@BFP2020 ahh that's so good!! Wish we'd gone private now haha 😂 I'm hoping we can go for a private scan again around 12wks like we did with DS, especially if the NHS one won't allow DH to be there but I was looking online yesterday and I think he may now be allowed to come 🤞🏻🤞🏻
I'm 5 weeks on Wednesday I believe, could be a couple days either side as I don't know when my official O day was, typical I stop using OPK's and get pregnant 🙄😂 the initial midwife appt used to be done at our surgery but because of covid it's a telephone call and then an face to face appt at the hospital for bloods etc.
Bit relieved to know I'm not the only one worrying 😬 maybe it's worse second time around because you know what's coming? I'm literally in complete denial! Feel really sicky and tired this afternoon though 😫 xx

@Mumofboys17 I'm still having the pulling which is uncomfortable when your sitting in work I can't wait to go home and relax and get my OH to serve me up my dinner. I got away without sickness until 6 weeks last time!!
I won't be staying private I will go public for the rest. Mine is a fertility clinic and even if I had gone on to get IUI you are only with them up until the they refer you on for the 12 week scan. I ended up having a 24 hour labour with an Emergency c section the first time as she was face presentation so been there done that I know what contractions feel like so I'll be opting for the easy way out this time

Well I'm no further forward with my thyroid as my level is 7.8 and needs to ideally be 3.5 or below for best fertility. At least I know my levels this time round and know I'm still a bit away. I actually feel positively about getting the results though as at least I know there is a reason and hopefully when my levels eventually sort themselves out I'll get that BFP just wish they would hurry up! But at least I have something to focus on which is good. I'm sure I will get that BFP once it is sorted and is just a waiting game x

@Danni2020 sorry your levels are high, but like you say at least you know now and I think knowledge is half the battle. Is it just a case of tweaking medication? Sorry if that sounds dim I have no idea at all about thyroid! X

@Mumofboys17 yea it is just a case of taking more medication. Unfortunately it can take months to balance out and get the right dose. You also have to take it in small doses as if you take too much too quickly it can go too far the other way. Hopefully eventually mine stabilises but I just feel a whole lot better knowing it is most likely just this that is holding me back and I know eventually it can be fixed might just take a little while. I definitely feel more relaxed now and just feel like I will wait it out.

It is actually a good thing that I haven't become pregnant as there is such a high risk of miscarriage with thyroid deficiency and I don't think I could go through that again so my body is doing the right thing and holding off until the time is right x

@Danni2020 right I see, I reckon you're right it'll just be one little thing to change. I'm definitely sticking around!! I'm going no where til we all get BFP's! 😂 we've come so far now we all really need some happy endings and I really want that for everyone here, this thread holds a special little place in my heart ❤️ xx

@Danni2019 glad you now know what is holding you back and I really hope the levels sort themselves out quickly for you!! I know what you mean, now that you know what is the cause you can sort of say okay fine we can work on that and it will happen, I totally get that and glad you have had insight xx

This month has been super lucky us getting two BFPS so let's hope we get some more!! I'm really really hoping this month I get a bfp since I've had my eye on August for a may baby 🤱! I'm 1dpo today xx

@Danni2020 that's good that u have a reason and I'm sure once they are sorted you will get your BFP too!! Hopefully soon!!

I tested again this morning I have to stop like feel like I'm freaking out already! Looks darker tho doesn't it?
@Mumofboys17 have you stopped testing? I have 1 frer and one digital left was thinking maybe way til fri do the last frer and then next tue does the digital and hopefully see 2-3 weeks! X

@BFP2020 I last tested on Saturday with a CB digital but in all the excitement I just ordered the one that says 'pregnant' not the amount of weeks 🤦🏼‍♀️ so that was annoying 😂 I've got 2 CB blue dye tests left, not gonna lie I was tempted to use them, which is a bit crazy isn't it haha, you sound just like me! It's like complete disbelief so you test again to be sure but still don't believe it when you do get a BFP 🙃😂😂 xx

@Mumofboys17 I feel like a crazy lady but Its the backache is making me freak out and then sorry TMI I am full of wind and its giving me a pain in my tummy!!
Are you going to get another digital to see the 3 + weeks. I think if I get the 2-3 weeks next week I will just buy one more digital and after my 6 week scan just test the next day if all goes well and hopefully get the 3 + week I think I will relax a bit more then!!

