SmileyT · 21/05/2020 19:55

I'm 31 TTC #1 after a MC in March this year, AF has just finished and I'm on CD6 and all ready to go for my 2nd full cycle.

This month I will be tracking with opks, CB connected, BBT and following SMEP plan.

@Hayleylou89 only things so far I would say would be my boobs feel heavy and I'm more gassy (Sorry 😣). Everything just feels soft inside I think!? Like softer than usual and my CM has been not loads but jelly-ish like and with a yellowish tinge. Xx

SmileyT · 28/05/2020 16:38

@VP91x blank ⭕️ for me this morning 🙄 how are you feeling?

@Niisa yeah they do say that opks don't pick up the lh surge for some people so no point driving yourself mad... I've got a peak on cheap lh tests and no flashing smilys so
Seems a bit pointless doing the CB as it gives me no extra information but I'll wait until I'm out of sticks 🤷🏾‍♀️

@Hayleylou89 I'm impressed with the no sex decision don't think I've ever tried going longer than 6 weeks in my adult life but so worth it for your 🌈 when is your first scan?

Hayleylou89 · 28/05/2020 16:45

@VP91x yeah the gassyness is real!! Ha it sounds good to me for u bfp with all those signs 🙏 💖💙🌈

@SmileyT I called the hospital and they said they will call me back with a scan date but it might be monday before i hear anything, soo will keep u updates when i hear, got a blood test tomorrow just to make sure im not lacking anything important and that my hcg levels are increasing nicely 🙏🌈💙💖xx

Hayleylou89 · 28/05/2020 16:46

@SmileyT when will u be testing? Xx

Jazper · 28/05/2020 16:54

@WellHurrahAndHuzzah
I've just recently got back in to running after relaxing with it since the mc. And by relaxing, I mean, stopped. I had awful morning sickness and was extremely tired which caused me to stop initially, and then after the mc I had no drive for weeks. I ended up having almost two months off but I feel so much better for getting back at it.
I cycle and walk too and have occasionally toyed with the idea of yoga but never have.
Renovating the garden will keep you busy, and the weather is perfect for it.
I know what you mean about the threads moving fast!

Jazper · 28/05/2020 16:57

@VP91x
Also waiting anxiously for your result tomorrow!
Rooting for you!!

@MrsLLister
Your cycles will come good. I believe it can take 3 months for them to regulate after stopping bc, and you were taking them for a good while. Try to be patient and just dtd as much as poss if your cycles are irregular.

2020wish · 28/05/2020 17:03

Question. Is it insensitive for pregnant friends continually to send private messages/pictures directly to you mentioning their pregnancy and their symptoms knowing you are in the middle of a miscarriage and had one 2 months ago also and one before that. Even after you have messaged them privately before this asking could they give you a few days to deal with this grief first ... or am I asking too much?

Lmac2018 · 28/05/2020 17:08

Hello ladies! So after 8 months of being off the implant my boyfriend has finally decided it's time for us to start trying. Haven't got a positive opk for thus cycle yet but I know it's coming as I usually ovulate a week or so after my period... I'm so excited !

VP91x · 28/05/2020 17:23

@Hayleylou89 thanks hun!! Hope so. I'm sure all your tests will go well😘

@Jazper thank you so much! Xx

@SmileyT ahh no😩😩 are you using ICs too? You've been fine with the CB though so I'm sure it is coming!! Yeah feeling okay! Just anxious haha.

VP91x · 28/05/2020 17:25

@2020wish oh no!! That's so not okay! I'm so sorry. What did they say to you when you asked them to give you some space? Xx

HopeForRainbowbaby · 28/05/2020 17:40

@2020wish I'm so sorry. I can completely understand that you don't want to be reminded about it now. I'm going through miscarriage myself too now and being hurt seeing updates from women in my surrounding who have the due date of my previous pregnancy( which I also lost two months ago) but they don't know i was also expecting at the same time ...
I just ignore some messages now... I know it is not a method but helps me. And I reply when I'm ready.
😘

