@Mumofboys17 sorry your going through a worrying time. I really hope everything works out for you. It is nothing but worry for 12 weeks until you know for sure everything is ok. I really do suggest going for an early scan for reassurance and will help you relax more. They can do one from 6 weeks to check for a heartbeat but maybe waiting until 7 is best just in case your a bit out with the dates. Waiting 12 weeks seems like forever and hopefully an early scan will put your mind at ease. I have everything crossed for and try to stay positive although I know how hard it can be. Sending some virtual love ❤️ x

Danni2020 · 16/08/2020 16:38

@Mumofboys17 how are you doing today? Hope you have been feeling better today x

Mumofboys17 · 16/08/2020 17:08

@Danni2020 well we went out today, I think it's the first time I've been a passenger in a car since being pregnant, and I've felt sick all day 😂 boobs still aren't that sore though. I'm so out of breath when I walk short distance and my back and legs ache so bad, so hoping it's just a blip and everything's ok.. I think we're going to aim for a 10 week private scan as I want to actually be able to see something but it's still earlier than 12 weeks. Would only be 4 weeks and a bit away 😊 xx

@Mumofboys17 glad your feeling more optimistic and some symptoms have returned not that I wish you to feel sick all the time but you probably feel better mentally when you do. I'm sure you said that you breastfed your DS and I have read somewhere that your breasts may not hurt as much next time round or even with your second they may not hurt as much next time as they have been stretched out already 🤦‍♀️. Anyway glad you are feeling better x

Mumofboys17 · 16/08/2020 17:42

@Danni2020 yeah you're right I did bf DS for about 18 months 😂 I wondered if that would have something to do with it, it does make sense!
Thank you lovely x I think I'll be up and down until I've had my first scan!
How are you doing? Xx

@Mumofboys17 I'm doing ok actually. Feeling quite relaxed about everything this month and have now accepted my situation for now and just have to wait it out. I'm back at my own GP tomorrow to up my prescription again and then that will be another 6 weeks until it would make a difference. I am now at a stage where I'm stopping OPKs and stopping trying until my levels sort themselves out as I don't know why I'm even thinking anything will happen until then and getting myself stressed out. Just going to take this next 6 weeks to relax and have a break it is definitely making a big difference to my mental health. I'm also back at work now which makes a big difference to time passing quicker and it takes my mind off everything and I can have something else to focus on x

Fredthespider · 17/08/2020 06:47

@Mumofboys17 I’m glad you’re feeling a little more positive. If it helps my boobs weren’t sore at all this time around. I bf number 1 until 10 months so I’m not sure if that had anything to do with it. I spent a lot of time poking them to see if they were 😂

Fredthespider · 17/08/2020 06:49

@Danni2020 that sounds like a really good place to be. Anything that reduces stress is going to be good for you overall. Hope they sort your levels out soon x

Mumofboys17 · 17/08/2020 07:09

@Fredthespider I'm literally poking my boobs non stop 😂😂 DH said I look like a weirdo and stop doing it in public 🙃😂 I'm deffo going to research this boob sensitivity thing I reckon that's probably why though!! X

@Danni2020 totally understand, 100%. As it happens the one cycle I stopped using OPK's is the cycle we got pregnant! This whole TTC thing can (and does!) take over your life, I know my mental health took a massive dip a few months ago. With the pandemic situation on top it's just a really stressful time anyway without throwing baby making into the mix. Really hope the meds is just the little tweak you need xx

@Mumofboys17 good morning.. everyone has different symptoms mine are still sore but def not as bad as they were last week! My major symptom is heartburn and a bit of nausea here and there.

