Stuff what others think @unluckyducky it's your life not there's! 😌 hope your divorce comes in soon! My friend is going through one at the moment and it's not nice at all.

SmileyT · 24/05/2020 18:25

@blodyn91 this is basically what NHS doctors suggest regular sex throughout the month, I think pinpointing ovulation is more important if you only want to have sex on your FW and can't be arsed the rest of the month.

Ooh found it really interesting having a little google about gender swaying... I'd love a boy because I have 3 nephews and know what to do with boys but I'm not limiting my sperm intake, any healthy pregnancy and I'll be happy.

@unluckyducky don't worry what others think, it's your life and as long as you and OH want it that's all that matters. Me and my DP have been together less than a year and probably wouldn't have started trying but following MC we are both so desperate for it. I was with my ex over 5yrs and we didn't ever have a conversation about starting a family, I was on the pill when I met him so maybe that was the problem 😂

@unluckyducky f other people and their opinions! If you and your OH are happy and it’s what you want that’s all that matters! When me and my OH first spoke about my coming off the pill I was worried about people’s opinions because I’m still young but it’s something I’ve always wanted so now I just don’t care what anyone has to say!

LittleRa · 24/05/2020 18:37

@unluckyducky I’m still married to my ex too (the father of my 6yo DD) although we’ve been separated over 3 years and I’ve been with new DP over 2 years. Also I’m 8 years older than DP. So I get what you mean about worrying what people will think!

notyetamumbuttrying · 24/05/2020 18:37

Good on ya @Vil10!!

Cocoblue22 · 24/05/2020 18:41

@unluckyducky like the other ladies say I wouldn’t give any consideration to what other people think (I know easier said than done I am also a worrier) people will always have an opinion but it doesn’t matter as long as you and your OH are happy who cares what anyone else thinks. People can be very judgey to others and it’s just not necessary! I haven’t even told my best friends or any family about TTC because I was worried what people will say with everything going on ATM read some forums on here too and some people were really nasty. But my DH always reminds me its no one else’s business and if it’s what we want then it’s up to us! He talks a lot of sense (one of the many reasons why I married him) x

Yes this lockdown really has made me think differently about a lot of things! Definitely realised that you cant plan your life. I was in tears when we had to postpone our wedding and admitted to my mum how we had planned trying for a baby after, she just said theres never a right time for a baby, if you get married with a baby in your arms or a big belly it does not matter ❤️ So don't let anybody judge you!

@TTCgee thanks lovely! No idea what I'm looking for but glad it looks normal for where I am. Yes exactly that!! If it was before we wouldn't have thought anything of it, but it's like now it kind of has a 'purpose' he's really mindful of it 😂🤦🏼‍♀️ typical!

@notyetamumbuttrying it's difficult isn't it? Haha yes you can defo get him told now you're on to cycle 9! I think we have it a good amount normally but I find it difficult when it get to ovulation time to be like right okay must do it daily now without it seeming forced 😂 what's Angus?

@KRK05 @lucyrp I'll try to refrain from using them, but you know I'll probably have them out next month 😂👀 I do like the simplicity of CB, but fingers crossed we won't need them any of them next month🤞🏻

@unluckyducky thank you! I was worried it was meant to be dark for a few days and that it wasn't lining up with the CB tests but seems like it's all where it should be, phew 😅 hard work this TTC stuff.

Right guys I've got Normal People on catch up, OH seems oblivious as to what it's about, let's see how we go 😂😜

Minster2012 · 24/05/2020 20:16

@Ltay2 I’m using CB as I want to get more of a definite idea IF I’m ovulating & when AND I’m so far at holding my pee Cos I have to drink so much fluid due to medical history my IC are sketchy (I’m finding both stressful though now after my 8 days flashing smiles & only feint lines on ICs) so I will continue with both but buy easy at home ICs.

@blodyn91 & @unluckyducky I met my DH after I had skin cancer stage 3 when I got thrown out by a horrible exDP. I went back to my parents had a few operations got onto online dating & met DH. We talked about having a family but decided to wait until we were married etc, the cancer came back before then & spread. Lessons to be learnt. Don’t put your life on hold “doing what society thinks is right/or what is the fairy tale” lucky for me my DH didn’t give a toss about my death sentence, asked me to marry him, We married 6 months later in a ceremony filled with fun & laughter written by us with kazoos hidden chairs by which time I was mega sick on a revolutionary treatment I’ve been on for over 7 years now which has put my life sentence into full remission & we now have a DS carried by my best friend. So we say a MASSIVE up yours to wider society & so should you! It doesn’t matter what everyone else says. Do it your way.

