I'm taking the same tablets as I have been but I take 4000mg of primrose oil and looooads of water. That's definitely made the difference now! Xx

@Missgoldilocks and @mumofboys17 looks like your both almost there on your ovulation day too either tonight or tomorrow.

My OH has been working closely with someone last week who tested positive for covid 19 yesterday. To hopefully prevent my son and I from catching it he has moved into our house we normally rent out that's lying empty at the moment. Unfortunately that means he is going to be there for at least 14 days. It is probably bad that I'm not thinking OMG what if my OH gets Covid19 I seem more bothered about oh no we won't get to TTC this next cycle. This is how pre occupied I am with it! If he doesn't develop any symptoms and gets a negative test he will back in day 11 of my cycle (and yes I have worked this out!) so hopefully he is symptom free and back in time ovulation 😀

@Bella330 and @Louisac93 and signs of your af yet?

@Bella330 I can relate to your eptopic I had a Miscarriage at 8 weeks a year ago and still TTC I don't think I will be over it until some point that hopefully another baby comes along I also think of the what ifs and I shouldn't! Xx

@Danni2019 oh no!! Really hope for all your sakes he doesn't end up with it! I know 3 people that have died from it now, he's definitely doing the right thing. Hopefully it's just precautionary and you can get back DTD in time!!
I've had a really nice day actually 😊 my sister surprised me (socially distancing) but omg it just made me feel SO much better! Just getting DS ready for bed now (early bedtime has gone totally out the window since lockdown) then planning to relax with DH with a cuppa in bed 😂😂 I'm an old lady now hahaha

I'm panicking now... just did my 2nd OPK for today and it's not half as dark as this mornings or yesterday's.... shitshitshit....we only DTD yesterday morning, have I missed it again?! 😩 I'm SUPER crampy right now as well x

@Danni2019 nothing for me yet! I tested yesterday and BFN but then i was only 11dpo so

@Mumofboys17 there's mine attached from this morning to just an hour ago. Would you say that's a positive?
It depends on when you ovulate, do you ovulate straight away when you get a positive or do you ovulate maybe 12 or 24 hours later? Everyone iss different doing temps would let you know xx
I'm getting worried myself now that maybe we have been dtd too early! Definitely going to dtd tonight and tomorrow, my cervix hasn't risen yet or softened 😬 but cramping up now on my right side x

@Missgoldilocks I still really don't know when I ovulate for sure!! I think I'll ovulate today.. I've inputted symptoms etc into Glow and it's updated to predict today as well.. we'll DTD tonight anyway.. arghhh I swear I do this every month!! 😫😂 if I don't get pregnant again I am DEFINITELY investing in a thermometer next cycle!! It's the only thing I haven't tried!

@Mumofboys17 yeah temps is like the mother of it all! I'm lazy now and stopped temping lol but back when I did the day I got a positive opk was the day I had my temp rise, so I started doing opks in the evening before on cd14 and realised I would get a peak in the evening and then temp rise in the morning! Still just gonna dtd till my mucus changes 😂
We are nearly over with this part!! Haha soon it'll be the 2ww😬 madness

@Danni2019 AF showed up tonight. Surprisingly I don’t feel too deflated just onto the next month I guess. I must have O’d a lot later than normal. I’m sorry about your miscarriage too. It’s just so crap what can happen. I couldn’t process it all really. Exactly a week after my scan that revealed it was in my tube we found out my mums cancer was back - terminal this time. “Matter of weeks” they said. She sadly passed away in March but I became her carer as soon as I was allowed to drive so since March I’ve had a lot to deal with hence why OH and I are just “seeing how it goes” it took so much energy TTC last time.
I was using the clear blue 4 days fertility kit and I’m just not ready for that again.
OH is so eager to have a baby and I just feel awful that I’m not maximising our effects for it.
I’m sorry I’m ranting - I just can’t seem to rant to him he always has a “logical solution” sometimes we just need to get it off our chests!

Where is everyone in their cycle? Any close to testing?

@Bella330 I'm so sorry for you loss you really have had a rough time of it and can totally understand why you are just taking a relaxed approach. Please feel free to rant on here any time you want it's what we are all here for. I definitely get everything off my chest on here otherwise I would go mad or I think my OH would leave me if he knew half the thoughts that go in my head sometimes. You both need to be ready as TTC is not easy as some people may think and you have a lot going on and need time to grieve for your mum too I'm sure your OH understands that. X

@Danni2019 thank you - it definitely hasn’t been an easy year that’s for sure. He understands but he thinks having something to look forward to will help with it all. But if I did get a BFP I think I’d be terrified! If I could skip to the 12 weeks part that would great 😂
I agree my OH would definitely think I’m bat shit crazy if I told him what goes through my mind sometimes x

@Bella330 I can't even begin to imagine what you've been through, just wanted to echo what @Danni2019 said, it really is what we're all here for!! Rant as much as you need to! If we didn't support each other then we'd all have given up a long time ago!
I believe we're all destined to get that BFP at some point, just some of us take longer to get there xx

I feel so bleurgh today. My period is ridiculously heavy and painful, and I've got an upset tummy alongside it. I was a couple of days late again this month, and like last month it's made it horrendous.

