Just want AF to arrive so new cycle can begin...

AF due in 3 days.

Am sure I'm out this month - negative FRER today and I have the usual PMS acne.

Just want my period to come already so that I can get this useless cycle over with and have a commiseration beer.

Just frustrating as have been taking pre-conception vitamins for months, cut out caffeine, no alcohol during TWW, have DTD every other day, tracked ovulation and with no success.

Anyone else fancy a moan whilst waiting for AF to show up?

@Ughmaybenot haha before my TTC adventure I had so many ideas about not conceiving in particular months because of summer holidays/Christmas/existing family birthday etc. Now I'm like "fuck it, let's have triplets on Christmas day!"

So yeah I think I'd feel similarly to you about 9 months of heaving now!

Tell me about it @CaribouCarafe altho mine was more focussing on when DH might actually be home within daylight hours 😂 as it happens, this has worked perfectly!

Really, really waiting for my period to start....

Funny how things turned when trying to conceive, right? Before I would enjoy my three weeks of "freedom" as I called them, now I'm counting down the days till the next cycle.

@VixFromThe6ix welcome to the group! Yeah ever since TTC (and failing!) I've become so much more in awe of our reproductive systems -discharge used to be a gross, inconvenience before but now I'm like scientifically inspecting my underwear most days .

I think the days just before AF are the worst where you're all crampy and grumpy and secretly hoping you're pregnant but deep down know you're not...

Have my fingers crossed you have a cheeky BFP but if not a BFP then a period that arrives on time!

@CaribouCarafe so so so true... I examine and overanalyze everything now. Every cramp, every discharge, every other "symptom".
It really is incredible what female body does. It's pretty damn amazing!!
No BFP for us this month, so fingers crossed for the next.

P.s. is there a summary of abbreviations?? Being new sometimes I don't know what I'm readying on these forums as everyone just abbreviates 😂

I really want this one to come away now I know it’s gone. Hate the waiting so much, it’s like being stuck in a limbo of pregnant/not pregnant/unable to move on for the next attempt

@CaribouCarafe those kittens are gorgeous 🥰 sometimes a break from TTC is what you need though! The month I conceived was the month where I was so busy and ovulated on a spa break weekend and swear it was the not focussing/relax that helped. Plus now you’re in the new job it’s fine as you have to not be pregnant when you start for most mat leave cover which you aren’t ☺️

@CaribouCarafe also there with you on the dates, this time last year I skipped as didn’t want a baby born at Xmas but if I conceive this cycle they’ll be due New Years and I’m like go go go 😂

@LS2020 yeah I'm hoping that sod's law activates and I get pregnant in the time period that excludes me from maternity leave - either way it would be a good outcome! Although if I get pregnant now, my brother would totally accuse me of doing it just to ruin Christmas for the family .

With so many family events already happening around Christmas I’ll hold my hands up to actively trying to avoid a Christmas baby as well!

Things are moving along now but it’s properly painful. Heat pad and meditation are taking the edge off

Sorry girlies! I've stayed away for a bit because I've been really good this cycle - managed to "not try", haven't bought any OPKs and have just enjoyed DTD ☺️
CD18 today which is usually ovulation day and I'm super proud of how little I'm letting it affect me this month.

Well done for having a week off from the stress @mrswilso, sounds like just what you needed!

I’ve just got back from the hospital after being admitted via A&E on Sunday night - was getting through a ‘heavy’ pad every 30-50 minutes at that point. All much better now thank goodness!

@mrswilso well done for keeping away from it all, hope you’re feeling lovely and chilled!

Finally got my Hycosy date and it’s 2 days after ovulation next month so means I’m going to have to skip next cycle which I’m grumpy about. The good (?) news is that bloods came back fine today.

@Sunbird24 how awful 😔 so glad to hear you’re doing better. Are you off work and everything?

@LS2020 great to hear that you're progressing with the tests - a month of very good wine/gin/sushi/fags/questionable salads is definitely called for as compensation for having to miss a cycle!

@CaribouCarafe annoyingly I thought it would be better to try and shift some weight as I normally start dieting, panic it’s going to stop me ovulating so I do about a week a month 😂

To be fair, I think I might start now. Due to ovulate today and this is my RHR. It’s supposed to stay low until after ovulation and then rise so I’m taking this as a bad sign I’ve either already ovulated too early or my hormones are out of wack 😂

@LS2020 this is exactly why I don't chart - it would drive me mental! Although I have to admit I'm disappointed that you didn't get vampire fangs again on your chart

Although actually dot counting looks like about 3 weeks so if you’re 7dpo poss a very good sign!
