New thread for those who were on the May/June thread and didn’t get a BFP, think we’re up to 14 people with a BFP 😍

Anyone who will be testing on above dates welcome, I’ll create a list of usernames and testing date and we will then support each other through the TWW, symptom spotting brain ache and AF arriving or celebrating a BFP. Great if everyone could give a little info about them too!

I’m 30, boyfriend is 27. TTC #1 Cycle 3. Tried SMEP last month and using OPK’s. Not even a hint of pregnancy yet for me but hoping for some baby dust my way this month!

@nottherealslimshady yeah if you don't get your bfp this month, give opks a try next month for a bit of clarity.. although be prepared for potential further confusion at first!

Hahah I've enjoyed catching up on this thread today, I haven't told a sole that we are ttc in real life so it's really good to be able to talk to people in the exact same boat!

Thanks ladies. I just dont get it! I had loads of EW last week and therefore I DTD thinking I was going to ovulate at the weekend.

I am thinking, as you say, that it could be about to happen now! Thank goodness we got jiggy at lunchtime or I might have missed it because of missing the CM!

I am going to have another few days of sexing after thinking I was on for a rest haha

I’m in a bit of a pickle too. Noticed I still have ewcm, this is the 5th day! I never have it this long. I dtd twice on the 1st day of ewcm, which was cd 13. Thing is, i had a LOT of ewcm on cd 14?! It’s now cd 17, I still have some but it’s when I wipe. Sorry tmi. I wish I had my opks!!😩

@dogmam the lack of knowing exactly what's going on is killing me! I'm such a control freak and have precisely zero patience.

How long have you been TTC?

I've only told my little brother and SIL, love them to bits and they'll be TTC early next year too, felt like they're the only people I feel confident knowing if we're trying and not succeeding or if I have a miscarriage.

I'm 25, my husband is 47, it's our 1 year anniversary in August :) and we'll have been together 7 years in September. First time trying for either of us. Obviously understand with DHs age it could take longer but he's healthy, never smoked, barely ever drinks, does everything right so I feel really confident 🤞

@Leobaby I think EWCM stops after ovulation so just keep DTD until it does as long as you have it you're in with a good chance I think.

Seems to me like we should carry on having sex until it goes regardless of what the apps say then.

Afternoon everyone, now that OH has got the football to watch I've got a bit more time to jump on here!

5DPO today. Been feeling a bit rubbish. Woke up at 4am with a really awful headache and have been feeling sort of hungover all day, without having touched a drop of alcohol! Have been feeling a bit crampy too. Don't know what it is about today but like others, been feeling a bit down in the dumps and feeling like this month isn't our month.

I think I've decided if it doesn't happen for us this month then I am going to try temping to get a better idea of my cycle.

@dogmam I am 30 (almost 31) and OH is 33. First cycle TTC.

I know OPK can get obsessive but its so much easier than symptom spotting. I imagine id be having sex all month without them.

Mine are still negative. This will be my latest ovulation ever. Its a good thing in a way as we havent managed to DTD much. Well we have but sometimes we are at it for ages with no end result. So annoying. Only happens some months its like the pressure gets to DH. Id been so calm all month doing my fertility yoga and massage its frustrating but least we still have a chance

@Nottherealslimshady i wouldn't worry about your husbands age. Men can keep producing forever. Think Bernie Ecclestone is a dad again at like 80 so I wouldn't worry xx

@Leobaby @flittingabout are you sure its still EWCM and not semen? Think both can get confused.

Someone mentioned grapefruit juice for CM. I tried it once but found it disgusting so only managed half a glass. Nothing im trying seems to work at the moment

@dogmam glad im not the only one whose sticks just seem to change from nowhere.

@kate123cl i think you should ignore the lines on them. They log your base levels of LH unlike other brands so pinpoint your surge. When i had the CB though the lines were about that colour for my static so i don't think it'll be too much longer for you xx

I feel like today has been so unproductive yet productive at the same time - if that makes any sense at all 🤣

My workout of the day was fighting off flies in the kitchen... the kitchen was spotless but for whatever reason 50odd flies were stuck by the window. Our neighbours have recently demolished an outbuilding and it's dumped behind our house so we think they are coming from there. It's a nightmare!

This afternoon I did the shopping and I thought I had wet myself there was so much Cm! 🙈 it was all creamy so not sure if that's a good sign 5/6dpo?

I'm 33 and my partner is 26. I'm 5DPO and incredibly tired today. Got a week off so went to the coast with my partner this afternoon, not much walking at all but I'm exhausted! 😴 I'm still feeling calm during my TWW and enjoying fertility yoga. I really like this group and it gives me a good laugh! Love the sperm pond idea for the next thread haha!!

Im 10dpo think ive had some spotting and have white paste like cm in my underwear...only a tad. Have just read this article so will share...

@Whilstwewait definitely ewcm. Haven’t dtd for a couple days. It seems less today though, I had a tiny bit this morning but nothing since. So that might have been the last of it. Think I had my cycle off by a day as well I’ve just checked. My cm is usually a good indicator for me, I always get a good amount when I ovulate. We’ll see ☺️

Nothing to report here. I think I’m 1 dpo even though all of my apps think I’m more than that but I know I should go by the opk test. Oh, I’m 35 next month (😭) and my DH is 36. This is our second cycle TTC number one. Really hoping we haven’t left it too late. I had wanted my first at 30 but my first husband left me so that meant the baby thing proved a bit tricky 😂

Well ladies I have officially lost the plot. I just checked my cervical mucus with one finger and then slathered moisturer lotion on another finger to compare lotioney-ness.