@Danni2020 it prob happen now when your taking a break from trying that seems to always happen 😆😆

@Missgoldilocks @LV1987 @LAnna20 how are you all doing?? Xxx

Couldn't wait and got this yesterday so going to book my GP app for maybe tomor Seeing the progression really made me relax a bit first 12 weeks can be so stressful 🙈🙈💕💕

LAnna20 · 17/08/2020 07:51

@BFP that's great glad you got your 2-3 weeks and 12 weeks will be here before you know it 😘.
I have had to resist testing this morning (and that's saying something as I've only done the 1 test in the last 9 months since TTC) . I'm CD 25 and 9DPO based on BBT (which is the first time I've done it). My cycles are usually anywhere between 23-27 with atleast 2 days spotting prior and I've not had that yet. However ovulated about 4D later than I'd expect so I'm trying to hold fire on the testing and constantly knicker checking 🙈. Xx

LAnna20 · 17/08/2020 08:01

Oops sorry @BFP2020 just realised I didn't tag you correctly in the above post.

Missgoldilocks · 17/08/2020 09:38

@BFP2020 to be honest I'm at the point where I just know I'm not pregnant again this cycle. 😔🙄

BFP2020 · 17/08/2020 09:39

@LAnna20 Thank you. xx How long is your LP normally? x I did the BBT for awhile but found my OPKS were positive and my temp wasn't rising until 3 or 4 days later and I had all the O pains when the OPK was positive so I felt it didn't work for me. Did you do OPKs too? x

BFP2020 · 17/08/2020 09:42

@Missgoldilocks Don't count yourself out yet what are you 8DPO? why do you think your out? You can Implant up until 12DPO remember and I thought for sure I was out and wasn't so try stay positive xxx

LAnna20 · 17/08/2020 10:07

@BFP2020 LP is usually about 12 days but that is going by pains I've always had at time of ovulation, I've tried OPKs but just couldn't get on with them (how if AF arrives I think I may have to give them another go). You could be right though as it predicted ovulation CD16 and I'm usually about CD13. I will just have to sit it out until Thursday I think which will be 12DPO and CD28 which is quite normal I know just a long one for me. Xx

BFP2020 · 17/08/2020 10:13

@LAnna20 Ya try wait until CD 28 if your longest is normally 27 and fingers crossed you get a BFP then :) Which OPK's did you use? x

Missgoldilocks · 17/08/2020 10:32

@BFP2020 every month sorry tmi I get constipated after ovulation but by 7dpo I start to get bad toilet if you know what I mean, I always presume that's my progesterone dropping off x

Mumofboys17 · 17/08/2020 10:35

@LAnna20 definitely wait!! My first test was around 10-12dpo (not sure as no OPK's obviously!) and that was a little pink squinter! X

@Missgoldilocks keep going lovely, I know it's gut wrenchingly difficult but please try and stay positive. ❤️ xxx

OP posts:
BFP2020 · 17/08/2020 10:47

@Missgoldilocks I'm the same as you I get constipated just after O and then I get very loose stools before AF . Same thing happened this month I still have it now. Progesterone does funny things it can either make ya constipated or go the other way. So please don't count yourself out. I didn't get sore boobs either until 9DPO that day where I think I had Implantation pain.

Mumofboys17 · 17/08/2020 11:04

@BFP2020 I had the same! Very frequent bowel movements for about a week or two around my BFP, (literally could not stop sh*tting 😂😂) now I've gone the complete other way and can't go!! 😂 aren't bodies weird!! X

OP posts:
Missgoldilocks · 17/08/2020 11:26

@Mumofboys17 @BFP2020 😂😂😂😂 you guys have made me feel so much better thanks!! Okay I'll forget that now that's a relief because every cycle I've been getting sad around this time thinking I'm defo out! I'd rather just be down when af comes than for a whole bloody week hahaha xxx

BFP2020 · 17/08/2020 11:27

@Mumofboys17 They are weird I'm very bad during the day find I can only eat small stuff otherwise I get diarrhea but at night then I can eat a huge dinner and be fine. Have you any food aversions? x

BFP2020 · 17/08/2020 11:28

@Missgoldilocks How long is your LP so when is AF due? x

Missgoldilocks · 17/08/2020 11:35

@BFP2020 my LP is 14 days and my period is due on Sunday x
