@Jazper @SmileyT thank you! It's so nice having a little cheer squad behind you.
Yeah I'm pretty relaxed to be honest. I'm sort of exhausted worrying about it all at the moment. Of course I'm hoping for a super peak tonight or else!

@SmileyT glad you are all good - time away from the phone isn't a bad thing. Nice to have a quiet day too. I feel snoozy at my desk today - wasn't ready to get up this morning.

@2020wish sorry you aren't feeling great. Did you have a nice birthday? Did you tell anyone?
xx

VP91x · 27/07/2020 10:25

@SmileyT aw good I'm glad all is okay! Normally when a chatty person goes quiet I worry that something has happened. Ooh, any reason it has gone quiet? Nice to have a lazy sunday and no phone!🥰

Ladies just had my GP appointment and it was really positive. She confirmed that my bloods would also be in line with having PCOS. She has referred me to the the gynaecologist, I have an appt on 16th Sept! Much quicker than I thought. I'll have bloods this month to check if I have actually ovulated. She said they would be able to put me on Metformin/Clomid to help depending on what they think is best. So, feeling positive that I can try this month and then September I'll see the gynae if nothing has happened. Xx

Morning everyone, hope you are all good apart from the awful weather ☔️☔️

@VP91x Just seen your update, that sounds really positive - I'm glad they've got you in quite quickly and it seems like you have a good plan in place 😊 so happy that you are feeling positive! Xxx

@Jazper I am good thank you, I think I am 3/4dpo today so in the tww 🤞🏼. I've started taking the calc Fluor and have been drinking Pom juice so will just have to wait and see what happens. I'm going to give it until about the 6th or 7th of August and if af doesn't appear do a test. If no bfp or af I'll have to contact my GP as I won't have had a period since my mc and it will be 8 weeks past at that point. Hopefully I won't have to do that though!

How are you?

2020wish · 27/07/2020 10:28

@MichT4 fingers crossed for super peak tonight!!

Aw it’s ok I’m welcoming any sickness at present as reassurance. Il just have to solider on. Yes such a lovely night, they showed up with balloons and cake and presents, the pregnant one was so apologetic of her bump I could of hit her and told her to wise up, I also felt a little kick. I was so good and didn’t tell them for hours until the other one was starting to pressure me for a wine , saying it would help relax me etc (she knows I enjoy a drink and me not drinking on a sat is totally alien) so I ended up telling them a few hours in and they cried but could tell I wasn’t yet ready to get excited, apparently I was shaking with nerves. But that’s all I’m telling, absolutely no1 else until 12 weeks x

Tink20058 · 27/07/2020 10:32

@Jazper I’m off work today it’s miserable here too so having movie/ Lego day xx

MichT4 · 27/07/2020 10:34

@VP91x what a lovely, positive result. That is great news to know that you are still totally in with a chance, and whatever happens you are being looked after and will have the appropriate meds to help things along. It can only get better with having something to encourage regular ovulation! Yaaay!!

@2020wish aww how lovely you told them. It's good that they know you are anxious as they will know to give you the time and space you need. Glad you had a lovely day too

xx

MichT4 · 27/07/2020 10:35

@Tink20058 how are you doing Hun? Assume all bleeding has stopped now? Sorry, I might have missed it, but did you get checked over and everything or was it just a passing bleed?

xx

Tink20058 · 27/07/2020 10:42

@MichT4 yeah all completely stopped I called the epu and she just reassured me that the bleeding would have just been from increased blood flow and the friction on the full blood vessels and nothing to worry about, because I had a scan the week before she was confident all is ok but we both agreed not worth the risk and we will wait until baby is safely here, started feeling first flutters of movement so it’s reassuring ❤️❤️ Hope your well? Xxx

2020wish · 27/07/2020 10:46

@Tink20058 glad all is ok. Aww yay for flutters!!! How exciting

MichT4 · 27/07/2020 10:49

Oh @Tink20058 that is so amazing with the flutters! So happy for you.

