Just want AF to arrive so new cycle can begin...

AF due in 3 days.

Am sure I'm out this month - negative FRER today and I have the usual PMS acne.

Just want my period to come already so that I can get this useless cycle over with and have a commiseration beer.

Just frustrating as have been taking pre-conception vitamins for months, cut out caffeine, no alcohol during TWW, have DTD every other day, tracked ovulation and with no success.

Anyone else fancy a moan whilst waiting for AF to show up?

Ah sorry to hear that @CaribouCarafe but at least you’re getting to move on a few days quicker from a non hopeful cycle 😊

@LS2020 Oh I obviously didn’t research them properly haha!And oh no to AF...just not the thing we want to see b it stay positive there’s always next cycle and at least you get to BD soon again lol and have some cocktails

I’m on CD 16 and still doing pretty well with smep. Came home on my lunch break the other day, so I could be home for a quickie as DH was back too, to swap machinery at the yard at home... no no, come hither my darling 😂

@AKcheer oh don’t worry, it’s why we’re all here to learn and get support! Haha yeah I’m actually doing ok with it because my cycles have been up to something funky and felt like I’ve not ovulated so hoping this will be a fresh start 🤞🏻

@LS2020 definitely! These forums are so nice as well having a chat with everyone!! A new fresh start is always good. When do you reckon your ovulation dates are?

I had a bit of a wobble last night, I just feel really sad that it’s not happened yet. I mean, I really do think it will happen at some point but I’m feeling a bit impatient to be honest. It’s six months of trying at the start of August (albeit only two, three at a push, real cycles I suppose), and I really did think it would’ve happened by now.
DH, on the other hand, has gone all philosophical about it, and has just been seeing it as a nice thing that we’ve had a whole year of ‘just’ being married, just us, which is really sweet I suppose.

@AKcheer yes we’re always here which is usually why I’m moaning every 2 mins as you have to listen to me (well read what I say)😂
Fitbit says it’ll be next weekend so expect will be the Sunday. The only good thing I have going for me is my cycles are only 26 day’s so it always come back around quickly.

@Ughmaybenot feeling for you, I had a good cry Wednesday night about it all. Yeah my OH is very what will be will be, which is positive but also I want it now haha. It’s so hard when you’re conditioned to it not happening, it’s so hard to wonder why it’s not happening when you’ve changed something and like I think TV and movies have always made me think once I pee on a stick it will be positive. It hurts a bit more for me than my OH I think because I’m ready now for a baby whereas he’s quite chill to just get ready to be a father when the time comes if that makes sense?

@Ughmaybenot just went into the office for the first time in months and our accountant is pregnant - baby number 3 (less than 1.5 years after her last baby). I'm happy for her but also part of me is like "how come other people can get pregnant instantly but I can't". Grr.

I was doing ok up until that point.

Fingers crossed that this month is the month!

@CaribouCarafe I had something similar last night - I've just come on today, was spotting last night in the evening - called my sister so see how she's getting on and she told me her best friend who already has two kids and started trying for third same time as me is going for her early scan next week 😭
I don't want to be jealous but come oooooon!! It's like the universe just keeps kicking me while I'm down this year!
Think I'll be having a glass of wine this afternoon HA! 😂

Oh that’s not too bad then, mine are 27 days too so I always feel that’s ok as well. Not long to go now!! I’m in my TWW also but the good thing is I’ve been so busy with life work and my parents I didn’t realise. I’ve been super stressed though this month around ovulation because of an emergency at my mom and dads so not sure how it’s gone. On the plus side hubby said he will book a nice UK break in a lodge in August and it falls around my ov dates so might be ok. Although sad that because of covid I can’t go on holidays LOL

@CaribouCarafe @mrswilso I feel you both - my line manager is about 12 weeks pregnant now and due 28th Jan which was the date I would have had if we conceived in April (i really need to stop googling my due dates from my period) 😂 so think gonna be really hard to see her go through it all.
In good news, had a lovely GP appt and going to get the ball rolling on testing so kinda hope they find something!!

