@Sydgal22 ring shopping is so fun! With solitaires try and get that balance where the setting is high enough to let light in to make the stone sparkle, but not so high as to snag in everything you touch! Oh and def more than 4 prongs or the stone is so much more likely to fall out one day 🙊

@SmileyT i can't wait for our house purchase to progress more so I can get neck deep into Pinterest boards! The whole thing needs redoing plus we'll do a side return extension and adding a utility and bathroom downstairs so I'd have SO much planning to do ❤️

@Newbie0818 oh really ? that sucks. yeah i know it's always your follicular phase that varies and not your luteal phase but i don't actually know how long mine is i thought it was 14 days but it was my first month of tracking so god knows. looks like i'm in for the long haul then by the time you lovely ladies have done 2 cycles or even 3 i'll still be on my first 😫

@J0DI3 I get how you feel we haven't told anyone apart from I've accidentally told 2 friends but DH thinks I've only told one. I don't think he would care but trying not to tell anyone else. Our parents have hinted a bit but I think they just think we are waiting. Hopefully your friends won't keep asking now they know x

Thought I'd have a little break on here yesterday whilst we had a catch up drink with friends! I read through it all but there was so much to be able to reply to everyone when you miss a full day!!
CD9 for me today, ordered some more ovulation tests and they're coming today, last month I got my first positive opk on CD15 so I might start testing on CD12 just in case I ovulate earlier for any reason, plan for us this cycle is we've been DTD every other day since af finished, a few days we've done it multiple times then as soon as I get into FW whether I have a positive opk yet or not then we're going for every day then the 2 days after peak as well!

@lucyrp have you still not had any proper answers yet from the doctors? How you feeling with it all?x

So I just sent OH into the supermarket to look for grapefruit juice and he comes out with this 😂 no babe.. close.. I guess it is grape FRUIT juice but no 😂😂😂 so my assfruit juice search continues 🙄

I've fallen out with my oldest best friend too well, not actually fallen out, she just kinda ghosted me & our other best mate after my wedding (after being chief bridesmaid). Totally bizarre despite being her kids godmother, sometimes ppl just need to move on away from friends. On the business side totally understand why it's easier to pay them out but again shitter for you 🤬😡. Pressure off TTC sounds good sending hugs

@J0DI3 we did plant shopping 2 weekends ago... After I mentioned I would like a rose arch and OH built one fit for a bloody giant (he never does anything by halves 🙈) ended up spending nearly 200 quid on shrubs and Roses 🙈🙈 I found myself in a similar situation when OH told his brother and boyfriend... I told him he needed to calm down as it doesn't happen over night, and they have not mentioned it since.

@Sydgal22 engagement ring shopping sounds like the one! I doubt we will ever get married, but also hop he will surprise me when we are pregnant 🤞 For your LP, I think anything between 10 and 14 is fine, but there are a few ways that you can extend it if you are concerned. I feel a bit niggly and AF like today too (even wore a pad to the beach just in case) and if I do have a ten dayer, will start looking at lengthening it for next cycle.

9DPO today, heartburn is still hanging about, feeling a bit crampy, back achey and periody... Not full of confidence tbh!

@SmileyT the trip to the beach was worth it, but at the same time a total wash out! We arrived about 20 mins before sunrise, got set up, realised it was bitterly cold. OH proceeded to whinge for 20 mins because I didn't bring him a jumper - why he didn't think he would need to wear one when leaving the house at 3am is beyond me! Anyway, we had blankets, so we sat and waited, it was lovely and clear and then... Mist followed by drizzle. We gave up and sat in the car with our bacon sarnies 🙈 then headed back out once the sun was up to paddle and play footy - kids loved it, grown ups are ready for wine already 😂😂

@Juno231 sorry AF is here, know exactly what you mean about continuous countdowns and symptom spotting, it's exhausting. I'm CD5 now, and I've weirdly enjoyed the stress free feeling of AF, I think seeing it like that has helped me to just get myself ready for the next one. Treat yourself to some of your favourite foods and drink 🥰

@J0DI3 ah that's difficult isn't it, it's nice that he's so excited but I'm the same as you and feel like people knowing adds a bit of pressure. Only one of our friends knows so far and every time I see or speak to her I feel like she's waiting for me to say something, especially as she got pregnant in 2 months 😩

I'm 5/6dpo. Had all the signs of ovulation - pain, ewcm etc - and today I've got like clear but thick cm? Like almost jelly like? Is that normal or is my body trying to ovulate again 😭

@lucyrp well at the moment you know that you can get bloods done in a couple of weeks so just keep yourself as distracted as you can before then, I know it's hard but if you are in the same situation at the end of the month at least you know they will help you get some answers. I think I've ovulated around CD30 before so could definitely be that x

@Juno231 ooh when do you think you'll be a moving? We moved here in November and need a new kitchen with extension, new bathroom and loft extension for an extra bedroom. It's very exciting to be getting everything ready for a family ☺️

Luckily I ended up loving it 😅 he kept it classic with a solitaire princess cut in platinum so it matched the white gold ring I had on my other hand.

@Cocoblue22 yes! Parents are always hinting about us giving them grandchildren. It just feels like as soon as we started TTC everyone started hinting but that might just be because we’re so aware of it!

@Vil10 no the doctor told me i was probably pregnant and to ring the midwife and ask for them to do my bloods so i did and the crappy midwife i had with my CP answered and refused to do my bloods until the end of the month! so no answers for me. just a waiting game x

@Sydgal22 engagement ring shopping is so fun! I did that with mine before he proposed as a massive hint and because I knew he needed a helping hand lol! He still managed to surprise me with the proposal too! It was about 5/6 months later in Italy, very romantic. Our first wedding anniversary is coming up in August. We had a trip booked pre COVID and I just hope we can still go! 🙏🏾