Yes I am fine thank you, plodding my way through the month waiting for some pretty temp graphs and the like. Had more positive OPKs than I really care for this month, but all good none the less.

xx

Renna · 27/07/2020 11:05

Morning ladies xx hope everyone had a nice weekend xx
I'm on second day of hangover.. went a friends on sat night for a garden 'festival' typical festival weather haah. Lots of glitter gems and alcohol. Was fun to let hair down though . Ordered lots of supplements etc for DH and I and more opks to start peeing on and give it our all these next couple of months. I keep forgetting to temp though annoyingly as not done it for a while... xx after last cycle where I have no idea what happened I want to try see if I can confirm ovulation . @HE88 aw were no longer cycle buddies due to me weirdly long cycle last month😓 if I ovulate when I should this month we will be at my in laws in Devon. Which is where we conceived last time ... maybe our lucky place 🤞🤞 lol xxx

Northernsoul90 · 27/07/2020 11:14

@2020wish Glad you enjoyed your day, it's nice that you were able to tell them because you will have a little support circle around you ☺️

@Tink20058 Aww that's so exciting! I bet it's such an amazing feeling! Xx

@Renna Fingers crossed that you ovulate on time then! 🤞🏼. Two day hangovers are the worst! Treat yourself to a McDonald's lol xx

Wishingfornumber2 · 27/07/2020 11:18

@VP91x good to hear you are feeling positive and things are moving along for you 🥰. Might copy some of your entertaining a child at home ideas, I can never think of things to do!

@Lollol86 I work from home and have to entertain my 4 year old at the same time. It is so hard isn’t it! I am often on the phone with a headset so can’t leave my desk.

Ladies I have started on the calc fluor today for the first time. I know it says to take quite a few a day but remember someone on here saying they were taking 2 in the morning and 2 in the evening. Is that what most people take?

Renna · 27/07/2020 11:18

@Northernsoul90 haha we had McDonalds in bed yesterday 🤣 necessary for a hangover right ! 🤣🥤 going to try and make it back to the gym today now they're open 😶 going to be tough xx

Renna · 27/07/2020 11:21

@Wishingfornumber2 yeah I'd take 2 calc flour a day as seen it on a fertility holistic you tube channel x

Ra1nb0w123 · 27/07/2020 11:22

Hi all - can I join? My first mumsnet post 😊

In the dreaded tww ... not entirely sure when AF is due as we miscarried last month; we were very early on so luckily we were able and felt ready to ttc not long after. My static faces were in 21st and 22nd so think I’m 5dpo. We dtd before during and after ovulation. Everyday for the last week I have had cramping, all on my left side. I don't think it would have anything to do with the miscarriage as i was lucky enough to not suffer too bad and had very few cramps, these are different. But....I don't want to get my hopes up. Reading all your posts makes me realise I'm not alone. Is anyone else experiencing regular cramping? Is this a sign AF is on her way? XX

MrsK21 · 27/07/2020 11:40

Morning @VP91x that's so positive your doctors sound so helpful, and September is just around the corner as well :)
I'm getting on alright, I've got my gynaecologist appointment this evening and for some reason am absolutely bricking it. I felt so sick with nerves this morning and didn't sleep all night so had to call in sick to work this morning 😞
I'm sure all they'll do this first appointment is bloods and scan but I think because whatever I'm going through with mc isn't "textbook" it's making me feel really awful today. I must've done a very good job at distracting myself to this point

Any particular questions I should ask? Any advice is most welcome xxx

Lollol86 · 27/07/2020 11:43

@VP91x ahh that's amazing news. So glad you won't be waiting for ages to be seen xx

Northernsoul90 · 27/07/2020 11:43

@Renna Good luck!! 💪🏻 you can do it. xx

@Wishingfornumber2 Yeah I've just been taking 4 a day total the ones I bought said to take about 8 or more I think and it just seemed a lot! Xx

@Ra1nb0w123 Hello, I'm so sorry for your loss ❤️ I also had a mc in June and am currently in the tww (3/4dpo I think) so we are very close in timings! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼🤞🏼 some women get cramping around implantation time so that could be a possibility although 5dpo is maybe a bit early for implantation... you never know though! I alway get twinges when I'm ovulating and then also had them a week before af was due when I got pregnant last time. Our bodies are so confusing! Xx

CasperFlamingo · 27/07/2020 11:51

@VP91x I'm glad to hear you're finally on your way to getting some help and sorted. Fingers crossed for more positive news soon!

