Not sure how often OP goes on!!! Eeeek so thought I'd start a new one as running out of space. Hope that's ok....

@Sausage1990 ah ok for some reason thought you were further on! I'm planning to test next Friday if AF doesn't get me before then.

firsttimetry · 08/05/2020 15:37

Hi everyone!

I've been using the femometer app which says I'm due to ovulate tomorrow.
I have also been using the LH tests which are coming back as low each day. Is it likely I have missed my ovulation? Or could it be late this month?
I started testing CD 12. Cycles are usually between 28 and 30 days long.

Thank you!!! Also a huge congratulations to those who have had a BFP this month 😍😍

Skyla01 · 08/05/2020 15:41

@firsttimetry what cycle day are you on now? How many times a day are you testing? I think the LH surge often occurs in the afternoon so that's the best time to test.

firsttimetry · 08/05/2020 15:46

@skyla01

I am now on CD17. I have been testing once a day at 3.30pm each day I read somewhere that it's best to check between the hours of 12pm-8pm.

Littlepeas2 · 08/05/2020 15:50

@babyG123 congratulations!!! 🥳💐

Skyla01 · 08/05/2020 15:57

@firsttimetry it sounds like you are doing everything right. I would keep testing for a few more days just in case- I've had a positive opk on day 18 with a 30 day cycle. If you dtd every 2 days anyway it doesn't really matter when you ovulated, you'll be covered anyway.

firsttimetry · 08/05/2020 15:59

@skyla01
Thank you! We have DTD every other day at least over this cycle so far. So hopefully we are covered either way! Thank you for your help!
I will continue to test over the next week and see what happens! I could possibly just be having a later ovulation this month..

MrsEmilyB · 08/05/2020 16:20

@Sausage1990 - I expect you have if you've had a nice strong high! My highest has been 25...and I've been testing 4 times daily for a week now!! Maybe I have just been too hydrated? Clear, thin EWCM sounds good though - it can be watery and still fertile.

@firsttimetry sounds like we are in similar positions! I'm on CD20 (usually 31-32 day cycle) and am still flitting between low and poor highs (under 20 on Femometer). Who knows!

vintagemoo · 08/05/2020 16:28

Huge congratulations to all the BFPs! ♥️ What a great bus to be on.

How are all the people testing around 14 May feeling?

I'm 8DPO and still really bloated, crampy and constipated (sorry...). Feeling faint and headache this evening. I think it's just the progesterone, so trying not to read too much into it.

I'm getting really impatient now 😑

MrsEmilyB · 08/05/2020 16:39

@vintagemoo - think I'll be testing around 18th May if AF doesn't show. That's when she is due and quite determined to not test until she is supposed to show!

Sausage1990 · 08/05/2020 16:44

@MrsEmilyB it's frustrating when you don't get a really clear peak. I've only seen it once before in the cycle before last. Didn't test long enough last cycle to see one or I think I was too hydrated too... this time the highest was 71 (on femometer)... I'm really crampy today with back ache and my opk was down to 9.

I think being over hydrated can be an issue because of course it will dilute your result. I'd go with your gut the best you can - although I'm a hypocrite saying that as I know how hard that is sometimes.

@vintagemoo I feel you. I'm a few days behind you and I'm already impatient for next weekend. All the waiting... Its hard. But hopefully worth it in the end 🤞🏻

Hopefulmummie · 08/05/2020 16:49

Hi everyone hope you are all good.

We are doing smep plan but started a day late so have DTD (doing the deed) on CD9,11,13.

My partner has broke a bone in his leg so things have been about awkward lol
Got peak ovulation on test today and have been having pains so I think ovulation day will be tomorrow

Skyla01 · 08/05/2020 16:51

@vintagemoo I will do a test a week today if I don't get AF in between- I'll be late by then. No exciting symptoms, main thing I've noticed is a big appetite but I think that could be progesterone. I'm feeling relaxed still, but time is moving slow-mo again, feeling your impatience!

firsttimetry · 08/05/2020 16:57

@mrsEmilyB
It sounds as if we are similar!
I can't seem to get a good reading at all at the moment! Hopefully it's just a late ovulation this month! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻🤞🏻

MrsEmilyB · 08/05/2020 17:07

@Hopefulmummie good on your partner for still managing to DTD with a broken leg!! That's commitment haha

@MrsEmilyB @Skyla01 @Sausage1990 Yeah, it's just a handful of days but they are going so slowly. I'm feeling reasonably calm, and I'm not letting things get to my head too much, but it's just so sloooow.

@unluckyducky That's so so strange - I had that too! I thought maybe it was to do with the breast swelling etc? Also 2 years since I breastfed.

Franklydear · 08/05/2020 18:31

I've already complaint about the speed of time... Nothing to report here at cd18, don't know if that is good or bad, very little chance this month as logistics had it to not bd hardly at all, but you know if there's a chance, there is ONE chance... pffff

popcorndiva · 08/05/2020 20:39

I have just looked at all my tests again and I now think I ovulated last Saturday. Only making me 6dpo. Time is going very slowly but no signs of anything

Bethy1995 · 08/05/2020 21:51

@MrsEmilyB oh, i shall get to it then! No ides ovulation came with pain never experienced it before. That being said though i am more aware if my body since stopping the pill if that makes sense

Juno231 · 08/05/2020 22:19

5DPO here and trying to be patient. I want to get to the good part of the TWW where I can actually try a bit of symptom spotting!

Planning on testing next Friday as it puts me at 12DPO and femometer is predicting AF the following day. Sounds like I'll be testing with you @Sausage1990 @vintagemoo

ApplePie86 · 08/05/2020 22:48

@MrsEmilyB I'm ok. Was a bit of a shock and have some red blotchy skin but no blisters so I'll be fine.

In other news, AF turned up this afternoon. So out for this month and really fine with that. This cycle wasn't too great and really hoping it was a blip and won't go on like that for future cycles.

Good luck everyone that's still hanging on!

Mrsi2020 · 08/05/2020 23:02

@Juno231 I’ll be testing with yous! Omg fingers crossed xx

Littlepeas2 · 08/05/2020 23:18

@Juno231i will be testing around then too. Seems like lots of us must be around the same DPO!