@AKcheer one of my friends who struggled to conceive said it was the month she bought 2 new dogs and moved house is the month she found out so there’s deffo something in distractions!! We’re off to Lanza in September and not happy about the Spain news yesterday 😂 if this cycle doesn’t work, my OHs birthday is my next expected O date so he’s gonna have a brilliant time!! X

Haha @LS2020 if we were successful this month the estimated due date was on my brother's birthday - would have loved to have seen his face if it had worked out, he would have assumed I'd done it on purpose .

I know what you mean @LS2020 . I do genuinely think getting pregnant is portrayed to be super easy and it’s just not sometimes 🤷🏼‍♀️ Glad you’ve had an appt with the gp and it went well 😊
mil pissed me off yesterday. It’s our anniversary today and she said ‘oh well, when it was BIL and SILs first anniversary they had three babies so be grateful that’s not you!’. They had triplets, caught first month of trying. Her point was that we can enjoy our day more (?) and that having the three was really stressful, and she doesn’t actually know we’re trying, but it did definitely upset me and DH. It’s like you say @CaribouCarafe it’s just frustrating when others seem to just get pregnant at the drop of a hat... or their pants 😂
It’ll happen. Good things take time and all that! This month 🤞🏻

@CaribouCarafe haha yes he deffo would have! The upside to next couple of months is no similar birthdays so would be a good spread throughout year.

@Ughmaybenot thanks, glad it’s an O check with not having any positive OPKs last 2 months, is the one I wanted to check most as done private day 3 bloods and they were ok.
Wow triplets? Her body throwing eggs like it’s going out of fashion! Tbf I don’t think I’m at the point where I’m that desperate yet for 3 so I kinda see where she’s coming from but it is so hard when people don’t know. Maybe do try and think about it as the last time it will probs be the two of you and think what you’d probs want to do when you do have a screaming baby and all you want is a good sleep and bottle of wine and try enjoy that way and get in some good DTD practise 😉

@LS2020 really? It’s odd because even though I have so much stress going on I feel relaxed and I have no time to sit and think about this stuff. Don’t even know how you’re meant to feel. I just feel normal LOL. Oh that will be nice and it’s a fun and hot place to try!! Hahaha oh god well you might as well go out for his birthday - outfits and everything 😂

@CaribouCarafe no problem come!! The only problem is it’s so hard to find a staycation!! We only ever travel abroad and I’m actually so tired of searching online!! And hubby won’t go abroad!!!

So decided to pay for the expensive clear blue advance OPKs this month as I was getting no where with the internet cheapies and I’m on CD9 and already got a flashing smiley for high fertility but pretty sure I’m not due to ovulate til the weekend. Has anyone ever used these ones?!

@LS2020 sorry only ever used the cheapies. I'd probably play it safe if I were you and treat today through to the end of the weekend like it's an O day...depends on how much stamina your DH has though!

If you're temping you can stop after your temperature falls again?

I'm not sure @LS2020 I use the Femometer cheapies - I think Littlebee from the June 24th - July testing buddies thread uses them though.

Thanks both @mrswilso, I did a bit of google and think it’s ok as it’s testing for estrogen too. So basically I should have 4 days of estrogen build up and flashing smiley and then a LH surge and a fixed smiley and then ovulate next day so that would make sense if I’m due to ovulate this weekend.

So weird how I got a decent line straight away on cb and nothing on the cheapies!

@LS2020 I know the cheapies can only detect LH so maybe it's the Estrogen that gives a better line with the CB ones x

@mrswilso yeah possibly, I got a peak fertility today which implies LH is high but still feels a couple of days early. I pulled out the stick and wouldn’t have said it was that strong so a bit confused! Just gonna have to DTD til Sunday I think.

@AKcheer honestly think I looked at centre parcs for a weekend and was £600 was like abs not when pools and restaurants weren’t even open at that bit!! We have a spa weekend book August bank hols which I’m looking forward to at least.
