Hey ladies, I’ve been following this thread a few days as I’m also due AF on 20th July (also our first wedding anniversary!)

Hoping for a bit of help interpreting my charts and OPKs please..! I’ve been using natural cycles for a couple of years now as contraception, this is my first month of using for ttc. I’ve had a huge dip today which I wasn’t expecting (I did measure slightly earlier than normal today) but it has said today is my ovulation day (CD17) - see first photo attached. I’ll also attach a screenshot from last months cycle in the next comment too for comparison.
I just started recording OPKs on Pre Mom too. For some reason it has shown a peak on CD13 but I definitely wouldn’t say that was a positive test!!

When do you think I am most likely to have ovulated? My cycle is 29 days usually. I’m inclined to trust natural cycles as have used it for so long, and had some strong OPKs yesterday.

My luteal phase is also quite short (11 days +/-1) so when would you suggest I do my first pregnancy test this month? I have lots of one step early cheapies, a couple of FRER and a CB digital ready to go 😅

@Kaybobx just did another and it looks exactly this morning. Completely negative. Ah that is great will definitely take your mind off things. Definitely whats needed a good distraction.

@HEB21 to me it looks like they both saying the same thing. the OPKs from CD16 look dark the first one taken in the morning looks positive to me, which means the charts are right for suggesting CD17 would be ovulation. What CD are you today?

I think I just wasn’t expecting such a huge dip today in bbt. Just taken another OPK and was a very very faint test line so presuming I’m ovulating today based on strong positives yesterday. Now commences the TTW.. 😬

@candycrush2298 we really should chart 😅😂 it will give us peace of mind to know we’ve ovulated

@Elakiya we should totally chart. What can do to give ourselves the kick in the but to actually do it?

@candycrush2298 wish we could get the hubby’s to wake up before us and stick a thermometer in our mouths 😂 that way temp taken without fail 😉

@Elakiya now that sounds like a plan whahahah!!! My hubby would probably be like hell no as he would be scared I eat his arm off - I am not a morning person like really not a morning person haha.

Oh boy, I'm so confused today So my CB Advanced Digital test showed static smiley on Tuesday evening CD16 @ 10.30pm, my Boots test also seemed to confirm and my IC results were next to nothing all day yesterday so I expected that I ovulated yesterday at some stage . On a whim after lunch today however, I went and did another two. My IC result was SUPER dark, much darker than the one I did the same night as my CB, and darker than the control line. I did another one from Boots and it too showed much darker lines. I've attached pics from my two Boots tests and also my chart from Premom. Could the CB have detected early or am I trying to ovulate and not able to?

CD 16 looks High but CD 18 looks like a peak to me. Maybe CB advanced is more sensitive than the other test you’re using? Unsure to be honest...

@ReginaaPhalange has had similar issues with CB giving a flashing smiley and cheaper OPK’s not showing lines?

Having said that my LH surge lasted for 48 hours this month so I did a bit of research and found it can last for up to 72 hours.

I’m struggling to interpret the BBT chart as I think they are quite volatile. Note I’ve not used them before so probably am not the best at reading these. Maybe take a temperature tomorrow morning and see if it increases a bit more?

@candycrush2298 lol 😂 I went and asked mine and he laughed. Then I said I was serious and he just gave me a blank look and told me I have too much time on my hands hence why I am coming up with “useless” ideas 😅

@Elakiya cheap OPK this morning attached. Clear blue advanced still a flashing smiley!

Can I ask a rather odd personal question..... I have woken up to purple nipples...😳😳 it's not the whole area, just the "teat" so to speak! Very odd! No other symptoms apart from still for a few spots on my face and that's it.

Update! The bottom two are from 15 mins ago. The earlier two have obviously dried down but these are darker still and especially on the wondfo one you can see the test line darker than the control line. I guess what could be happening is that I am still having the same surge, I messed up my opks yest and I'm ovulating very soon? I did take some of them very early and they're meant to really be used in the afternoon and and night. My CB has still got the smiley up until this evening so I'll maybe try another stick tonight when it goes to see does it go static again.

@ReginaaPhalange I thought that was more a symptom of pregnancy 🤰. Had a google and it says it can be a symptom for some women! Fingers crossed you get that static smiley soon 😁

@ReginaaPhalange 😂😂😂 Yh didn’t you say you were on CD 17/18 you would have had to ovulate on CD 7/8 to get a faint pos now. You never know though I’d test again 6 days before AF is due

@ReginaaPhalange i have purple nipples well teats too! And they are really sore today. Not my whole boobies just the teats. I couldn't wait to get my bra off!!
Ive been getting some mild cramping too.
I also did another OPK test today and it looks high!
Literally coping all your symptoms lol.

@Kaybobx that's so strange! My boobs aren't sore though. Haven't BD since Sunday night so DH Has been instructed we must do it tonight while I still have a high OPK lol!!!!
