@pandarific I hear ya babe, I’m with you on the probs not ovulating I’ve got v low egg reserves so After 11 days of flashing smiles on CB I’ve given up & I’m just shagging away & will just have to wait for Aunt Flo 🙄

I've just had a look back on my previous cycle lengths and it's so strange how one was long, next one was short, then long again. I don't know much about the science of it but could this possibly be determine by which ovary released the egg that month??

In any case it doesn't matter now as since I have been taking supplements my cycles have been more static at 28-30 days.

@Ltay2 ooh that is interesting. Your theory makes sense. Maybe you ovulate later form one side. I only realised this month that only ever feel ovulation pain on my left side. So like last month I felt no pain but got a positive opk. This month I had a pain on the left after the opk. I think i only feel it if it's the left ovary!

@Ltay mine's the same! And on my longer cycles so far (since I've been tracking) I had ovulation pain on my right hand side and ovulated on CD16 vs left hand pain and CD13. It's supposed to be a myth that we alternate ovaries each cycle but I guess it can still happen by pure chance? Seeing as I'm CD14 and have had no luck with OPKs so far I wonder if I'll be ovulating from my right ovary a second cycle in a row and it will happen on CD16 again. I'll keep you posted on my theory!

@SarahTTC2020 that's so interesting about the hay fever link! I too get a numb tongue when I eat pineapple, I also get a fuzzy feeling on my tongue with bananas as well. No idea it was linked to hay fever too, although I get that anytime I eat those fruits whereas hay fever only comes out in summer for me. Odd eh!

@Katao @Juno231 It's so strange! It's hard for me to tell now as since January I have been taking supplements but added some each month along the way so I don't know whether my cycle lengths have been affected by that too. Jan and Feb were both 35, then March 27, April 29, May 30 and I think June is heading for around 30 too as I'm day CD23 and AF predicted for a week today so definitely not following the same one long, one short pattern as before I started supplements.

@Crash1d think I'm going to take tomorrow as ovulation day so AF due 13th June, I'll probably test on 11th as I like to get wasted on that day in between if it's negative 😂

@TTCgee it takes at least 3 temps after predicted ovulation to confirm ovulation so it wouldn't confirm until 3dpo anyway as the lh surge tells it that your body is trying to ovulate and temp rise confirms that it's taken place but it's obviously not clear cut for everyone. Did you do anything strange or have a drink the night before the two higher temps?

Also can I just say that I love a group that cheers you on even if it's just for peeing in a tic tac packet, just finished work and feeling so much more positive than I was - so thankful for all your kind words.

I now have 50 names on my testing list the odds tell me that we should get at least 12 BFPs can't wait to start seeing those two lines🤰 🤰 🤰

So I was due to test 2nd July but believe I’m out. I had the 21day test to check everything was working due to irregular cycles and it seems that all is well so that’s a relief but the levels don’t add up to being pregnant so will hopefully ovulate at the end of June again and try and get my partner on board. As this month he took a huff around ovulation date as I was ‘obsessed’ with getting pregnant. He said we could try and we are but his trying atm is if it happens it happens. I don’t want to know the ins and outs of when I ovulate etc etc so just going to have to surprise him around ovulation date, then just jump on top of him lol. To be fair we do try and do it every other day as he knows that’s the best way, I just think he freaked out this month and doesn’t want to put too much pressure on it x

@lucyrp yeah I got the 3 months for £15 thing just so I could track my BBT for a bit. I can't remember who now but someone said about if you pay you can compare your graph to loads of other people's and I just couldn't resist 😂 you can get a free 7 day trial though? Might be worth doing to get the analysis this week!

@SmileyT that's interesting! I did actually have a couple of glasses of wine the night before the first high temp - do you think that could have caused it to rise the next two days? The only thing is I've had temps that high on various other days too where I've not had a drink so not sure...

Ps... great aim peeing in a tic tac box! I'm not sure I could aim for a bowl some days mine always goes everywhere 😂😂

That sounds like an allergic reaction @notyetamumbuttrying 😬 I used to think numbness and fuzziness was part of the experience of eating nuts until one day I had anaphylaxis 😬 now under very strict orders to never eat any nuts and I carry an epipen!

@Runnergirl1 what are these 21 day tests? Sorry that you’re out but at least you know everything is fine and you can keep trying! Men don’t understand sometimes how much we do and that there’s actually a lot behind trying to get pregnant! He just sounds laidback! Sometimes they say when you don’t put pressure on it it just happens because you’re relaxed and not over thinking everything!x

So now I'm thinking that I actually did ovulate on the 20th but why would I not trust CB 😭😂

@Vil10. He is too laidback lol especially when we are both 33. They are to see if your body is ovulating and producing enough hormones for everything to work basically. My cycles have been very irregular most my life but only just realising how it effects getting pregnant now x

@Runnergirl1 that is good that everything is working as it should and that you are ovulating, did they just say that your progesterone wasn't high enough to be pregnant? That's interesting they can tell before implantation, did they say it was certain or just didn't look likely? P.S Men can be so shit sometimes 😤

@TTCgee definitely me that said about paying for the app, looking at peoples charts is so interesting, more than anything it kinda proves they can look like anything during the cycle and still sustain pregnancy. Apparently alcohol can have an impact but also stuff like sleeping badly or with your mouth open, definitely isn't an exact science xx

@lucyrp well good thing is you had loads of sex around all of it, and if you base it on the 24th you know you'll get a lovely strong line when you test xx