Renna · 28/05/2020 17:57

@smileyT haha literally the reaction my family and friends have had but I love her loads already and I really think we needed this addition to our family right now. I've deffo thought about TTC a whole lot less already rather than sitting at home over thinking it . Just hope we ensure we have enough energy to DTD as it is tiring haha but so worth it xx
@2020wish yeah sorry that's happening to you hun xx not on .. some people just really dont get it though x x none of my mates anywhere near wanting to try for a family at the mo and they know what's happened but they haven't since asked how I'm doing or when we all had a girly zoom call were talking about pregnancy and babies etc generally 🙄 i was just mute at this point hoping theyd get the point that its hard for me . I'd struggle even more so if they were actually pregnant themselves . Xxx sending hugs and rant away here any time xxxxx

SmileyT · 28/05/2020 18:45

@Hayleylou89 yes please keep us updated 🥰🥰🥰 I'll be testing around the 13th June I think - hope everything gods well with the blood work x

@VP91x well I got home to an IC and it's peak, same day as last month, but makes me think what is the point in using CB as I've had 5 blank circles and then I'll have a static but might aswell just use the IC and save some money 🤷🏾‍♀️

@Renna glad she is keeping you occupied, how is the toilet training going (I'm so not a dog person I'm not sure that's what they call it but you know what I mean)

@2020wish I think your friends are being very insensitive, I think sometimes people unintentionally get caught up in their own life and kinda forget about other people but best just to put metaphorical space between you or politely explain how it's making you feel. My friends did this the other day on a zoom call and I messaged them afterwards saying it made me cry, I knew it wasn't intentional but I just wasn't in a position to do a 30min call about our friends impending birth (due in 5 weeks) they were apologetic and felt awful as they just hadn't thought xx

VP91x · 28/05/2020 18:49

@SmileyT ahh amazing news that you got your peak!! Yeah I think I prefer the ICs because you can see the line progession and then it fades off again at least you know where you stand. Also much cheaper to pee on those to your hearts content!! 3 day stint for you now then? Xx

elliew818 · 28/05/2020 19:10

@2020wish you’re totally justified! I doubt it’s intentional on their part but still doesn’t help you when you’re having to hear about it all.

Wishingfornumber2 · 28/05/2020 19:28

@2020wish sorry to hear that. It is insensitive. Are you going to message them again to tell them how it has made you feel?
@VP91x & @Ejb86 fingers crossed for you for tomorrow! X

Spottybluepyjamas · 28/05/2020 19:39

Hi all! I'm TTC number 2 after a miscarriage at 10 weeks in March. Have had 1 period since then and currently waiting for AF. I think I'm 3 days late, but think my cycles could be messed up after the MC.

Been feeling nauseous off and on for a week, but presuming it's too early for morning sickness - plus all tests have been negative so far (and surely if would be positive if it were morning sickness!).

Anyway - hello! Good luck to everyone and fingers crossed for lots of bfp's soon Smile

Renna · 28/05/2020 20:13

Yay to peak @SmileyT xx

Renna · 28/05/2020 20:16

Hi @Spottybluepyjamas xx welcome to the thread xx sorry for your loss xx good luck x keep us posted on how u get on x

HE88 · 28/05/2020 20:41

Hi ladies I'm just going to use ic opks this cycle as I've only 2 cb tests left and didn't really want to fork out the money for more. Just wo sering those of you that use ic opks do you test twice a day with them? Xx

Hayleylou89 · 28/05/2020 21:47

Hope ur ok @2020wish sending lots of love, they should listen to you but ppl just dnt understand until they have been through a loss... maybe silence the chat so ur not even notified of messages until u are ready to deal with it again xxx

Hayleylou89 · 28/05/2020 21:48

Happy peak @SmileyT ...time to get down to business 😉 x

peonyrose87 · 28/05/2020 21:58

Hi Ladies,

I was on the May thread but AF arrived two days ago so here I am! 32, had a MMC at the end of January. It took ten weeks for my cycles to return and I'm now on my third cycle.🤞🏻 we all have more luck this month!

HE88 · 28/05/2020 22:16

@peonyrose87 sorry af got you fingers crossed this is your cycle ☺️🌈. Xx

@2020wish that is insensitive but like others have said they probably haven't meant it intentionally. Xx

@Spottybluepyjamas hi and welcome to the thread sorry to hear about your loss. What tests have you been using? Xx

Spottybluepyjamas · 28/05/2020 22:19

@HE88 they're just the cheap amazon ones - I think they're called One Step. I did treat myself to a FRER today, but it was still negative. I've still got one left from the pack of two so I might try to do that with fmu tomorrowSmile
