New thread for those who were on the May/June thread and didn’t get a BFP, think we’re up to 14 people with a BFP 😍

Anyone who will be testing on above dates welcome, I’ll create a list of usernames and testing date and we will then support each other through the TWW, symptom spotting brain ache and AF arriving or celebrating a BFP. Great if everyone could give a little info about them too!

I’m 30, boyfriend is 27. TTC #1 Cycle 3. Tried SMEP last month and using OPK’s. Not even a hint of pregnancy yet for me but hoping for some baby dust my way this month!

Sorry I mean 27th-29th June!

KatieFH · 18/06/2020 12:19

Hi! First time trying and first month, AF due 23-25th of June. Taken a few tests but no BFP yet! Really anxious and hoping it is still to come! I’m 31 and partner is 29. X

Leobaby · 18/06/2020 12:39

Hey ladies, I’m curious as to what your symptoms are, if any?

Littlebee1990 · 18/06/2020 13:05

@Leobaby None! But I’ve read Implantation doesn’t happen until 6DPO at the earliest and I’m only 4DPO

Welcome @KatieFH, still plenty of time 😚

@Leobaby absolutely nothing at 8DPO Sad

Leobaby · 18/06/2020 13:11

@Littlebee1990 yes that’s true! Oo well you’ll have to keep an eye out over the weekend then. I’ve just read a lot of people have had symptoms from a couple days past ov and go onto have bfp. So was curious if any of you girls have any!

Leobaby · 18/06/2020 13:15

@HellloBambinos well don’t be put off! Some women don’t experience any but still go onto get their bfp! Ive read so many success stories. I’ve been pregnant twice (ended in MC) a while back. Had no idea I was pregnant until I missed my period and I was like what’s going on? Didn’t have a clue! It was after my missed period I got sensitivity to smell and cooked food would make me want to throw up. And then the HG started. So I’m fearful for that for when I eventually conceive. But don’t lose hope!☺️

Fran2020 · 18/06/2020 13:17

I'm 6DPO and trying not to symptom spot as convinced myself I was pregnant last month. I've had some twingey cramps and a couple of days of sore nipples and tiredness. But still too early really.

Leobaby · 18/06/2020 13:26

@Fran2020 I’ve done that before so many times. It’s literally the devil. I try not to symptom spot anymore either as I’ve noticed whatever symptoms I get it’s usually a bfn, or if the symptoms are real and all in my head lol.

Fran2020 · 18/06/2020 13:39

@Leobaby Exactly, I'm the same! I've started looking at my resting HR this cycle too which is bad as I could imagine I could start obsessing over that.

Leobaby · 18/06/2020 13:50

@Fran2020 haha really? What does that do? I’ve just received my thermometer to try temping now lol.

Fran2020 · 18/06/2020 14:11

@Leobaby Apparently rise and fall at different times of your cycle. It's interesting but everyone is different! There's a whole thread about it on here.

sle0911 · 18/06/2020 14:16

@Fran2020 omg I've started becoming obsessed with looking at my RHR although I have literally NO idea what I'm looking for, plus mine doesn't seem to really stay the same each day it differs between 58 and 60bpm 🤷🏼‍♀️ so everyday I think "ooo could that be a sign of something" 😂

Mamainmaking1 · 18/06/2020 14:43

@Flittingabout @Nottherealslimshady thanks girls. I took the frer after that and it was BFN too, I dunno why I torture myself testing so much and testing early. I just noticed some slightly blood tinged cm but this day last month was when some spotting started for me (first time it ever happened and I was convinced it was implantation lol) so I'm not holding out much hope but fingers crossed all the same.

What dpo are you all? How is everyone keeping?

