@paintfairy well that is what’s giving me hope. I’m so silly. I do wonder if I actually ovulated yesterday after the positive opk’s. We only DTD this morning and my last positive opk was Thursday, so I’ve probably missed my chance if I was. Here’s to hoping anyhow 🤞🏼

@Newbie0818 well we were having the month off so it would be bizarre if I was. Spotting maybe just AF type signs (not that anything has followed my usual pattern). I'm past caring what's happening - just something needs to! I wish I'd kept doing opks now after 17th because I wonder if ovulated even later than I thought (which was late for me as it was). Who knows! Time will tell.

@popcorndiva I remember being terrified of doing anything in the first trimester for fear of miscarriage, including sex! I have no idea why, have never had one before!

@paintfairy fingers crossed your spotting is a positive sign... implantation bleeding rather than AF maybe?!
I'm still waiting for AF now onto CD34, boobs have been sore the last two nights/three days...trying not to read too much into it though!

Oooh things are looking promising! Just had a pretty strong opk so I think I might get my peak today and (sorry, tmi) when I came back from my run today I had a flipping blob of perfect EWCM! I haven't seen any since Oct I think! Hence the excitement and all the exclamation marks lol.

Hey ladies. Just popping over to the new thread. I’ve not been on MN as much recently as I’m trying hard to take a ‘relaxed approach’ which is easier said than done in these times!
Saying that I forgot until I looked at my app this morning that I am due to ovulate tomorrow! I haven’t been tracking so not sure if I have missed it?! Time will tell I suppose!

Anyone getting close to testing time? I reckon I'm in the TWW now but not really sure when I ovulated so will be interesting to see when AF shows up (or doesn't...!).

@MrsEmilyB No advice from me in afraid, apart from the aforementioned accessories . When my husband was nervous we were kissing in bed trying to get things along and I came out with "I can't believe you left the kitchen in such a mess" 🙈 Made us laugh anyway.

@Minster2012 I feel literally nothing, no sore boobs, mild cramping but kinda like AF. I'm going to wait till my AF is late to test.

Im having issues working out my cycles and when im fertile since coming off the pill so im really unsure how to tell.

What are the signs to look out for that indicate ovulation?

@coronababy - I found a really good article called "surviving and thriving in the 2 week wait" which gives loads of handy hints!

@littlepeas2 - it can be so hard to be "relaxed" can't it!

@Minster2012 - wearing something he liked worked 😉 although coming into FW I'm sure I give off different pheromones! He's definitely more up for it today, despite being a grump.

Thought my LH was starting to rise earlier, but it's fallen again now. Maybe it's just gearing up...due to Ov in 4 days! Does anyone know if its bad for his sperm to BD more than once in a day?

@mrsemilyb I'm with you on the confusing OPKs! I had a really strong one today that was nearly a peak so expected my next test to be the peak... It's gone weaker! Driving me bonkers.

Hi @Bethy1995 I’m the same after coming off pill. The textbook physical signs that ovulation is about are egg white cervical mucus, high soft open cervix, some people get cramps, some get spotting. I’m not sure about temping but others say there’s a rise apparently after ovulation.

My story is this is the first time properly ttc after a mc last july (1 week before our wedding and i had the implant previous to this 😣) im anxious but want to make sure im on top of everything this time to put my full energy into health and wellbeing x

I'm now on CD18. Last night was the last BD for us for a while. SMEP recommends another go tomorrow night for luck, but I'm not sure I've got it in me.

So I'm officially in the TWW. Will be testing shortly after 14 May. Anyone else testing around the same time?

@vintagemoo I'll be testing 8th/9th. 8dpo currently but long cycles. One app says AF 6th (wed) but the one I used ovulation sticks with has said 8th so I'll go with that if AF doesn't appear sooner.

@CoronaBaby daily cleaning plans?! But wow i hope your tww flies by! Maybe I should try something similar...

@MrsEmilyB I always heard that every other day is best- time for the sperm to get replenished without going stale.

@vintagemoo I'm not sure of my dates but will be testing in 2 weeks time if I need to- my AF is unbelievably regular and will likely come early and spoil the party.

I find the opk's confusing but i am a serial poas person so im worried ill become obsessed if i start using them!

Are they expensive?
