Hello, just a new thread for August...will add people as and when they finish with the 'July pact'

I think it's important to have a relevant thread once you are looking forward and gearing up for the next cycle...
Or chat turns to tww's when we will want to start chatting about ovulation again...

Will run both threads alongside each other ❤️

@Rotagilla That all sounds promising! My tests are cheapies too, I think they're just not great at detecting BFPs very early. A FRER might be better 😊

@stickytoffeepud1991 Thank you 😊. I did some sanding to celebrate haha. I'm glad you're over the worst of the virus. It sounds awful! I can see your DHs point of view lol, it's a shame but good luck for next month x

MrsB2019x · 02/08/2020 19:44

@stickytoffeepud1991 Glad it’s on its way out and you’re starting to feel better! Shame you’ll be out this month but you’ll be back stronger next month ☺️

Not a lot going on here, 3DPO and all the usual progesterone shit going on right now. Got 4 new spots yesterday alone! What’s with that Confused

@Rotagilla I didn’t even know B&M did pregnancy tests 😂 I’d def get an FRER!

LeopardLover · 02/08/2020 22:03

@BuckleUp YASSS!! That BBT chart was giving all the positive signs - congratulations!! 💜 Of course you're bricking it but you have 9 months to mentally prepare. Take it as it comes and totally get in some MTB if you can!

@whambam89 Oh gosh, me too! I felt super fertile last month haha. Guess it's all in our heads.

@BabyH88 It's definitely a difficult one, you could fall pregnant within the next few months or maybe you'd rather wait. Weddings are really stressful, but if you're organised it's totally possible.

I really want to go to Glastonbury next year because it was postponed and I'd planned it to be my last before TTC. Obviously a baby is much more important but I'm not cancelling my ticket, I'll just see how things pan out. I believe that things happen when they are meant to, and it'll all work out!

@Rotagilla Eeeek! Really hope this is your month 😁 Get that FRER 😅

@claireb707 Oh geez, I've never suffered with boob pain but this sounds awful! Hope it clears up tomorrow xx

BuckleUp · 02/08/2020 22:22

@LeopardLover Aww thank you! I'm going to keep monitoring BBT throughout I think, I'm kinda of in the habit now 😂. How you feeling after the floor grinding? I did some sanding with the grinder today and my hands are still buzzing!

BabyH88 · 02/08/2020 22:23

@LeopardLover I completely agree what will be will be, just feeing deflated as I feel like I am constantly waiting for life to get started I'm 32 (I know this isn't old) but we want more than one baby and we really wanted to get married this year so we could start trying straight away and waiting another year just means it will all take a bit longer. Also who knows if we can even get pregnant yet 🤷🏻‍♀️ so much to think about x

LeopardLover · 02/08/2020 22:30

@BuckleUp Love that you're going to keep it up! I have no idea what happens when you're pregnant - does it just remain high!? Oh you did!? So every muscle in my back hurts and I've bruised my lower body haha. One of my fingers felt really off but feels fine today. Hopefully you'll be better by tomorrow! It's a weird feeling 😅

@BabyH88 I can SO relate! I'm 34 (I keep forgetting because I feel much younger haha). We saved years for a wedding, then years for the house. Now we're finally ready to try for a baby. If we had the cash we would've done everything at least 6 years ago! I also feel the same about the unknowns. Again, if we had loads of cash I'd just head straight to a fertility clinic and do all the tests on us both. 😅 But for now I'm trying to practice patience. It's very early days! Just cycle 3 for us.

whambam89 · 02/08/2020 23:04

@leopardlover so weird isn't it, I almost feel as though it's over before the TWW has even started because I just don't FEEL fertile this month! Have only managed to DTD 3 times in the fertile window this month despite our night away last night!

BabyH88 · 02/08/2020 23:13

@LeopardLover I'm so glad there are so many of you lovely ladies on here that are feeling the same because it can be a lonely time when everyone around you seems to have everything so easy (I know it isn't always as Rosie as it seems)

Is this your baby? I think if we decide to wait till we are married I will pay to go to a fertility clinic to make sure everything is ok

BuckleUp · 03/08/2020 05:32

@whambam89 Don't worry too much about DTD enough. I was worried about that this month because DH and I only managed twice on my fertile window this cycle. Now I'm thinking timing is more important. I hope you enjoyed your night away x

BuckleUp · 03/08/2020 05:35

@LeopardLover I have no idea.. I'm a scientist, so collecting data becomes habit very quickly. How I love a good spreadsheet! Hands are decidedly less buzzy this morning 😂. How's your back feeling today? x

whambam89 · 03/08/2020 07:51

@BuckleUp thanks for that, I'm just feeling really deflated at the moment I think! It's only our 3rd cycle trying this time but I would have been 7 months pregnant by now if my ectopic hadn't been an ectopic earlier this year and I'm becoming really aware of the age gap getting bigger between DD and hopefully baby number 2. Officially 1dpo today so let the TWW commence (again 😴)