I can't deal with work today, I just want to curl up in a ball and cry it out, but I'm just too busy. All of this time in the house, and I still can't find any time to look after me 😔

Hey guys I'm new on here.

I'm crazy I know but decided to try for one last baby 🤦‍♀️ my youngest is turning 13 this year lol

I've only just come off the pill (2nd May) and had what I think was withdrawal bleed May 6th till 11th.

A few days after I had some pink spotting.

My boobs hurt so much and seem bigger, I'm very tired (although this could be due to health reasons)

I think my period is due around 3rd of June but not 100%
How do I know how many dpo I am etc as I have no clue about all this x

It’s a big week for me. First midwife appointment in couple of days and first scan over the weekend and I’m feeling so stressed about it. I’m still not having symptoms other than sore boobs and I’m scared there’s nothing there and it’s not developing 😭 if everything is ok, it must be the easiest first trimester in the history! I can’t believe I’m that lucky! x

Hi @katie1109 sorry to hear that you are stressed, but maybe you just are that lucky. I know that may be hard to accept with all that you've been through to get this far, but it may well be true ❤️🤞

I'm feeling a bit better after my major wobble yesterday 😂 there were a lot more tears, a steaming hot lavender bath, more chocolate and a chamomile tea involved, but I got through it! I only managed 4 hours of broken sleep on Sunday night as my period pains were horrendous and I kept waking up worrying about leaking 🤦‍♀️ so that definitely didn't help.
Feeling back on it today and peed ony first OPK on CD5... God knows why, I just couldn't help myself. Stark white, of course 😂😂

New to mumsnet... but 5 months now TTC (although only been using OPKs for 3 months)

I'm currently 10 days past ovulation and have everything crossed.

Like most, I read into all the different symptoms.

I'm holding off from testing.. but I must admit I'm tempted to test in the morning.

I have a 35 day cycle (on average) and now on day 25... so could be 10 days till AF..... saying that, peak fertility showed a few days earlier than normal.

Arghh the waiting period is harrddd.

@Katie1109 honestly I felt exactly the same with DS!! I think it's normal, I'm sure everything will be totally fine, the BFP is like just the first tick in the box before that 12 week mark! Xx

So.. today's predicament.. wtf happened to my OPK's 😂 I have no idea where my peak was as didn't really get one. I also think the 2nd rest from CD19 May have been a dodgey one (not exactly unknown for these cheapies) as doesn't make sense why it would be so faint right in the middle of those almost-positives! DH also threw his washing on top of my book hence a few now have dents in them 🙄😤
Someone please tell me when I ovulated 😂😂 as per I have no idea!! X

I'm cd14 and showing its fertile week. 2morro has a big star on it so I'm taking it that it means I should be ovulating. Im having some stomach ache today and a kind off pulling/stitch sensation on lower left side. Does this mean I'm good to go do u think?

@Mumofboys17 I have no idea!? It looks like cd19 but then you get a dark one again on cd21?! What was your mucus like? I'd go by that, if it dried up by cd20 then it was cd19 ovulation but if you was still quite wet till cd21 then I'd say you ovulated then? X

@LV1987 sorry you were feeling so crap during your period hun x I had a horrendous period on the cycle I conceived, so hopefully it will be the same for you! Fingers crossed x
@Mumofboys17 thank you for reassurance x I'd say first test on CD 19 looks most like peak, have you got previous cycle peak to compare it to? Sometimes it's difficult to tell when tests are dried up, do you input them into an app?
I just feel like I can't be that lucky after MC last year and 11 months of trying! I guess we'll know one way or another on Sunday, I should be bang on 8 weeks then going by my last period x
Can someone tell me what happens on first midwife appointment please? Does she do blood test to assess hcg levels? Is there anything I need to take with me? It's my first so I'm clueless :(

@Missgoldilocks I did think CD19 or 20 tbf.. I was noticeably wet on CD 17 (when DH told me it was like a slip and slide 😂) had floods of ewcm when I woke up on CD19 and we DTD that morning, CD20 was more watery by that point. CD19 it is then! 😂 xx

@Katie1109 Yeah I know they're not always reliable when dried but I cba with the faff of femometer anymore so haven't bothered taking pics for the app this time, I'll guess CD19 then 😂 I really should get better at this by now!
Your first midwife appt takes about an hour and she goes through all your family and medical history with you, you'll have a urine dip done but can't remember if she takes bloods then or not I think she might? You don't need to take anything with you 😊 maybe write a list of questions if there's anything you don't want to forget to ask? I did at my first appt haha xx
