Hello, just a new thread for August...will add people as and when they finish with the 'July pact'

I think it's important to have a relevant thread once you are looking forward and gearing up for the next cycle...

Ovulation happened on 30th July so AF now predicted on 13th August. Matching up rather nicely with @LeopardLover and @SS123456!

Thank you @Rotagilla for doing the list 😊. When you get a chance please can you change my ov to 1st Aug and AF to the 14th. I am also on cycle 10 rather than 9 (😩)

Thanks for the list @rotagilla. I’m now cycle 4 but I wouldn’t go to any effort to change it 😁 I don’t know how you keep track of it all!!!!

@LeopardLover I hope so! I’ve been invited for cocktails on Saturday night and half tempted to test because if there’s even the faintest line then I won’t drink, but that would be 9dpo so not sure if it’s even worth it as it would probably be negative regardless?

@MrsB2019x Such a tricky one! Maybe just test anyway for peace of mind? It is possible you'd get something!! One of my best friends had no idea she was in the early stages of pregnancy one NYE and still had healthy twins! You might not even implant until after!

@MrsB2019x I'm out Friday night as well so have the same dilemma but I'll definitely be too early to test! Got a free Amazon voucher today so I'm tempted to order some ICs 🙈

Thanks @LeopardLover & @whambam89, might do it anyway and see what I get just to shut my head up more than anything. I work for SS and see babies who have been exposed to chronic alcohol/drug use all the time and most of them turn out fine so I know if I was pg one night would be fine, just tricky on the ol’ conscience!

@MrsB2019x completely understandable why you'd want to avoid it then! I drank way too much about 3 days before I found out I was pregnant with DD, at the time I was clearly not as obsessed with POAS as I am now as it hadn't even crossed my mind to test before AF was due 🤦🏻‍♀️

So I got some cheapy opk’s from Sainsbury’s (£7 for 5?! Wtf!)

They’re in the en-suite, with what has become known as my wee glass (formally latte glass)

If I see even the slightest line I will use the expensive ones

I really wish we hadn’t of fallen pregnant in our first cycle, because I know my brain is automatically going to think my body doesn’t work if we don’t get pregnant first time again.

@Sansa87 Holy cow that’s expensive! I use the cheapy One Step ones from Amazon that are like £8 for 50 😂

@MrsB2019x I know! For that price you’d expect them to draw the bloody egg out!

I want to order some of the amazon ones but didn’t know which one to get, and they all say they will arrive Monday, and I’m worried I’ll ovulate this weekend

Another faint line and now I'm starting to bleed so another chemical.

@sansa87 do you have a home bargains nearby? You can get a 3 pack in there for £1 I think, might do the trick until you can get some Amazon ones delivered!