Two new borns in my family this week, one wasn't planned at all and now they have a beautiful baby. Literally every single woman in both mine and my oh immediate families have a new born/less than a year old or expecting. Just so hard some times and I know I shouldn't feel sorry for myself as I know I will likely be on a long road with my endo&pcos but just having one of those crappy days. I know your not out to your out and I have to remind myself of that but this is so consuming some times! Sorry for being such a Debbie Downer Smile

Fran2020 · 18/06/2020 15:00

@sle0911 me neither, although I know it's good if it keeps rising! But it doesn't do this for some people until after AF is due so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Flittingabout · 18/06/2020 15:17

@Mamainmaking1

I feel sorry for myself all the time haha! My SIL just happened to miss a pill and the little one arrived last week. I wish I could be happy for others without fighting the green eyed monster. I think it would hurt less if I didn't know they weren't trying. Not that anyone has to earn it!

It's just I do long for the days of being a mum so much. I waited for my ex to be ready but he had an affair and left me anyway...so now I worry I left it too late.

Nottherealslimshady · 18/06/2020 15:41

@flittingabout I totally know what you mean, it's tough but it's just luck of the draw .

@Leobaby My symptoms have been sore heavy boobs, light cramping, feeling heartbeat in my abdomen (sign of increasing blood flow to that area) and nausea. I get cramps and sore boobs near AF but not this early and my boobs aren't usually THAT big and tender. Kinda settling down now though apart from the boobs so we'll see, fingers crossed.

Leobaby · 18/06/2020 15:52

@Nottherealslimshady well that sounds promising! I hope you end up with a bfp. Fingers crossed for you.

Also, I’m not very confused! I got my opks today, thought I’d test although i think I’m 3dpo going off my ewcm and when I normally get my peak on my opks. So I’ve done my temp for the first time it’s 37.10. I’ve done an opk and for someone who is meant to be 3dpo, with dry/creamy dm my LH line is pretty dark? Not as dark to be peak but to be classed as high. Now I’m just confused lol.

Leobaby · 18/06/2020 15:53

Does it just take a few days for your level to go back down?

KatieFH · 18/06/2020 16:31

@HellloBambinos thanks so much! I’m all new to this so haven’t a clue about anything really. The ovulation tests I did back in Feb to get a feel for it before trying came up 2 days high and 2 days peak. This month was just high and never reached peak but I only tested once a day so maybe I missed the peak? Or didn’t ovulate? I have no idea.
Just holding out for next week when AF due and hoping for the best but am I being too optimistic with presuming it’ll work first time?

HellloBambinos · 18/06/2020 17:17

@KatieFH you are not alone, it can be a mind fuck at times!

I did used OPKs for the first time this month and even though I never got a peak I learned from the girls on this thread that you have to be quite persistent with the testing and you might not ovulate when you think you do!

Hopefully you will get your BFP this time around, but either way it's good to get to know some of your body and its quirky little habits I think!

Best of luck to you and the ladies on this thread are here with you Grin

KatieFH · 18/06/2020 18:19

@HellloBambinos thanks so much! I feel so much better now knowing it’s normal and others have said the same. Not even got to my AF date yet and I’m panicking already! Haha.

Thanks all you lovely ladies and really love reading all your posts!! X

NadJade · 18/06/2020 19:40

Hi all. Hope you don't mind my post. Getting my self into a right state, I'm due my period on 22nd (Monday) done a test today and it was a BFN. I'm pretty sure I'm out this month with only 4 days to go till AF. Sad

Dinosaurus86 · 18/06/2020 19:53

I have been distracting myself by online shopping this month. Wasn’t going to buy any clothes as was hoping I’d need the money for maternity wear, but saw a dress I’d had my eye on in the sale today and decided to go for it!

HellloBambinos · 18/06/2020 20:33

@NadJade was it an early detection test like a FRER or a regular test? I'm not sure but I think different tests have different sensitivities and it still may be a bit early. Check out the link I posted on the page before for stats, you could still have a chance Smile

@Dinosaurus86 I've done the same with a new pair of jeans! Hoping they won't fit me soon but if it's a BFN at least I can wear them longer.
