Hi guys! Just wanted to start a new thread and meet others on the journey of TTC baby #1. I am 32, super nervous and have recently started to use Clear Blue OPKs so would love to hear about others journeys! X

@PabsyPops I think the cheap ones are less likely to show anything this early. That's why I'm going to use the FRER tomorrow, I do have a stash of cheapies too. You you may be better to hold off to avoid unnecessary disappointment as it may show negative when you are pregnant.

Very true! I've come out to take the dog for a walk to take my mind off it! As it's not FMU either it is likely to show a negative so no point!!

@PabsyPops I ended up looking on YouTube. I now know I need to look out for the static smiley face. Wish AF would just rear her ugly head so that I can start tracking!

It's all so new to me! I just admit that I only very recently realised (last 2 years) that you can only get pregnant in such a small window each month! I honestly thought as long as you weren't bleeding, you were at risk 😳😳

@PabsyPops negative FRER at 10 DPO. Knew I should have waited! 🤦‍♀️ hopefully you all have more luck than me this month

@PabsyPops had some drinks tonight (it's our first wedding anniversary) and it's just made me feel down rather than upbeat wish I didn't take the test! Spotting now. Just wondering what's going wrong as we DTD every day during the fertile week this time and I'm worrying something's wrong after 6 months of failure. I'm 32 so feel like I'm not young enough for waiting months/years. How are you feeling?

Hi I'm 25, first month of really trying, came off pill in late february and suspect an early miscarriage (passed some suspect matter) 11 days till AF expected, really hoping we've done it though.

@2020mission I'm okay...ish. I'm 32 too so I don't feel like time is on my side. We've been married a year too but I don't feel like we've been properly trying as I've not tracked properly. I'm considering just coming off here, not tracking and just taking it easy next month to try and not put too much pressure on! I'm only 11DPO so I'm not ruling myself out completely but that's probably me being optimistic!!

Would it be a good idea for you to do a month on, month off? Have you been using an ovulation kit?

@blodyn91 no but I'm pretty regular with cycles and can tell when I'm in my fertile week with the CM changes and being in the mood so pretty sure I'm covering when I should be. We did have a chemical in January so I'm trying to focus on that as a hint that we have a chance 🤞 it's just so disappointing when you're doing everything with vitamins, good diet, DTD and just getting negative results. I think I just need to chill and keep trying though!

It is very disheartening when you are doing everything right and all this time later not even a hint of a BFP!

@Flittingabout absolutely! I've ordered some cheap ovulation test strips for next month to make sure I'm not missing the fertile window although we do have sex every other day through almost the whole month so I'd be surprised if there's ever not some sperm around whenever it happens 🤷‍♀️

Does anyone have any tips for fertility boosting? I've been taking folic acid and vitamin D for pregnancy prep and then I am eating a really balanced diet with plenty of veg but maybe there's something else we could be doing that I'm missing.

I have cut down on caffeine and take b complex too.

Clearly it hasn't helped though!

Guys! AF hasn't come so I did a test this morning. I think it's a BFP?! Shit! Attached test. When can I do another one?! I'm shaking! DH doesn't have a clue right now. What happens next?! What am I doing?! It's very much wanted but I don't believe it! Help! Xxx

@PabsyPops @Flittingabout thank you so much! I have no idea how I'll keep it quite! Luckily DH is working so I'll only see him at night for 4ish hours then it would just mean getting through Saturday! Xxx

How is everyone doing? I'm on CD2 but feeling a bit more chilled this month.... so far!!

@PabsyPops CD2 here too... oh CD3 actually, just saw it's after midnight 😅 I've started on grapefruit juice in prep for the upcoming fertile window. Feeling chilled too for now! Have to keep positive

For some strange reason I'm on CD38..... AF is a week late. We haven't had unprotected sex so no chance of a pregnancy! I'm normally 28-31 days in length for my CD, so I'm very confused and frustrated.

I did have EWCM when I should have but about 10 days ago I did have another small amount of it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Only recently started taking folic acid, but don't think that's the reason for this delay!

So, AF arrived tonight! Thank goodness, now we can start our TTC journey once she buggers off

Morning all! How is everyone getting on? I've not used OPKs this month and just trying to be relaxed about it!! ❤️

@PabsyPops I'm on OPKs for the first time this month, currently 7 DPO. It's been an eye opener using the OPKs as I ovulated on CD11 which was earlier than the app estimations were showing and that's what I was trusting before. I'm hoping this has helped this month 🤞 I'm planning to test on a cheapie next Friday at 12 DPO.
