@Skip86 I know it’s wild, my kid’s have been off 7/8 weeks already due to them being off for at Patrick’s day and our wedding so they’ve been off a long time. We also finish up for school in June and Northern Ireland have announced another 3 weeks lockdown which will take us to June, there’s no way they’ll be back. My 7 year old has just been diagnosed after a long battle with asd (waiting on adhd and dyslexia diagnosis too ) and my daughter is doing the transfer for secondary school and wants to go to the grammar altho isn’t working well from home. I’m screwed lol xx

Franklydear · 09/05/2020 13:07

@mrsi2020 asd in this house too, getting quite bonkers without the structure, at least in summer holidays we have holiday club, not the same but workable, home all day everyday, not so much

Who wants to play symptom spotting without a chance, bloating, heartburn, headache, very tired and occasionally sharp pin pain on the side of the tummy, 50 p a guess

Newbie0818 · 09/05/2020 13:13

@Skip86 it is exhausting isn’t it! I love it though. It’s weird because dh can never remember any of his dreams and I literally remember every aspect of it. I can’t imagine not remembering them! Like stories each night 🤣

Newbie0818 · 09/05/2020 13:19

@Franklydear I do! I guess positive, why not!

Mine are accumulated over the last 3 days (8dpo today I think):
Exhausted, crampy in right side to middle (stopped yesterday though), light pink blood when wiping after DTD yesterday morning, twitches/ “flutters” under my belly button?! Hungry as hell, achy, hot and cold 3 days ago (genuinely thought I was coming down with C19!), thirsty, peeing loads, high cervix but hard yesterday, heavy boobs.

Obviously symptoms of af coming but what the hell, I like this game 🤷🏼‍♀️🤣

Ltay2 · 09/05/2020 13:26

@Newbie0818 @Franklydear I hate this game! But secretly love it 🤣 I would say both of yours sound positive but with my past experience I am rubbish at this game 🙈

Franklydear · 09/05/2020 13:33

@Newbie0818 and @Ltay2, thank you for playing, I forgot the hunger and full boobs, I don’t dare to guess, I was so sure last month, then had a sorry excuse of af, looked more like spotting, but no #bigfail, so we decided to take a break, from the internet and actively trying, I know, I know, didn’t last long, we didn’t get many chances anyway, life got in the way, but, there’s always a but, I just feel like I am kidding myself for still being hopeful...

Newbie0818 · 09/05/2020 13:43

Well I got my answer @franklydear and @Ltay2 as af has literally JUST started! At least I can get my bloods done now though and get onto the next cycle after 52 friggin days!

I’ll probably be on the June bus now, but good luck to everyone and I’m still going to hang about as I like you lot 💜🌸✨🤞🏼☀️

popcorndiva · 09/05/2020 13:49

Well my DH has said i am boobylicious today, so guessing my boobs look bigger. Only 7dpo but had a large dip in my rhr which 🤞is a good sign

Franklydear · 09/05/2020 13:53

@Newbie0818 oh no, or oh yes, 52 days would have drive me bonkers, my cycles are about 25 days and feel for ever, we’ll see in about a week whether I join you, please hang around

Skip86 · 09/05/2020 14:05

@Newbie0818 haha yes the dreams are (mostly) fun! A new adventure every night 🤣 and 52 days you poor love! Hoping for some level of regularity for you this time round 💗

@Mrsi2020 and @Franklydear sorry to hear you've been dealing with difficult diagnosis and kiddos at home 😢 you're superstars.

MrsEmilyB · 09/05/2020 14:17

@SandyN89 - congratulations! 🎊

@Skip86 - honestly! It was a proper slog to DTD last night.

And now, having thought I ovulated on CD18 am here on CD21 with a rapidly rising LH which must mean I haven't ovulated yet. My BBT spiked yesterday but dropped again this morning. Ugh. Cycles are confusing! I've attached my charts. Any cycle gurus here??

@RobinRose I get a migraine the day before or day of AF and apparently it can be a sign of oestrogen dominance? Hoping seed cycling and supporting progesterone might help.

@BelleDell - welcome! Where in your cycle are you? I'm 30, ttc #1, cycle 2 also!

@newbie0818 - I always have vivid dreams too! Although not always positive which can be scary.

I’m only 5 dpo so not many symptoms to spot - I’m the same as @Pixielou16
@Franklydear it is hard, hope you’re ok. My girl is ok with being at home all day but there has to be complete rigid routine or let her on a gadget all day. She’s become really aggressive 😱 fingers crossed they settle back in well after.

