@snapple21 I am sure I saw a thread on here a couple of weeks ago with someone asking how heavy an implantation bleed is as they bled quite heavily and they ended up being pregnant so you never know. Fingers crossed for you!

@candycrush2298 yh it sucks, I'll definitely track BBT this month. I am thinking of getting Evening Primrose oil... I heard that does great things for EWCM?

@indecisivewoman81 I said that about my Aunt when I was around 13. It was so random she was in a completely different country and I just went "Aunty is pregnant" and then the next day she called and said she was pregnant. I mean it was probably purely coincidental... but maybe kids have a sixth sense.

candycrush2298 · 17/07/2020 09:00

@snapple21 well done on your will power!! You rock!!! I hope you at least enjoyed your holiday.

@maryberryslayers the day after ovulation is counted as 1 day past ovulation (1DPO)😊

Morning all,

Congrats on the BFPs!!

I’m still in limbo and a bit confused over here 😅
Had what I think is ovulation spotting for 4 days now (started on the 13th with brown discharge in underwear, then light pink when wiping on 14th and 15th, and back to brown but only on wiping yesterday and a tiny bit this morning). I know implantation only lasts a couple of days but I read that some women experience for longer, even up to a week. It’s definitely not been AF and I’m not due on until Monday 20th at the earliest.

My temperatures are also doing strange things now too! I thought I had a possible implantation dip on the 14th, but now my BBT is doing some strange up and down pattern so not sure what that’s about!

Taken an IC (the flimsy one step strip tests) for the last 3 days - all BFNs but again not feeling too disheartened as I’ve read terrible things about them. I’m only using to try and stop myself using the 2 FRERs I have before Sunday or Monday!!

Also Natural Cycles changed my ovulation date with no explanation (after previously saying I O’d on CD16 which was last Wednesday - 8th July). Given what natural cycles previously calculated, and that I also had a positive OPK on the 8th, I’m counting from then so think I’m 9DPO today. Still super early to test, I know!

Symptom wise it’s mainly just been the possible implantation bleeding, but I have also been waking up with a very stuffy nose and had a headache when I first woke up this morning. Otherwise bloated but that’s not uncommon for me at this point in my cycle.

I’ve attached my BBT chart & month view of the changed ovulation date in case anyone can shed any light!

@Elakiya yeah i have also heard great things about evening primrose oil you use it just until ovulation and then stop or something like that. Another thing I have heard great things about is Agnus Castus (Vitex) for people with irregular cycles people call it the natural Clomid as you take it from day after your period for 5 days or something and it brings on ovulation quickly

Elakiya · 17/07/2020 09:13

@candycrush2298 Just thought I'd put this out there on how much stuff I take now :-

  • Iron tablets
  • Biotin
  • Pregnacare
  • Omega 3
  • Metformin x 2
-Inositol
  • Multivitamins for women (2 chewable ones)

Now I am considering this Agnus Castus thing you've mentioned and also the EPO.

When I take a sample of my urine to test my OPK I swear it has a strong smell of chemicals! (Sorry tmi!)

TTC123firsttime · 17/07/2020 09:26

Also I meant ‘why I think is implantation spotting for 4 days’ NOT ovulation!!

candycrush2298 · 17/07/2020 09:28

@TTC123firsttime I wish i could help you out but that is all really confusing. I have no idea what is going on there I hope it comes back to mean something. I agree probably best to hold out at least until Sunday to test with FRER as once the brownish blood is gone then you should be able to pick something up. Really hoping it is implantation for you. Xx

@Elakiya wow thats quite a bit of vitamins lol. Your multivitamin doesn't contain vitamin A does it though? As I heard that's really bad for women TTC.
I also have inositol powder and vitamin D and folic acid that I was taking before I switched to pregnacare I was wondering if I should keep taking the inositol and vitamin D as I heard its good to have a lot of those in your system but don't want to go overboard as pregnacare already has that in ya know?

OP posts:
Elakiya · 17/07/2020 10:01

@candycrush2298 Ran down and checked no Vitamin A thank goodness!

I am thinking of trying a home semen analysis for hubby however, they are quite expensive. How much was yours?

candycrush2298 · 17/07/2020 10:07

@Elakiya I think it was like £57. There is one from Boots or Superdrug that is £47 I think. Otherwise Dr Fertility has ones that are much cheaper can do a duo check for you and him for like £27 which I think is a good deal.

OP posts:
ReginaaPhalange · 17/07/2020 10:22

Thanks everyone.