MrsBtobe2020 · 03/08/2020 07:54

Wow only just caught up from Saturday morning! Sounds like everyones been busy 😊 hope you are all getting through the tww ok, I haven't thought too much about it as I have no idea if/when I ovulated.
Our wedding was cancelled for this September, we haven't said a word about ttc so Im hoping something happens soon or I'm gonna get questions about why we aren't organising the next wedding! Sort of playing by ear now due to corona.. Anyway else had wedding plans ruined? So gutted!

BuckleUp · 03/08/2020 08:06

@whambam89 Don't feel bad about feeling deflated, it's perfectly understandable after your eptopic. How old is DD at the moment? A larger age gap isn't always a bad thing. Welcome to the TWW. Sending lots of baby dust ✨

kirinm · 03/08/2020 08:12

@whambam89 glad to hear you got your static smiley over the weekend. Hope the tww flies by for you!

12dpo was I'm still not feeling great. I've had a headache for two days now. I kind of feel like I'm maybe coming down with something but it's taking its time to arrive. I have had low level nausea for a few days too but that is what happens with PMS too. I'm tempted to buy a test now as a bfn now would be accurate.

MrsB2019x · 03/08/2020 08:18

@whambam89 Totally know how you feel. Every now and then I calculate how many weeks I should have been if the ectopic never happened (21+3...)

@kirinm Sounds promising for you ☺️

whambam89 · 03/08/2020 08:31

@buckleup she will be 3 in December, I know it's not a massive gap but I always imagined a 2.5-3 year gap and was clearly a bit naive to think it would be as straight forward as last time! I'm obviously a bit older than when we conceived DD (I was 31 last week), so that's also starting to concern me as well 🤦🏻‍♀️

whambam89 · 03/08/2020 08:32

@kirinm definitely go out and get a test! I feel like this is becoming a lucky thread this month so fingers crossed for you 🤞

kirinm · 03/08/2020 08:34

I've just taken my temp because I do feel unwell. Fortunately it's not a fever although it's pretty warm which is probably contributing to me feeling crap!

whambam89 · 03/08/2020 08:34

@MrsB2019x it's rubbish, isn't it?! I'm lucky enough that I didn't lose a tube but with it being treated with methotrexate we weren't allowed to try for 3 months which is a long time when you're so desperate for something! I actually feel like it didn't really process properly for me when it happened and it's only now I'm getting closer to what would have been my due date that it's really getting to me. Hope you're getting on ok x

BuckleUp · 03/08/2020 08:39

@whambam89 That's not too big a gap, hopefully you get your BFP soon 🤞🏻. I turned 31 in May so I understand what you mean about age, but I've seen women on here getting BFP who are over 40 and I think the average is mid-30s now so you're definitely still plenty young enough! Have you got anything to distract you from your TWW? I find it goes faster if I'm busy x

@kirinm Hope you feel better soon x

whambam89 · 03/08/2020 09:16

@BuckleUp we've got a busy weekend this weekend actually, but not much planned in between. I'm knuckling back down on the healthy eating this week and that usually keeps me distracted, stupidly weighed myself after an indulgent weekend and was horrified haha. Have removed all of the "symptom" sections in the (3 🙈) fertility apps I have because I drove myself mad logging symptoms and comparing to previous month's last month. I honestly feel like we've just not done enough this month though so I'll probably (hopefully 😂) naturally think about it less.

BuckleUp · 03/08/2020 09:20

@whambam89 Sounds like a plan! Don't be too hard on yourself though, it's natural to feel a bit anxious. Good luck with the healthy eating! My DH casually reminded me I don't need to eat for two over dinner last night 😂 - cheeky git!

kirinm · 03/08/2020 09:56

I bought a couple of very cheap tests from the local pharmacy, they aren't sensitive which I didn't realise - I always feel slightly embarrassed buying tests, like I've done something wrong even though I'm 42. Anyway, it is meant to pick up hormones of 25IU/ml and I used the 4/5th wee of the day but I think I can see something?

kirinm · 03/08/2020 09:59

They could easily be evaps / indents. I've never heard or seen these tests before so no idea how reliable they are.

Rotagilla · 03/08/2020 10:35

I was woken up at 6am and desperate for a wee (I didn't want to test and my oh know about it because I'm really hoping to surprise him when it happens) but couldn't hold it...😂

I tested using a cheap b and m one because I didn't want to waste the frer! (Because I'd wasted the first wee)

But cheapy one....and I've got a squinter for you...can anyone else see that little shadow?