I'm after some further advice from you lovely ladies... So as you know I have been waiting for AF to arrive after MC. Thought it was making its appearance on Thursday - which was when it would have been due if my normal cycle was kicking back in. Got PMS symptoms, cramping, started spotting dark brown. Symptoms lasted 4 days in total, my usual AF length, but hardly any blood at all. Only enough to mark a panty liner, and nothing brighter than a dull pink colour... My question is, is this my period?! It was nothing like my usual period, except timing and length. Do I start OPKing as normal? Should I wait for a proper flow before testing again? Any ideas / help would be gratefully received!

MichT4 · 27/07/2020 12:07

@Wishingfornumber2 I take 4 - 2 in the morning, 2 in the evening as well.

@Renna with you on the hangover, though I had that relief this morning to wake up and feel OK again - just tired. Hangovers are not OK for me anymore, nor are they a fun reminder, they are blimmin horrendous 😂😂

Welcome @Ra1nb0w123 and sorry for your loss. I am also similar to you, as we suffered our second MC early July so in the unknown month too. I have never had cramping but I know some have had it around implantation as @Northernsoul90 said. If it's been happening for the last week though then it could be something else, might be something to do with ovulation? When will you plan to test this month?

@MrsK21 sorry you are feeling anxious about your appointment. Try and see it as a real positive that later on today, or in a few days, you will know more about what is going on - that is only a good thing. Not sure on things to specifically ask. Just make sure if they scan you, to ask exactly what they see and if there is anything that might suggest any issues. Sometimes I find them vague when they scan as they want a full picture first with bloods etc, but I think I would prefer to know as they go. Also maybe just ask what possible issues there could be to cause the delay in AF, and what they might recommend to rectify it. They might not have an answer, or want to give one, but might as well ask. Good luck!

@CasperFlamingo that is strange and frustrating. My first AF after MC was really light, which I was surprised by as I thought it would be heavy and painful. I did have some sort of flow though. Did you say you had taken a PG test? I'd probably assume it was AF and OPK as usual, just to make sure you don't miss it. Plus you might then find out it was AF, just a light one

xx

Lollol86 · 27/07/2020 12:14

@Wishingfornumber2 oh it's so hard. My youngest threw slime at the older one this morning and it went in her hair, 40 minutes later I could get back to working.

Ra1nb0w123 · 27/07/2020 12:19

Thank you for replying @Northernsoul90 :) Keeping everything crossed for you and look forward to following you in this looooong tww. It makes this whole process a bit easier knowing others are going through their own journeys too.
@MrsK21 sorry to hear you have woken up worrying. Try to make the most of not going into work in this miserable weather; film and pj day maybe before tonight?! - easier said than done I know. I can't give u any advice but send u well wishes and hoping u get some answers tonight :)
@CasperFlamingo AF has yet to visit me since MC so I can't help with what your experiencing. But can say that we decided to use OPK this month and had 11 days of flashing face and then a static finally arrived. This was without AF appearing yet. Costs a small fortune but I wanted to know as much as possible about my readings since AF was out of my control and probably all over the place. So ... can't hurt to OPK to get a better insight where u might be at.

@MichT4 thank you for responding too :) Sounds like we are at similar stages - I'm trying to hold out testing for as long as possible but I have no will power so doubt that will last! What about you? How are u feeing? When do you think you will test? X

God I'm waffling aren't I!!! Getting carried away as not used this app before and am so happy to find other people in similar shoes XX

MichT4 · 27/07/2020 12:28

@Lollol86 what a morning you've had!

@Ra1nb0w123 I am the same as you. Both my MC happened really early, the last one I started spotting 2 days after my BFP. So I am really keen this month to not test until I am out of reasons not to. I have no idea when AF will be due, because they say 4-6 weeks after MC, or sometimes longer as some of the ladies here have had, so I am just going to be blissfully ignorant and wait for AF. If I was super lucky and fell again, I would quite like to not find out until 6 ish weeks because the anxiety last time was through the roof.
I feel fine though, I have had a few positive OPKs and I thought I had ovulated already, but my temps came down again and I got another peak OPK so I am just riding this month out with a positive mind.

Waffle away! This is the place for a good chat! xx

CasperFlamingo · 27/07/2020 12:31

@MichT4 this is my thought. Treat it like AF and hope that there isn't anything more sinister waiting just round the corner 🤦🏼‍♀️ meant to be going on holiday to the Lakes next Friday so hoping this isn't just a prologue to a bigger AF, and it appears to ruin my time away!

@Ra1nb0w123 I'm definitely not coping well being so out of control, so think I agree with you and OPKing to keep at least some semblance of organisation!