I feel soooo sick today. I've ordered more FRER for collection at Superdrug today at lunchtime as my office is near one, so I'll collect and test again tomorrow morning or Sunday

Elakiya · 17/07/2020 12:15

@ReginaaPhalange Very excited for you! Keep us posted. I feel like I can definitely see a line. What's the hubby saying, can he see it too? (Men are just useless and this kind of thing so even if he can't just ignore him. We can see it and we have more experience) [Smile]

Elakiya · 17/07/2020 12:16

@candycrush2298 ooo I'll have a look into the £27 one thanks :D

candycrush2298 · 17/07/2020 12:34

@ReginaaPhalange keep us updated. Very excited for you.

@Elakiya now worries Kaybobx highly recommends Dr Fertility so I would say definitely look into the £27 one.

@Kaybobx hope you having a good first day back at work x

OP posts:
ReginaaPhalange · 17/07/2020 12:46

@Elakiya @candycrush2298 and anyone else I e forgotten! Hubby is starting to believe it I think. I just went into town and picked up FRER. I'll do one tomorrow or Sunday morning and update you xx

Kaybobx · 17/07/2020 12:57

Woohoo!! Just logged in to find all these BFPs!! Congratulations!!

@candycrush2298 Work is so odd! There's only 3 of us in so its very quiet. Everyone else isn't back until next week.

candycrush2298 · 17/07/2020 13:16

@ReginaaPhalange that's great. Hahaha men are always the last to believe. 😂😂😂

@Kaybobx lol I imagine that must be strange and kind of eery especially when you are so used to it being a full of life kind of place being a gym and all lol.

Did you test again this morning or are you saving the last FRER?

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 17/07/2020 13:27

@candycrush2298 we officially open on 25th so its very silent and kinda creepy in the gym haha! Its a huge building too.
All my staff are back phased next week, going to be odd for quite sometime.

I'm saving the FRER until tomorrow i think. I dont feel like AF is coming at all i usually get quite bad cramps but nothing yet. Will probably just be a week late haha

candycrush2298 · 17/07/2020 13:33

@Kaybobx hahaha that is weird. How has the cleaning been? Alright?

Well done on saving it!!! It would have been really tough for me hahahah!!!

Well let's hope she either stays away completely and you get that BFP other she comes super quick so you can move on. This dragging out business is just brutal haha.

OP posts:
Kaybobx · 17/07/2020 13:38

@candycrush2298 nooo im not cleaning haha. Im just calling and emailing all my staff welcoming them back next week and sorting out all the cleaning schedules/rotas etc. All the boring stuff 😂😂😂

It was only because hubby was up at the same time as me this morning for work and my mother in law arrived to look after the little one else i probably would of done the FRER haha!!

candycrush2298 · 17/07/2020 13:41

@Kaybobx lol!!!! Well it's probably a good thing haha.

Ahhhh well thats not too bad. Its a nice easing back into work so I would be pretty happy with that lol

OP posts:
ReginaaPhalange · 17/07/2020 14:07

Hubby is determined I'm not pregnant

candycrush2298 · 17/07/2020 14:41

@ReginaaPhalange lets hope we can prove him wrong with tests 😁😁😁

OP posts:
Elakiya · 17/07/2020 14:48

@Kaybobx I am intrigued to see how things will be next week for you. I'm not sure what I am expecting. It will either be heaving with people as everyone wants to lose lockdown weight or it will be a lot quieter whilst people wait to see what the impact of relaxing lockdown has been.

Let us know how the FRER goes tomorrow if you do one. I am spotting a bit more now (without exercise this time) so any time now.

@ReginaaPhalange He probably doesn't want you to get your hopes up so is trying to not to get excited. Bet inside he's like OMG we've done it :D. Keep us posted, eagerly waiting for your next test. I had a google about why you never got a positive opk, and it seems that's actually quite normal! (learn something new everyday)

Kaybobx · 17/07/2020 15:03

@Elakiya we are totally unsure how its going to go next week. I think it will be like when McDonalds opened for the first time and the queues went for miles haha! My boss thinks it will be quiet though, we shall see.

Of course I'll keep you all posted in the morning.

Do you usually spot before an AF? Could still be a postive sign

candycrush2298 · 17/07/2020 15:18

@ReginaaPhalange I agree with what Elakiya says men tend to be a bit more practical about situations so its possible that he doesn't want to get your hopes just in case but inside he is probably thinking quite a lot about it.

@Elakiya ahhhhh man so sorry to hear you are spotting again. It must be so annoying to spot during your cycle as you never know when you will need a tampon/liner. Argh. I am still secretly hopeful for you though xx

@Kaybobx ooooh it could really go either way everyone wants in or people are still cautious.
I am still excited to know about your test tomorrow.

I am always far too optimistic for my own good. But you just need hope. So I am hoping for all you ladies who aren't on CD1 yet that there's still a chance💜