@BFP2020 bless you you're not crazy! (Well.. I guess you had to be a little bit to begin with hence the crazy gang! 😜😂) but I feel exactly the same. I've had lots of intermittent cramping. It's not painful but feels similar to AF just a lot lighter. I'm constantly knicker checking and convinced something will go wrong.. I've waited so long it feels like it's too good to be true 😔
I don't think I'll test again as I don't think it makes me feel any better either way. I've kept my first FRER ones though and just keep looking at them to remind myself 😂
Im sure everything will be fine, think we need to take up a hobby to get through the first trimester 😂😂 xx

Also haven't joined any other threads yet... I want to stay here!! 😂 maybe when I'm a bit further a long I'll have a look around x

@Mumofboys17 Yes I think I will just do what you do keep reminding myself haha my problem is work is quiet and then I just sit here worrying

@Missgoldilocks I'm still here, thank you for asking x I'm cheering all of you on still of course, just don't feel like chatting much x we have taken our MC quite badly and now I'm on CD3 of second cycle after MC. Had to wait 36 days for my first period and second one arrived bang on time x I will start opk's again this cycle and see what happens. One of my friends just announced pregnancy which hit me pretty hard, and of course it was one of those "we weren't even trying" kind...yeah right, whatever :(

So sorry to hear that. 🙁 When my friend announced baby no2 last year after 2nd cycle of 'not even trying' we'd already been trying and failing for 7 cycles at that point. It's like a proper stab to the heart, some people really don't understand how difficult and gut wrenching this can all be.
Obviously with the pandemic going on I'm not sure what services would be available (and I don't want to sound patronising AT ALL) but have you considered counselling at all? It might help just getting it all out there and talking to someone completely uninvolved. I really wish I could come and give you some tea, cake and a big cuddle 🙁 xxx
I'm ok, just constantly stressing, I've had some pains since last night and I've now convinced myself that somethings wrong 😭 it's like an intermittent sharp cramping pain on my right side. It comes and goes and sometimes isn't as painful but other times it takes my breath away a bit. My anxiety this time around is so much worse than it was with DS.. I just want to enjoy this part! This feels like the longest 12 weeks of my life!! X

@Katie1109 Did it take you long to get your BFP? I'm sorry your feeling so down I went like that for awhile just got fed up talking about it I was constantly on here for the first 12 months then I just found it hard but I would always check in like you are. I know what you mean too about announcements most of them didn't bother me except my sisters she knew I was trying for 8 months at that stage and she just decided she wanted another one and got pregnant 1st month.. My niece is 3 months now and a dote so all forgotten.

I still don't believe it keep checking my tests 20th cycle BFP 3 days after my birthday was the best present ever. Nausea kicked in yesterday so have all my snacks to snack on now in work today it helps me to snack same with my first pregnancy. But I've tried opting for healthy snacks. xx

@Mumofboys17 thank you hun x I'm ok, my OH is very supportive and I was completely back to my normal self for weeks, just that stupid announcement knocked me down a bit x cramping is completely normal, remember that your uterus is stretching, so you are bound to feel things x don't stress too much love, you'll be absolutely fine x would you consider going for a private scan? Window to the Womb is fantastic, if you have one in your area? x
@BFP2020 thank you for kind words x It was my second MC, I had one last August, so it took us 7 months after that to conceive x overall have been trying now for 14 months, which feels like eternity x Sorry about nausea, hopefully it won't last long! Make sure you keep hydrated x

@Katie1109 Has your doctor sent you for any test since it was your 2nd one? A guy I work with they got pregnant twice and miscarried around 8 weeks each time but they did blood tests and found an issue and she got pregnant again at the start of the year and just had to take baby asprin straight away for her BFP and for the whole pregnancy and she is 30 weeks now.. xx

@katie1109 so sorry to hear you've been feeling down. It's bloody awful 😔 there's nothing that can change how you feel until you get your sticky bean of course, but I agree with @BFP2020 recurring miscarriages and baby aspirin, I've heard good things about this so maybe something to look into xxxx

@Katie1109 thank you lovely xx yeah 100% hoping to get a private scan done, we went to a place local to us with DS last time and it really put me at ease as they're so thorough and really go through it all with you. If we can't get in there will deffo look at window to the womb x
I don't have any personal experience but I've heard about the baby aspirin thing as well, I'm not sure what the link is but I would deffo talk to the GP about it (if you can get past your receptionist obvs!! Ours are rather unfriendly at the best of times!! 🙃) x
