Hello, just a new thread for August...will add people as and when they finish with the 'July pact'

I think it's important to have a relevant thread once you are looking forward and gearing up for the next cycle...
Or chat turns to tww's when we will want to start chatting about ovulation again...

Will run both threads alongside each other ❤️

@RMarieClaire That's true! Hopefully we only have 24 hours to wait. X

bh2210 · 14/07/2020 21:02

Hope it's ok to join.
I'm a few days into cycle #7. I've been through the excited first few cycles, the disappointment of the next few cycles and now feel ready that it'll happen when it'll happen. Not sure when my peak will be this month but I have ALL the cheaply sticks to guide me and a hubby very willing for this month to be it!

Fingers crossed for everyone whether you're just watching the thread or posting. Smile

Morning. I think I'm CD4 and need to order some OPKs. The difference in my mood when not furiously symptom spotting is huge. How is everyone else doing?

RMarieClaire · 15/07/2020 08:26

@LeopardLover any sign of AF? CD36 now. I did have some cramping this morning and felt very hormonal yesterday so hoping today or tomorrow. I guess at some point I'll have to take another test if it doesn't come but I can't bear another negative result. Easier to just have no hope.

SS123456 · 15/07/2020 08:39

My bbt is still raised at 13dpo and am now on my 3rd day of (brown) spotting. All tests have been BFN though 🤷🏻‍♀️

LeopardLover · 15/07/2020 08:49

@RMarieClaire Nothing which is so annoying lol. I feel hormonal, have cramps etc so it'll be today - hopefully! I know what you mean about the test. Maybe give it until the weekend?

@SS123456 Sounds positive and it could be too early to get the BFN!

FoxtrotOscarPoppet · 15/07/2020 10:05

Slightly annoyed. Had my peak fertility smiley yesterday so planned to DTD last night.....DH ended up having to work very late and he’s working til late again today so I’m worried now we’ll “miss the boat”. 😢

Oh that would annoy me too. So frustrating when the window is so small. Can you ask him to wake you up when he gets back? When we were TTC our first I used to set a 5am alarm to find time - it was NOT romantic!
MrsKey2020 · 15/07/2020 18:58

@RMarieClaire we were the same when ttc our first! Trying not to get like that this time round although we rarely have the time to dtd with a toddler 😂

MrsB2019x · 15/07/2020 19:28

Hi ladies, can I join you? ☺️

CD1 today 👎 next AF due 12th Aug.

Been trying for our first baby since October, fell pregnant in April but this was ectopic and received treatment at 5+4. Had to stop trying for 3 months for the treatment to leave my system so this cycle we’ll be fully back up and running 😂

RMarieClaire · 15/07/2020 19:51

@MrsKey2020 Oh I know - those naps are sacred! We're lucky that we're both working from home at the moment - when my fertile period eventually comes around we might just have to book in 'meetings' 🤦‍♀️

FoxtrotOscarPoppet · 16/07/2020 05:59

@RMarieClaire I did indeed stay up late and wait for him but that made this morning’s early alarm for work really difficult. 😫

It does take all the romance and spontaneity out of it.
Fingers crossed for us all this month!

FoxtrotOscarPoppet · 16/07/2020 06:01

Welcome @MrsB2019x.

Sorry to hear about your ectopic. x

MrsB2019x · 16/07/2020 09:07

@FoxtrotOscarPoppet Thank you 💕 honestly was the worst time of my life but gave me a little reassurance that we can actually conceive if that make sense?

kirinm · 16/07/2020 10:22

@MrsB2019x Welcome and sorry to hear about your ectopic. I had one too many years ago - sounds like you were treated with methotrexate? It is such a drawn out long draining process isn't it?

I'm now bored waiting for fertile week. I haven't bought any OPKs and wondering whether to bother or not. As I have a short cycle which is regular, as long as we are DTD every other day until around CD11 I'm guessing we should cover it. Or is that too relaxed an approach?

kirinm · 16/07/2020 10:29

I meant DTD every other day until CD11 and then everyday for 2/3 days afterwards as I seem to ovulate on CD12

MrsB2019x · 16/07/2020 10:36

@kirinm Thank you, yeah I was. Luckily I was clear after just over 2 weeks but those 2 weeks were hellish! Can I ask, have you managed to conceive since? Please don’t answer if it’s too personal - but I always find a lot of ectopic stuff is related to those who have had tubes removed rather than treated with methotrexate.

I reckon your DTD plan sounds fine, I think OPK’s make us put more pressure on which probably doesn’t help! Doesn’t stop me using them though 😂👀

kirinm · 16/07/2020 10:42

@MrsB2019x I did! I had very early miscarriages and a later miscarriage but it was never suggested they were connected to the ectopic. And then I had my DD two years ago. Managed to get pregnant with pretty much no effort and although I did bleed a lot during pregnancy, it was otherwise a totally normal pregnancy.

I also have a friend who had two ectopics and she has just had her second little girl.

Thanks so much @Rotagilla - still waiting on AF from July - now 5 days later than expected but I did ovulate late. Hopefully today or tomorrow then we can plan for August.

Rotagilla · 16/07/2020 12:08

@RMarieClaire fingers crossed for you that you won't need this August thread!

Thank @Rotagilla great to keep track of everyone where they are up to 😊
I'm defo ovulating later than I said- think I mixed up my cycle day with the date haha. So it will be the 21st I believe- which is CD13.
Did an IC opk today and stark white just to rest in case ovulating earlier. I'll start the clear blue OPKs this weekend I think. Is anyone else coming up to fertile week?
I'm feeling a lot more relaxed this month after having a conversation with the OH.
