@Cels22 yeah definitely call your GP and see if they will scan you so they can date the pregnancy more accurately for you 🥰

@Mommybear05 omg no way that's ages. What did you get him? I got the Kritter (I think that's the name) table and an extra chair. We need a new tv unit and more storage so I was picking that out for when we need to get it next month. Ikea is fab. Yeah good! Just waiting for ovulation . How are you? X

Hi everyone,
I’ve been following your stories for a month or so now but I’ve been too nervous to post anything. We’ve been trying to get pregnant for around 2 years, I had a chemical last May but no luck since although we’ve only been actively trying by tracking etc since this January with no luck so far. I’m 40 and my partner is 39 so I’m really starting to think we’ve missed out chance. The doctors haven’t been very helpful because I already have children (14 and 12) but my partner doesn’t so we were really hoping this would happen. Because I’ve already had children I thought it would be really easy but I’ve learnt that’s definitely not the case. I’m starting to lose all hope ☹️. We were going to go for some private checks etc but because of covid that was all put on hold but I’m hoping now things are opening up we can get booked in soon. Every month I think is our month as I get all these symptoms and then nothing! It’s so upsetting.
We’ve kept this all to ourselves so I’ve found comfort in your chats so thank you for that.
Also congratulations to all the BFP’s this month (I’m not very good with the lingo yet, but I’m a fast learner lol) it’s such an exciting time but so nerve wracking too. My fingers and toes are crossed for you all.

@Northernsoul90 I was desperate to see a negative result after my mc. It was torture waiting for it to end and allow us to move on. I got mine 2 weeks & 2 days after my medical management. Fingers crossed you get yours soon xx

Hi @Baba458 really sorry to hear about your struggles. I think private clinics are back up and running as we were booked in before covid but they cancelled when lockdown happened. We found out we were pregnant the day before they rang but didn't tell them. Then they phoned a couple of weeks ago to say we could make another app if we wanted

Hello @AC2020, thank you for letting me know. I will be able to call them and get booked in finally 😊 . We were due to move house before this too so that’s all been on hold too so we are just in between houses atm but hoping to be moved in by mid August. Which has all added to the stress 🤯

Welcome @Baba458 so sorry you've had such a long journey TTC. Hopefully your appt gets booked in ASAP so you can get some further advice. Are you tracking ovulation etc? You'll definitely get lots of support here 🥰

Hello @VP91x yes I started tracking my ovulation in January with the CB kits. I’ve been tracking my temp for the last two months. I seem to be very regular with my af, temps and ovulation. I just don’t get what we’re doing wrong. I’ve changed my diet, I take vitamins regular.... I just feel like my steam is running out. Last month I’d convinced myself I was pregnant and I sobbed my socks when my af turned up. It’s just all so draining.

@Baba458 AF turning up is so heartbreaking. You do feel really helpless regardless of what you take or do, it isn't really in your hands I don't think. It's good to know you're regular with ovulation etc at least it is one less then to worry about although probably not much comfort at the moment. Fingers crossed for you this month ❤️

@MichT4 so sorry to hear youd had some spotting but hoping everything is OK for u 🤞 don't let them try and fob u off if u can take a pg test in with u and push for both scan and bloods to be done. As u are 5 week they can do it had one before didnt really tell me much but they also done bloods 3 days apart so they can do. Everything crossed for u lovely

@Rebecca1992 hey love I am also 7dpo according to my app but not sure as not been tracking this time around. Pain around 6-7 days post ovulation is always a good sign fingers crossed its ur lcuky month 😁xx

@sunflower96 hi! Welcome to group! I'm sorry you went through MCs. I can definitely relate to your story. I also had two MCs( one at 9 and second at 5 weeks). Last Mc was end of May.I also felt quite down after Each Mc, especially after the first. With second one, I have picked my pieces faster. But definitely became obsessive on following up on cycle etc. it is my second ttc cycle after last MC and I feel little more relaxed about it. But it is aaaaa process.... but what helps me a lot is talking with ladies on chat here. You will find great support here 😘
If you had the light line, I wouldn't give up. How sure are you about your ovulation day ? I wish you bfp and sticky bean dear😘

@SmileyT I am going to try grit my teeth and stick it out until at least sunday, my delivery of PGs has been delayed until tomorrow so that will help 😂

@MichT4 Its crazy isn't it?? I actually cant believe how obsessed I've become with it all....I haven't looked at social media for over 2 weeks I'm so distracted, googling everything!! Definitely agree it takes the blissful innocence out of it!

@HopeForRainbowbaby Thank you! According to the digital test I would he about 5 weeks but I'm not entirely sure as I haven't had a period since my miscarriage in May! It's been almost a week since the last digital I took. Really wanting to do another tomorrow to see if it says 3+ but I know I would worry even more if it stays the same! I just can't switch off 🤦🏼‍♀️

@Stayinghopeful92x thank you, I won’t be fobbed off. Nothing is a waste of anyone’s time when it comes to pregnancy. I’d be delighted if it turned out I was panicking over nothing. The lady I spoke to today was lovely so I’m hoping she’s in.
What did you see on your 5 week scan?

@Baba458 welcome to the group, so sorry to hear about your journey. Definitely agree that you should push forward with the tests. I think I heard nhs services are back up and running too but I imagine a quicker journey with private. Good luck, and as @VP91x said, I think you’ll get a lot of comfort here

@AC2020 Thank you, me too I've been so desperate to get my negative then I can move on. I'm now 4 weeks and 3 days post mva and still getting a positive yesterday. Hoping to get a negative this weekend xx

@Baba458 I'm so sorry for your loss and that you are having a stressful time at the minute, it's really heartbreaking when af turns up 😣. I hope you find comfort and lots of friendly advice here. It is positive that you have regular cycles and seem to be ovulating 😊 fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼don't lose hope xx

@HopeForRainbowbaby I have just ordered some CoQ10 from amazon it's supposed to improve sperm and egg quality amongst other health benefits and the calc Fluor is good for implantation but I'm not sure of the science behind it. I haven't taken either yet but I know some of the ladies have had success whilst taking them and I'll try anything 😂 xx

How is everyone? .. so got a little suprise call from the hosp yest to go in to see a consultant from the "rainbow clinic" today was worried thinking it was a bit of a last min phone call to go in 9am today, anyway it turns out its a clinic for women whov lost and are pregnant again.. hence the name rainbow clinic ☺️ anyway to my suprise they scanned me again and just checked my well being which was lovely and hes grown so much in just 10 days.. all was well and she told me to facetime my hubby in the room this time to show him and listen to the heartbeat and record it on video which they dnt normally let you do... another positive is that from 20 weeks in our hosp they are letting partners in scans, so fingers crossed, thats across the board for the other ladies with bfps and for all u ladies who will soon have ur bfps things are starting to go bk to normal x 🤞🏻💙🌈

Being impatient, I used the pregnancy test that the nurse gave me on Monday (the one she specifically told me to wait two weeks to use following MC - oops!) and it's showing ever such a faint positive line. I'm itching for the HCG to bog off soon so I can get back to TTC.

Bought some more/different OPKs to the CB ones I have on the recommendation of you lovely ladies... considering upping my supplements so looking at those now... honestly. What have I become?!