@Skip86 thanks hun 🥰 they’re worth it xxx

Franklydear · 09/05/2020 14:23

@mrsi2020 we are going with whatever works, I have a boy, and sometimes it has to be gadget all day, mine doesn’t get aggressive but he can go without sleep, our schedule seem to be 2am till 9 am, I am knackered, and doesn’t leave a lot of room to bd, if dh is up at 5.30

SmileyT · 09/05/2020 14:32

@MrsEmilyB your LH is so strong today, I reckon you'll peak tonight and you'll see a BBT shift tomorrow 🙌🏾 sorry to tell you that your OH is back in action today and tomorrow, hope your fouf doesn't fall off. Have you had any EWCM or ovulation pains?

@Newbie0818 sorry AF got you hope you are doing something nice to treat yourself today, what blood tests are you getting done?

Skyla01 · 09/05/2020 14:34

@MrsEmilyB I don't have a clue about temping but that looks like a high LH today. I would keep up DTD if you can.

I honestly think that sometimes cycle tracking is so difficult and stressful. Just jack it in and DTD every 2 days instead! Wink

lorylondon · 09/05/2020 14:44

Hello! Joining the chat late - May bus 3! I'm 40 (sob!), TTC baby number 2, and it's our first cycle trying. CD 20 today, which according to Ovia app is in the fertile zone. I have been using Clear Blue OPK (sticks and holder), but have so far got zeros/empty circles and this morning the screen just went blank. Does anyone have experience with this set-up? Is it ok to test again later in the day? The box said to use FMU and something about establishing a baseline, so I don't want to mess with that by testing at odd times. Lovely to meet you all and good luck to everyone.

MrsEmilyB · 09/05/2020 14:52

@SmileyT - DH is actually pretty disappointed it's not over yet! His 🍆 is sore from days and days of back to back baby dancing, as is my foof! He really struggled to complete his mission last night 😭 so who knows what we are gonna do!! I keep pushing for it but it results in grumpy conversations.

I'm wondering whether my BBT spike the day before yesterday was because it was so hot but we still slept under a quilt? We used just a sheet last night

MrsEmilyB · 09/05/2020 14:54

@Skyla01 - I think that might be the plan for July! Saves stress haha.

@lorylondon - Hello and welcome! I haven't used clearblue but know a few ladies on here have so hopefully they can help!

OP posts:
RobinRose · 09/05/2020 14:57

@MrsEmilyB that’s interesting I did not know that! I have had bloods done previously and my hormone levels were fine. Doctor said I could just be overly sensitive to the increase/decrease in hormones! Hopefully it’s not an issue. What are you doing to support progesterone? I looked at seed cycling but I think I’d find it stressful, I figured I eat a mixture of seeds every day anyway so hopefully getting what I need.

Pixielou16 · 09/05/2020 15:08

Tested this morning - stark white on a clear blue, frer and IC at 11 DPO so pretty sure I'm out this month. I usually get spotting before AF but had none yet, so just waiting on that. Distracting myself by gardening. I'm a teacher and just waiting on a decision from Boris about schools soon. I would actually like to get back to normality - whatever that looks like these days. @MrsEmilyB I had the same the night before last- was so hot that I had to get up at 4:40am, convinced I was coming down with the dreaded virus!

BabyDust13 · 09/05/2020 15:10

Afternoon ladies 8dpo playing the waiting game but isn't it a lovely day to be stuck indoors. I can't keep up with this thread but I hope you're all doing well

MrsEmilyB · 09/05/2020 15:13

@SmileyT I've had Ewcm for dayyyyys now! I'm wondering whether its just all the pre-seed up in there 😂😂

@RobinRose - I drink a smoothie every morning anyway, so seed cycling isn't too much drama for me luckily. Also supporting progesterone by getting more sleep, trying to destress and do a bit of pilates most days, eating progesterone supportive foods like nuts and yams etc.

Hey @lorylondon welcome to the group, how long are your normal cycles? My CB jumped from blank ⭕️ to static smily one evening when I tested so it's definitely worth throwing in evening testing if you think the peak is near. I used cheap tests just to check if it was getting darker than confirmed with CB.

@MrsEmilyB ahh I feel for you both and your poor bits 🙈 maybe have tonight off and then go again for a last hurrah tomorrow morning if you confirm ovulation with BBT in the morning. And honestly, you are not alone, it's impossible to tell what comes off your cervix and what is everything else 😂

MrsEmilyB · 09/05/2020 15:36

@SmileyT - I just want to confirm that if my peak is today, I won't likely ovulate today? Don't want to miss the window obvs. Tested LH again at 2:55pm and it was 108 so I expect I'll have a full peak if I test at about 5pm.

Femometer is now predicting O day will be tomorrow, and Natural Cycles predicts it'll be Monday. Reckon DH only has a couple more sessions left in him this cycle so wondering whether to skip today and go with tomorrow and Monday?

Newbie0818 · 09/05/2020 15:54

@SmileyT 21 day bloods to check if I’m actually ovulating as my doctor is worried about the irregular cycle lengths x
