know how you feel :/ I do agree though 12 months is not uncommon even for people with no problems at all, they've just been unlucky with that roll of the die each month.
