@SmileyT I used to I have regular blood tests to check when and if I need them. I feel like when I finally get my BFP I'm totally going to be on them 😂

I thought everyone was using the app @Newbie0818 lol! Were you going through the site on your phone then? That explains why some were complaining of not being able to tag etc, I thought their phones were old something lol!

@SmileyT hairdressers and beauticians aren't going to know what's hit them after this 😂 I was hoping it might teach me to enjoy being more natural but that definitely has not been the outcome of this haha.

So I was speaking to my pregnant friend earlier and I asked if she'd doing ovulation tests etc when trying, and she was just so chilled like no we just had more sex, and if we didn't get pregnant within a year I thought I'd look more into it then. I'm almost jealous at how chilled she was about it 😂 im only 3 months in and already looking into additional things to help, isn't it funny how some people can be so laid back about it and others (me) can obsess over every detail from the off.

AF still hasn't arrived 😒 been a bit crampy for a few days now but no actual sign 😩🙃

@KateColx when was AF due ?? And how many dpo are you ? I'm so sorry for asking the same questions all the time 😂😂

I was reading through then like what are @lucyrp and @KateColx on about try with your mouth first....then I realised 🌡 haha and wash or Dettol it in between 😉 x

@DAC21 - yes we’ve used a known donor but with a contract in place so we are all protected and covered. If all goes well with this pregnancy, will you keep your remaining vials for a 3rd child?? This is why we went with a known donor as we hope to have a genetic link! I guess your children will be full siblings??

@SmileyT - I don’t mind at all! I think we are all pretty open here 🤣 we do at home insemination so our donor came to our house 3 times, went to the bathroom with a pot then leaves us to it. We use preseed lube to help get the soft cup in and help spread the donation then have a soft cup to hold the donation in place and to stop any seepage and loss of spermies! Stays in for about 12hrs normally and this method timed right has about a 40% conception rate so pretty good chances!! I know some straight couples DTD and but also use soft cups and preseed too so it’s not just us!

@lucyrp I'm 15DPO now, one app said AF was due yesterday and the second says today. Took a test yesterday and BFN so 99.9% sure I'm out, just annoying me waiting for AF to show 😩 I just get impatient at this point. Haha it's fine I'm always asking everyone the same questions.

@Newbie0818 right I’m getting the app now too....when someone asked I think it was @lucyrp back on thread 1 or 2 I said I was using the app as I thought I was as I’m on my phone so got confused but actually I’m on the website on my phone so will try the app now x

Another bfn for me this morning at 11dpo. Af due Weds and I feel very due on. I will wait now to see if she’s late before I test again.
Keeping my fingers crossed for anyone still to test. And huge congrats to those who have had their BFP :-)

@KateColx with the beauticians and hairdresser talk I normally have acrylics done but been wanting to stop getting them for ages but I just felt so weird without them but over lockdown I've grown some really nice natural nails I'm so proud! I'm so looking forward to going to someone new for my nails and having these done. These are dream. And they're all natural nail!

@KateColx it's cycle 1 for me TTC #2 but it's first cycle off the pill so I may not of ovulated and my cycle could be out of whack I suppose but last time I came off the pill it just continued to be regular 28 days although I didn't track for first 7 months after coming off it wasn't TTC just getting it out my system so don't know whether I did ovulate or not. But got BFP on first cycle TTC last time but as I say it was after 7 months of being off all hormonal contraception x

@notyetamumbuttrying haha! Everything was working fine on the site but it was so annoying having to change through all the pages, this is much easier.

@Newbie0818 if you bookmark it on the website next time you go on the chat it takes you straight to the bookmark so you don't have to scroll all the way through that's what I was doing. The only downside to the website was not seeing pictures well x

I’m curious reading about these soft cups for preventing seepage... it always does feel to me like it’s all out as soon as I stand up afterwards. I try to stay lying down for at least 15 mins after. Does keeping it in make a huge difference?

@SmileyT - Thank you. I think i'm doing to hold out testing for as long as possible. There is only 1 test left in the house. Luckily this posting isn't too far away, and he has to come past twice a week. I'm not even sure if we really timed it right or not. We dtd on the Tues and I think ovulation was the Thursday and then we managed the Saturday.

@Juno231 - This has 100% been the hardest one we've had. But I think that's because my normal work routines are all over place. No army accommodation for us. I have a small close knit family, so I don't think i'd cope with being away from them. This will be our first.

Well OH showed up this morning, as they had given him a day off. It was nice to spend a few hours together. Half an hour after he left, the new bed turns up!! But that is all put together now.

The cat is currently curled up asleep on my feet, which i'm surprised at. She managed to get herself shut in the wardrobe this morning and I found her 3 hours later!!

Anyone that is temping, I brought an Ovusense sensor and it made a big difference for me. Doesn't matter if you have been to sleep, just needs you to make sure you are rested.

Omg just got the app!! This is so much better! On the browser it's hard trying to reply to people if you've not been on it for a while because you have to flick back between pages!

@Cocoblue22 I've just got the app now too I've been putting up with Safari on iOS never even crossed my mind to check if there was an app 🤦‍♀️ I can't decide if I like it yet though. Much easier to see photos but it took longer than it should have to spot how to reply to a thread.

@2020mission @Vil10 @Cocoblue22 I honestly wondered why everyone was complaining about remembering what everyone said 😂🙈🙈 and even when you're typing and you forget what they said all you've got to do is press the X at the top and then click back on reply and you can continue typing!👏🏼

@TTCmummy2021 ahh thanks for that, I do use preseed and a cup aswell, although was just using a menstrual cup so going to invest in a conception one this month. Sorry if this is a stupid question but does the sample need to be used pretty much straight away? OH works long shifts so means we can struggle to even see eachother when he works night and I work days so was wondering if he could leave me his sperm in a pot for me to use hours later?

@Cocoblue22 I use the website too - the only downside is that not all pics open (some randomly decide to download instead but are then in a format that can't be viewed?). Everything else works fine though so I don't want another app to clog up my phone 🙊

@JustMouse yeah when my OH was in the army I reckon he was away 7-8 months of the year and then when he was back I could still only see him on weekends. Considering we're on cycle 5 with him now at home I can't imagine how long it would have taken us to conceive if only seeing other once in a blue moon!
