Hi ladies can I get your opinion on my cycle please? So me and DH are trying for our 1st and we've been on/off about it for 3 years. This month it all started as a normal month, FW came and went and we made the most of it 😂 however, CD24 came around and I got a ton of EWCM- it was really odd and exactly like ovulation so I did an OPK and it was at peak! I'm so confused because I could've sworn I ovulated earlier in the month (I don't track properly anymore as it was too stressful) After some reading online, i found that OPK's apparently don't see the difference between LH and HCG...I'm now CD30, AF was due yesterday and I'm scared to test because I can't face another BFN- anyone had anything similar? Sorry for the long post 😄

@NotSoPatientlyWaiting argh these men can be so frustrating can't they! I've told mine today to read the pamphlet that came with the pot and to book the appointment. He's read it but I've not heard him on the phone yet. I'm gonna keep badgering him until he does it, but not too much this week as haven't ov'd yet so still need him lol!

@Juno231 and @2020mission I feel the same as you ladies! 11 months of absolutely nothing and never had a bfp before either. I keep thinking I'll be within the year mark and I'll get my bfp this month or next. I have to stop myself coz I'll just be crushed if I don't! 🥺

@notyetamumbuttrying 10 months for me and onto cycle 11😔 I am starting to think it won’t happen, also I am nearly 43, few weeks away, only good thing is my periods are starting to look normal, in length and amount, last cycle and this , so maybe it took this long to regulate again after the pill, I won’t track anymore, I get to invested and then devastated, but will dtd and wait for af instead, and see if it happens

@Franklydear hopefully if your cycles are regulating then I’m sure you have just as much chance as the rest of us hun. Hang in there.

@Franklydear it's pretty shit I won't lie! It's my cycle 12 but month 11 now. Positive that your cycles are regulating again now! I think what you've said is the best way to be! I've got one more FRER left so once that's used I'll just wait to greet AF every month rather than wasting money testing early. Do you think you'll seek medical help or not?

CD1 for me today, AF arrived in all her glory last night. I've just worked out we started trying in June last year so this is month 15 ☹️ even with my MMC which discounts the months between Dec and Feb it's still 12 months of disappointment.
Think I'll give myself a few more months then make an appointment at the doctors.

As you can tell I'm feeing a bit sorry for myself lol. Sorry for the moan. Onwards and upwards, will keep popping on to see who else gets their BFPs but into the boring bit of the cycle so won't have much to post about.

Solidarity @Clairey844! I'm trying not to wallow but to be honest cba giving myself the usual pep talk today! I'm trying to just funnel my annoyance into being productive. Have to say though I do find this thread helpful on days like this. It's nice checking in with everyone and we are always a mix of places in cycles and good news and bad news so it sort of puts it into perspective.

So sorry to hear the witch landed @Clairey844 and bfn @Katao After ttc crumb #1 for 4 years I know how shit it is to be disappointed every month and not know why it’s not happening.

Guessing it’s going to take us a while again to get a BFP plus the fact that I’m 36 and Mr Crumb is 40 time isn’t exactly on our side.

Maybe there’s something in that theory about red wine and lining worth a try next month if we’re not successful

@Katao I suppose Im not out till AF arrives, I ovulated CD20 this month which is pretty late so its a longer cycle, also 4 days after OPKs showed LH surge, goes to show that you need to keep dtd during the first week of the tww. My LP is usually 11 days, so if no AF tomorrow/ Thursday I'll start getting excited. If I wasn't away at my parents I would probs test tomorrow, buy I left my frer at home after a BFN on Sat (that was 7dpo not 10) 🙈
I have started symptom spotting and I have a lot of CM on my pants, keep thinking its AF. No idea if its normal before AF or not 🙈

I posted that early @Katao sorry about the BFN. But with a short cycle this time Hopefully your body has adjusted back to normal!

also @LaceyMermaid I think it is good to have a full cycle before a BFP. I work with cows, and you always want to make sure they are cycling first before putting them to the bull. I like to compare humans to cows 🤣😆

@notyetamumbuttrying I should technically OV around CD14 which was yesterday if I'm going by a 28 day cycle but if it's CD16 then that's fine for a 30'day cycle so il be glad about that! Fingers crossed for tomorrow 👀

@Cocoblue22 feeling slightly better now although these flashing smileys are definitely laughing at me and pissing me off! I'm hoping for a peak tomorrow like really hoping as then that's me ok track or should be for a normal cycle again. I definitely do need to go all Lucy but as much as I hate to say it all of this seems to be taking its toll on me as I'm really not as horny as I normally am 😭

@notyetamumbuttrying no trying for no.2. I have a 2.5yr old who we conceived within a few months off the pill. Haven't been on any form of contraception since and got my periods back when she was 13months old despite still breastfeeding. Think I just assumed it would be as easy as it was the first time lol

Hi ladies, can I add myself to the multitude of new posters please? Been lurking for a couple of threads and finally got my courage up to join .

Been TTC #1 since June 2019, had one CP (Oct) and one MMC (early march), currently in the TWW with cycle whatever-it-is-now and tbh, feeling in need of a place to talk! OH is wonderful but he doesn't really want to talk about TTC all the time haha. AF apparently due 13th Aug... I've found since the mmc my pms symptoms have gone nuts, I used to get a couple of days of sore boobs and some cramps but now it's two bloody weeks of sore boobs and I get the early pregnancy heightened sense of smell thing every damn cycle! Am I alone in this?!