Franklydear · 24/05/2020 20:25

Well, people will find something to criticize you on, I spent years hearing how sad my ds is an only and we didn't have another, I bet they will now be saying how hard at my age and unfair on ds such a big age gap, those tongues need to move I suppose, I just remind them to try to not bite it

notyetamumbuttrying · 24/05/2020 20:28

Yes it is @KateColx oh it's agnus castus used to help pms and increase fertility. I ov early so hoping it'll make it later but we'll see. Made my period lighter which was a plus!
Wow what a story @Minster2012 good for you! Glad you're in remission :)

Noble89 · 24/05/2020 20:31

Hi Ladies,

AF is all done and dusted and I did my first OPK of the cycle this morning so I'm hopping aboard the June bus in Ernest. PS @SmileyT the name for the thread decked me. I swear you're my spirit animal 😂.

I'm 30 and TTC number 1. Fell pregnant in August last year and discovered a MMC caused by a partial molar pregnancy at my 12 week scan. Long story short it can give you cancer so you can't try again straight away which is why we've only just started again after getting the all clear about 6 weeks ago.

I was pretty active on the May Bus last month but took a bit of time off after AF showed. I'm going to be more chill about it this month. Less obsessing and more enjoying trying hopefully!

Fingers crossed for you all!

blodyn91 · 24/05/2020 20:48

@Minster2012 thats quite inspiring! You have one incredible friend as well!!

KateColx · 24/05/2020 20:56

Hi @Noble89, nice to see you on this bus 🙋🏼‍♀️ I was the same and took a bit of time off for AF but now back on board. I keep telling myself that I'm not going to drive myself crazy this month but give it a week before I start symptom spotting and wondering when is acceptable for me to test 😂 x

notyetamumbuttrying · 24/05/2020 21:01

Nice to have you back @Noble89! I'm getting the ov sticks out tomo so we might be ov buddies! I already feel more chill this cycle so hoping that's the sign of good things!🤞🏾

lucyrp · 24/05/2020 21:09

Hello Everyone, i don't feel like i've been very active on here today but the reason being i put Normal people on and have binge watched the whole series! i wasn't ready to cry as much as i did mine! also BD/DTD 4 times today 😂💪🏼🙈 time for OH to go on his game this evening and i'm back on here for the night 🥰

notyetamumbuttrying · 24/05/2020 21:11

It's a great series right. Got a bit weird towards the end I thought tho @lucyrp. Wow 4 times! Fucking hell lol! I miss those days 😆

lucyrp · 24/05/2020 21:14

@notyetamumbuttrying yeah it was good but was getting so annoyed with them like get on with it you love each other 😂 i mean the day isn't even over yet so .... 😉 i'm joking i'm in my pjs on the sofa with a cuppa now 😂

Minster2012 · 24/05/2020 21:22

4 times Jesus @lucyrp once a day for 4 days in a row & I get mild cystitis 😂 if you don’t get pregnant doing it 4 times a day at 22 there’s no hope for us older ladies 🤣🤦🏼‍♀️

notyetamumbuttrying · 24/05/2020 21:24

So true @Minster2012 😂

TTCgee · 24/05/2020 21:31

@Minster2012 wow what a story! Very inspiring and so pleased your treatment is working!

lucyrp · 24/05/2020 21:35

@TTCgee OH was like oh we've done it 5 times today and i was like no only 4 and he goes il say 5 by the time we go to bed and i was like oh right 😳😂 i'm not so sure tho as i'm comfy in my pjs now 😂

Bear127 · 24/05/2020 21:59

@blodyn91 I’m so sorry to hear about your wedding, you must be absolutely gutted 😔 my best friend and bf’s sister are about to have theirs postponed or cancelled too and they’re devastated. You’ll have an amazing day when it finally comes 💕

@Minster2012 Wow, what a journey! I wish you all the luck in the world with your remission and I have everything crossed for you for your TTC journey. What an amazing best mate too!
