@LaceyMermaid that’s good. BBT usually falls approaching af. However mine doesn’t fall until af started which is no use for me using it to check for pregnancy

mumof23188 · 28/07/2020 10:03

Do I carry on once per day or start testing 3 x a day? This is this mornings! Thanks 😊

13 lucky for some? No...cos our bodies are f**k boys 🤪
blodyn91 · 28/07/2020 10:05

@Juno231 Ive been logging them as advanced 🙈 If I did ovulate when FF thinks, that dtd once for luck with SMEP might have been the beneficial one! But it worries me if this cycle is 28/29 days as LP will be short. Just gotta wait and see

blodyn91 · 28/07/2020 10:06

@mumof23188 is it darker than yesterday? If it is then no harm in testing again at 3pm say.

mumof23188 · 28/07/2020 10:12

@blodyn91 yes it is a bit darker than yesterday’s. Thank you will test again later. I’m only CD8 today but I think I ovulate quite early!

Franklydear · 28/07/2020 10:24

What an exciting weekend! I thought a lot of responses as I read but I forgot most
@2alreadywantanother hope your grandmother will be ok, I like what's for you won't pass you
@lucyrp so Luna stuck then...
@SmileyT yeiii for the scan, becoming real....
There was something about @Juno231 but I can't remember what ...

Katao · 28/07/2020 11:06

@BPT2019 I think you definitely need some input from the doctor, thats a long run of faint positives.

@notyetamumbuttrying good luck with the appointment, hope you get good support.

@mumof23188 I usually start doing 2 or 3 a day when they start getting darker.

Anyone any advice on exercise? @blodyn91
I think you have looked into this a bit? My problem is it isn't continuing exercise but starting! I have a few pounds to lose and want to get fitter. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to start exercising or what to do but seems a shame to put it off when I I don't know how long ttc will take! I just did a hiit online workout and then thought shit is that a good idea in the tww?!?

Minster2012 · 28/07/2020 11:16

Morning ladies!

Just caught up with all the testing going to be going on this weekend, how exciting 💕🤞🏻for everyone

@BPT2019 another line? Did you get FRER yet? So hope it's right for you

@lucyrp so 4 times a day then yeah??? FW here you are

Minster2012 · 28/07/2020 11:23

@Katao exercise isn't a massive problem in TWW though if you aren't used to it then maybe start smaller? I do a Pilates programme by a lady called Niix Fit on an app. It's specifically aimed at women and she also does classes on the app for after pregnancy and over certain ages etc but the classes on demand are great. There's a mixture of harder ones and lighter and diff stages. Even my hubby does some & likes it, can be hard work some of them. It's made me lose a few pounds & tone up a lot.

notyetamumbuttrying · 28/07/2020 11:24

@LaceyMermaid thanks, I hope so too! Try and hold out, like you say, it's not nice seeing that negative test!

@LV1987 ah feel for you, mine is the complete opposite and they are so short! This cycle was 21 days, the shortest ever!! I should never have taken agnus castus as they were regular. I thought it would delay my ov a bit, which it did for two days but then it messed with my luteal phase 🙄 still suffering the consequences a month on!

Thanks @mumof23188 not sure on your questions as I used the digital sticks and I only use those once a day.

Thanks @Katao, I hope they listen to me as they might read the notes from before and say it's still too early. It's not technically 12 months until sept but I'm on cycle 12 already as my cycles are short.

I believe exercising is ok in moderation. If you're just starting out try and do low impact stuff like Pilates, jogging etc. Hiit might be too intense, but if you're used to exercise then I'm sure it's fine.

@Minster2012 hey lovely, hope you're well today Smile

lucyrp · 28/07/2020 11:25

@Katao literally! That's how I feel! Can't wait for some later! And can't wait for the fertile week horniness to kick in!

@LV1987 I know it's an age isn't it ! Just you ladies wait for the upcoming week 😏😂

@Franklydear yes I think it suits her best we trialled daisy and Luna but Luna suits her although I loved daisy as its so cute! But Luna it is. And here is a photo of her again everyone who doesn't like cats its probably fed up of me by now 😂

13 lucky for some? No...cos our bodies are f**k boys 🤪
blodyn91 · 28/07/2020 11:31

@Katao I did cut back for two cycles as I thought I was over exercising, my body fat % is quite low so was worried about not producing enough sex hormones- but this cycle I've upped it back up as I have a triathlon in September. Even with hard sessions I have Ovulated. Obviously I have no idea where you are at, but if you are little over weight loosing a few lbs might really help with ttc. Exercise is a huge de stressor and it helps with blood circulation, which you need for implantation. As long as you dont go out and run a marathon and just step it up gradually you will be doing more benefit than harm. Couch to 5k is a good option, or 30mins home videos and lots of walking! My OH does park bootcamp on Sat morning, pay as you go, £3 for an hour group session, no idea if something similar goes on where you are.

