Not had a period yet! So maybe I didn’t even ovulate this month! Frustrating too because I work with 2 people who have recently got pregnant ‘by accident’ who smoke loads of weed etc so I feel
a bit disappointed, fingers crossed it’ll happen soon!

Into the TWW for me. Pretty sure I won't be pregnant this month, just a weird feeling. Wouldn't be devastated, the longer I wait the better my chances of being able to go to Vegas for a work thing next spring 😂

It is good, & yesterday when the call came in I said "it's good news but you may not think so" & he says it is, but shit. It's what we want & we know everyone just copes, you just do. When we did IVF last time & I got the BFP it was no diff to corona now in that he wasn't able to come to most appointments as he was so flat out so no diff to corona rules now where no partners allowed in. I guess it's just with the news on schools yesterday I know it's not going to get better. Most of his staff are CHOOSING not to send their children back. Which is killing him. Damn politics. I get it, but for some industries like ours, in construction including plant hire for things that can be garden jobs we've never closed & yet are working on less than half workforce & even more demanding customers now & it's going to kill the business 😔
We haven't made anyone redundant but we might have to if they don't send their kids back

@Cocoblue22 365 DNI is a film on Netflix. Pretty good. Raunchy sex scenes. There's subtitles at the beginning and some throughout but it's not hard to follow as it is like 80% English x

@Minster2012 such a hard position to be, I work a lot with farmers, and some try and hold onto their businesses instead of handing it to their sons/daughters, then they are disappointed when they move away to work elsewhere, and suddenly they are left with nobody that wants to take the business over. Not many families talk about successions early enough- but its so important! Has your OH spoken to his siblings about it? Especially if their dad is over 65. Inheritance tax comes into things as well. Lots of articles on planning a successful succession online.
But fab news that IVF will be going ahead soon!

@JosieF95 ah I know how frustrating it is! Because mine took so long I just didn't know if it was pregnancy or fucked up hormones lol. Hopefully yours will come soon, but if it's over 2 months see your go as they can bring it on. I'd recommend temping and tracking after your first period as that's what's really helped me know what to look for and understand my irregular cycles :)

I’ve always been really regular so hoping it’ll get back to it soon! Will keep you updated anyway, I remember when I came off the injection it took me 8 months to have a period! Hoping that the pill will be shorter as it’s meant to come out of your system quicker! @Newbie0818 how long have you been trying since coming off the pill?

@josief95 @newbie0818 yikes! That's really scared me! 8 months for a period!? I got pregnant on the pill and then have been off since then. I had a MC and one periodwhich came 6 weeks after the MC (to be expected according to docs) was hoping my body would just snap back to my periods pre-pill (31days) I seemed to get a peak on an IC ovulation strip on CD16..now I'm second guessing it!? Do you think my hormones would be extra out of whack now!? ☹️

I hope you dont mind me joining I was in a thread last month but so many since then!

I havent been one to track ovulation (told myself I would try without as worried it would take over my life a little) but realising without its hard to go by the apps! I average 31 days cycles (28,29,31 and 34), last month I was convinced I was pregnant all the signs sore boobs, exhaused but bfn. This months im conviced im not (at day 30) but have has such intermittent cramping for 2/3 days. No af so wondering what implantantion cramps feel like? Been so exhausted today, had an afternoon under a duvet! Had a cheap tesco test bfn this morning, and got clear blue digital ariving friday as back up if af doesnt arrive.

Thanks in advance, these threads reassure and answer my worries as ttc for no. 1!

@Mococo1 it’s different for each person isn’t it, I know people who have got pregnant straight off the pill or a couple of months after, so I suppose it just depends on your body and how long it takes to get back to a normal cycle and ovulation! I’m sure it will happen for you! Good luck xx

@SmileyT - Sounds like it has been a bad day for a few of us in regards to work. I had a lovely email accusing me of not passing on details, when there was no details to pass on. Just said person didn't want to look stupid in front of head.

@Minster2012 - Sounds as though you have an awful lot goining on at the moment.

OH called tonight and i've been avoiding contact all day. I just don't want to tell him that AF has turned up. Fingers crossed it's only 20 days and counting and that they don't extend it.

Do we think I should test again tomorrow morning with FMU as the test I did today was in the afternoon or would you wait until Friday/Saturday? 😘

@JosieF95 @Mococo1 oh wow 8 months! I hope I didn't scare you as I didn't mean to! I think there's an underlying issue with me though so not completely pill related. We've been unprotected since I came off but I've only been tracking properly the last 3 cycles. I think I've been missing ovulation though as I assumed I had ovulated, then stopped DTD, so this month we've religiously done it every other day and everyday when I got a positive opk and temp drop. Hoping that's enough 😣 I think everyone's body is different and we can never really guess what's going on, I guess it's just a case of luck!

@lucyrp I'd be tempted to hold off for a few days since you said you're a slow riser it might not look much different tomorrow morning then you'd of wasted a test. But it's entirely up to you it's your choice and we're behind you whichever way but I think I'd wait it out a few days x

@lucyrp the longer you wait the stronger it'll be, but I understand how hard that is! Good luck either way x

@Cocoblue22 @Newbie0818 yeah I think I'm going to wait until the weekend but just wanted to see what you all thought. I've only got one FRER in the house now so don't know whether to order more as I doubt that one will be enough going forward xx

@lucyrp ordering more wouldn't be a bad idea, they always come in handy :)

@lucyrp you could order more but then you'd be more tempted to use them so maybe wait and order some on Friday or Saturday so it helps to spread out your testing? Coz if it is still quite faint on Friday you'll want to test again but would be then best waiting till Monday. I know if I had a few in I'd be like oh well I have more and be more inclined to use them x

@Cocoblue22 very good idea. I would definitely cave to testing earlier if I had some in the house. I don't even know why I did it today i just had an urge while OH was at work to test incase I could surprise him when he came home. He always wants to come in the bathroom when I do it with FMU and is always watching me to see what the result is so was nice doing it by myself for once 😂 I shall test Friday/Saturday and then order some more then xx @Newbie0818

Ladies I'm really sorry if this is an annoying post but I just need to let it out and I can't speak to anyone else. I feel really crappy again like I'm already out this month despite doing everything right, I'm I'm supposedly only 4dpo. I've been having cramps on and off today and my lower back is killing me. It's too early for anything so I know it's not a symptom, but I'm so terrified af is going to show up really early. A luteal defect on top of my crappy long cycles would be utterly shit! I've been really stressed with work the last 2 days and worried it's bringing on af and hindering any chances.

10 months in and I really thought I'd have caught by now. I know others have had worse experiences but I really never expected it to take this long and to be this emotionally draining. Feel like I'm letting my husband down as his family are all super fertile, and people keep hinting about when are we going to have a baby.

Sorry for the emo post. Just feeling a bit broken and useless :/ I'm sure I'll be feeling better tomorrow after a bit of moping.
