@Beau2020x hope you're okay lovely, I just thought I'd let you know someone I've been talking to since the beginning who has officially been trying for 12 months and has a short luteal phase just got her bfp on month 12 :) xx

@Missgoldilocks, I'm not quite sure I would say I'm ready 😂

Quick question on cheapy OPKs, should I be holding my wee for a particular amount of time or doesn't it matter? I had one very faint line a couple of days ago, but otherwise all stark white 🤷‍♀️

@LV1987 they do advise between 2-4 hours hold with no fluid intake I think x

@LV1987 I feel you. Long cycles are a shitter and makes OPKs feel like quite hard work some times!
To answer your question Ive not really taken notice of holding, just do one in the morning (1st or 2nd wee of the day whenever I remember) and one in the early evening, normally about 7pm as that's when I bath DS so tend to remember then 😂
But I do think if I've had a big drink then go for a wee after the result doesn't seem quite as reliable. X

@Missgoldilocks 6DPO today and feeling nothing either!
I'm so mad my FRERs arrived today - a whole week earlier than they said they would! Now I've got 6 pregnancy tests in total sat in a draw upstairs taunting me 😩 I really need to hold out though. I can't deal with anymore early testing induced disappointment! X

Oooh can I use my first wee then? That's good to know, I'll try that tomorrow as I drink looooooads!

@lv1987 I dunno about wait time but I did one in the morning one early afternoon and one evening after not really holding and I still saw the progress into a positive I drink tons of water daily

@Mumofboys17 oh shit hold off!! I still have a fresh pack of first response and one digital... God I can't wait till I'm sure to use them I really can't! Haha but got now definitely staying away from testing!! Hate the bfns!! I'm pretty sure we are statistically reaaaaaaal close to getting a bfp 😬😬🤞

@LV1987 how long are your cycles normally? Is it 35 days? I tend to average about 32 days at the moment and I think I normally ovulate between CD19-CD21 looking at my past cycles. If that helps? I did OPK's from CD8 as well this time I think, just twice a day though x

@Missgoldilocks Statistically!!!!! YES 😬 it's weird I do feel like this cycle went a lot quicker. Think I've just been busy and not really thought about it as much. Still a complete head case about it all and been googling 'symptoms at 6DPO' whilst WFH, obvs 🙃 xx

@Mumofboys17😂😂😂😂 what is it that draws us to ask Google the same questions every cycle?!? Literally from 3dpo I'm googling cramps 😂 "I had my vitamins 5 dpo I feel sick am I pregnant??"loooollllll I neverrrrrr get bored of it hahaha thank god I'm not the only one!! Yeah I mean in 2 months it'll be an official year of trying, by god I best be pregnant by then otherwise the streessss will be real!! Xx

@Mumofboys17 the last two have been 37 days with ovulation somewhere between CD21 and CD25, so I'm definitely starting the OPKS early 😂 were yours stark white at CD8? I thought there was always a bit of LH in wee, so I would at least have a faint line. I hope I've just been drinking too much and I'm not broken!

@LV1987 it was a tiny bit pink on CD8 but I find the week after AF it's almost like my LH rises slightly.. it's like my body wants to get ready to ovulate, then it drops again about CD12 and rises around CD16 🤷🏼‍♀️ reckon I probably am broken 😂😂 it's always been like that with me! X

@Mumofboys17 you and me both. I really wanted my sister and I to get preggers together, we said from the beginning we would probably fall at the same time. But she's going for ivf in a few weeks which I'm pretty sure will work first time, so so happy for her she's been trying longer but it was nice to kinda go through the motions with her and hope that we'd be together through. We'll you never know,fingers crossed it happens for me and you soon xx

@Missgoldilocks and @Mumofboys17 I have everything crossed for you 2 this cycle. I feel like I have been TTC forever as we decided to try for baby number 2 in November 2018! Then got a BFP in February 2019 and lost that baby in April 2019 and here we are in May 2020 now. As my periods didn't return until August 2019 I guess officially I have been trying again since then but it seriously feels like this has been going on FOREVER. Here we are again going into my fertile week next week. My partner got the all clear on his Covid19 test after his colleague tested positive thank goodness. All being well he is returning home on Tuesday which will be CD10 for me with ovulation usually around CD13/14 for me so touch wood all being well we have another chance this month. I'm trying not to think about so much and just relax but it's so hard after so long. I feel like going for private tests as I think soon I've had enough but need to give my thyroid medication time to work first and hopefully this cycle it has made my body kick in to producing a healthy egg!!! Sorry that turned into a long post x

I'm 8dpo today. No symptoms or anything exciting going on, just like every other cycle! 🙁 I've continued doing OPK's and they're getting noticeably darker now but I've not been this consistent with testing this late in my cycle before so don't think it really means anything.

@Catherinettc sorry to hear you had a crap day, my life feels full of crap days since lockdown began!! Hope you're feeling a bit better today x

@Mumofboys17 same here, 7dpo feel nothing out of the ordinary. Got a bit drunk yesterday had some great sex FINALLY haha and ate pizza at 8am this morning as I woke up starving!

Hi ladies x well first things first, there is two sacks so twins, one measures only 2.4mm and has no heartbeat and the other measures 3.5mm and has a heartbeat but as I’m sure you know, even the one with heart beat is measuring 2 weeks behind, so I’m just not sure if this scan achieved anything. I was asked to attend a re-scan in two weeks time x

@Katie1109 oh love I'm so sorry it wasn't better news for you. I have everything crossed that twin 2 can do some catching up and you get better news in 2 weeks. This wait is going to be horrible and I'm gutted for you :( xx

@Fredthespider I just hope the bigger twin has a fighting chance x I think the smaller one hasn’t got much hope to be fair x fingers crossed we’ve got one fighter x

@Katie1109 oh wow! That's not what I was expecting to read today at all!
Firstly.. I'm not a medical professional, but I have worked with midwives and health visitors for a long time, and the small measurement may not be a bad thing (unless they clearly told you it was, of course) Twins are generally smaller anyway so could just be that? Xx
As for the heartbeat part, I don't know what to say 🙁 I just hope and pray there is some positive outcome from all of this for you.

@Katie1109 so sorry to hear your worrying news this is going to be an horrendous 2 week wait as if it's not been torture enough already. Have fingers crossed that both babies are well and they both catch up as maybe things are just a bit slower with 2 babies in there as a heartbeat is definitely an amazing sign that everything will be well. Have everything crossed for you that the news turns out well. Sending massive virtual hugs for you and hope you can find some way to relax over the next two weeks ❤️ x