Katao · 28/07/2020 12:22

@notyetamumbuttrying after 12 cycles is perfectly reasonable to investigate even if not a year I think. Hiit was definitely too intense, I'm still not over it 😂
@Minster2012 thanks for that, I'll look into that app. Pilates would definitely benefit me as i have such a weak core post csection.
@blodyn91 thank you. I haven't too much to lose, half a stone would go a long way but I'm very unfit! I do yoga on and off and walk the dog but that's it. Feel like I need to be more active. I might try to up the walking and get back into pilates 😃

Ltay2 · 28/07/2020 12:23

@lucyrp Ahh Luna is so beautiful 😻 I never get sick of cat pics, I follow a few rescue accounts on IG and forever showing OH pics of kittens 😂

@Katao I also have this worry with exercise. I am rather unfit at the moment need to get back into it! I found a dance fitness account on YouTube that I was enjoying but now too paranoid to do anything as I don't want to feel like I've done something to ruin implantation (even though I know logically it won't do any harm, I will just blame myself if it doesn't work out) 🙈

notyetamumbuttrying · 28/07/2020 12:28

@lucyrp I'm glad you've gone with Luna, it was my favourite but didn't wanna day until you'd picked a name. She's very cute!

@Katao I did an insanity workout once a few years back when that was the all rage, I could barely walk afterwards 🤣
I have a stone and a half to shift and I just can't find the motivation 😫 I've lost a few lbs of my lockdown gains but it still leaves with me a stone and a half to lose 😂

lucyrp · 28/07/2020 12:51

@Ltay2 I never used to be a cat person but my friend is a crazy cat lady and has converted me totally and OH nan has a little cat so I've been bombarded with them and now I love cats. OH wants a dog but we're not at home enough to be able to give them the attention they need 🙈

@notyetamumbuttrying aww thank you! I love it now I've chosen it 😻🙈

Katao · 28/07/2020 12:52

@notyetamumbuttrying oh yes a friend of mine used to do that insanity workout, made me tired just hearing about it 🙈😂
@Ltay2 that's it, want to do something but don't want to hurt my chances. Need to find a balance. I think the gradual increase approach might be best

Ltay2 · 28/07/2020 13:12

@Katao I keep saying to myself I will do some yoga or Pilates, something gentle, but then by the time I get home from work I'm too tired and cba with even that! There is no hope for me 😂

@lucyrp I've always been a crazy cat lady 🤪 I love dogs too but my family have always been cat people so I definitely have a softer spot for them than dogs. Would love to have a dog at some point in the future if I could fit it in with work life as I'm the same, not really home enough, and then you get the added factor of doggy daycare or dog walking expense so they get some social time when we're both out at work.

notyetamumbuttrying · 28/07/2020 13:33

Yeah it really suits her @lucyrp 👍🏾
Haha @Katao yeah I wouldn't do it again 😂
@Ltay2 same as me and I'm wfh so my only excuse is the space as I'm in one bed flat. I do have the river nearby tho so at the start of lockdown I was going for jogs but that tailed off quick smart 😆

Busybee143 · 28/07/2020 13:38

@Juno231
Thanks! You're a little star, I've started temping today, bit late but better than nothing

Skip86 · 28/07/2020 13:48

Hey ladies! And thanks for thinking of me @Katao 🥰
Had a completely amazing week away. Perfect weather, good company, sand, salt, surf, etc etc etc 🙌🏼 so sad to be back to reality and 739 loads of washing 😩😩 I'm doing ok other than my epic constipation - ended up having to call my gp while I was away to check I could take a bunch of anti-bung treatments during pregnancy and with my crohns. So enemas in the campground toilets and 3x per day stool softening smoothies for me, mmmm delightful!!

Have been skim reading every few days and excited for the weekend! Pumped for some BFPs 👏🏼👏🏼 x

Katao · 28/07/2020 14:07

Aw nice to hear from you @Skip86, I worry when people get too quiet 😂 glad you had a nice time, constipation aside 😬
Have been thinking of @KateColx too but I think you have decided to step back a bit. Hope all is well though 😉
@Minster2012 I've downloaded a free pilates app to start with, it's been a whole since I've dine it, but thinking I might sign up to that one you mentioned for a month and see how I get on.

Katao · 28/07/2020 14:07

*while not whole 🙄

2020mission · 28/07/2020 14:39

@SmileyT glad to hear things are going well. I'm fine (but would be better if I was pregnant of course haha). That's exciting that you're getting your scan so soon. I take it you go private if you want to get a scan before 12 weeks? I was thinking of going private a month or so ago if I had got pregnant then with all the restrictions in place at hospitals as I wouldn't want my husband to miss out on that when it would be our first, but it looks like you can bring a visitor now 😅 will be great for you to get your scan in to give you peace of mind.

Juno231 · 28/07/2020 14:50

Ladies - are you planning on finding out if you're having a boy or a girl btw? I think I'd be quite happy to leave it as a surprise (and avoid my mum buying a bunch of stuff all in pink or all in blue) but OH is soooo keen to find out ASAP. In fact, there's been talks about us getting the harmony test done at 10 weeks to find out then!

I know I'm getting way ahead of myself here, just wanting to spark some chat :)
