I know it's early, but I know I ovulated and I know we dtd on that day, and yesterday I could not stop going for a pee.... Like bursting all of a sudden. So I done a test (ebay ic bulk tests lol) and there was a faint line... Waited an hour done another one... Fainter line. This morning... Still a faint line... And then an hour or so ago i just couldn't stop thinking about it and done another one and another faint line. Pics included. Early bfp starting to form? Lines are definitely pink and appear straight away. (only opened tests to get a good picture) don't worry Grin

@mrsgtobe97 I'm really sorry Flowers

Mabeebabee87 · 09/05/2020 14:58

@mrsgtobe97 I'm so sorry 😞 I think mine is going the same way

Mabeebabee87 · 09/05/2020 15:00

@Gimmecaffeine because when I done a test this morning it was so faint I could barely see it. So I got scared and kept testing hoping it would go back to how it was 😭

Gimmecaffeine · 09/05/2020 15:05

I totally understand feeling scared, but I don't think you will be able to get quick reassurance, it's shit but it's a waiting game. Please put the tests down and do something nice for yourself Flowers

BabyDust13 · 09/05/2020 15:08

@Mabeebabee87 I think @Gimmecaffeine is right. I know it's hard but however this turns out all the extra stress you are feeling will not be good for you either way. Thanks I know it's horrible trust me I've been there but nothing you do now will change the out come whichever way things go. Please put down the tests before you drive yourself mad. It's a lovely day maybe a walk will help fresh air is always a good idea 🥰

Mabeebabee87 · 09/05/2020 15:30

Be honest though. It's going away isn't it? 😢😔

TheOrange · 09/05/2020 15:40

OP I'm really sorry if this upsets you, but honestly, I don't think any of those tests were positive

Moominmiss · 09/05/2020 15:41

@Mabeebabee87 if I had to be totally honest my guess at this point would be a chemical. Only because 11 days is a long time to still be getting very faint tests.
BUT until you get a negative and/or bleeding, there is something going on. I hate to think how much you must be stressing yourself out. I’ve been there, in January with a mc at 8 weeks and then a chemical 2 months later. With my chemical I had great pink lines on tests, even a 1-2 weeks pregnant on a digital, but then the following week the digital still only came back at 1-2 weeks and the lines were no darker so I just knew. 3 days later I did another digital, I got a not pregnant, and the faintest line on a frer. The next day af started, just a few days late.
I am honestly praying for a better outcome for you though. I just remember getting lots of ‘think positive’ comments after my second 1-2 weeks test, when really as much as it hurt I wanted/needed someone to be brutally honest and tell me what they thought.
The other girls are right, I know it’s easy for us to say, but try to keep your mind active with other things for now. At least until Monday. Sending huge hugs xx

Howmanysleepsnow · 09/05/2020 15:45

Stop testing. It isn’t helping. I wouldn’t expect lines to darken so quickly (I tested a couple of weeks after my first test due to bleeding in my last 2 pregnancies and it was no different to the first test. Both went full term)
Get a digital and test in a few days. I think you need to see a definitive answer!

EmbarrassingMama · 09/05/2020 15:47

Stop testing! Buy a FRER and test once on the day you’re due.

I bled throughout my pregnancy - full periods every month for the first 4 months - so spotting isn’t necessarily a bad sign.

Mabeebabee87 · 09/05/2020 16:57

Well I've only got one of these tests left now 😞 so I won't be able to test after using this one anyway. I think if I do this one and it's still faint like today's then I'm gonna accept that it's over 😢 I will be devistated, absolutely devistated

OP posts:
mrsgtobe97 · 09/05/2020 17:04

the spotting has gone and it was basically a tiny bit of brown blood, very confused :/ will see what comes of it later but maybe all is not lost. However fully ready for af to perhaps turn up tomorrow xx

Gimmecaffeine · 09/05/2020 17:26

What is the purpose of this test?

Is it likely to help you feel better or less anxious?

I really urge you to stop and think about it. I've been where you are and it just doesn't help, it just adds to the feeling if helplessness and doom.

You just don't know yet, and you need to find a way to sit with that for now. I'm sorry.

VisionQuest · 09/05/2020 17:33

OP when is your period due? Do you know how many DPO you are?

I feel so sorry for you and I can tell how distressed you are, but I think this is the problem with these threads sometimes. So many people get the faintest of lines which in my opinion are probably evaporation lines and then lots of people will say oh yes I can see the line, congratulations etc, when in fact it was probably negative to begin with.

At this point I don't think anything will be gained from testing again unless you do it with a digital one?

Sorry again, take care of yourself

justanotherneighinparadise · 09/05/2020 21:06

Oh OP. I’ve lived the ups and downs of TTC and I know how devastating this whole process can be. Sending lots of love your way. Everything crossed for you.

mrsmummy111 · 09/05/2020 21:34

OP do you have a history of chemical pregnancies? If not, I've no idea why you've convinced yourself that you're having one.

Put the pregnancy tests down, take a long bath and tomorrow is a new day. If you are actually pregnant the stress and anxiety you're causing yourself is not good for either you, or the baby. You've absolutely no reason to think it's a chemical, unless you do have a history of them. If not - relax, wait a few days and text with a reputable brand test. Best of luck to you

Mabeebabee87 · 10/05/2020 08:57

@mrsmummy111 I have pcos, I there's a higher risk of miscarriage with pcos

OP posts:
Mabeebabee87 · 10/05/2020 09:02

I haven't done the last test. I'm waiting on the frer. Feeling a bit achy around my lower abdomen, front and back. And bloated. Bet this is bleeding gearing up to come ruin my life 😢

OP posts:
mrsmummy111 · 10/05/2020 09:33

@Mabeebabee87 the risk is certainly higher in women with PCOS, but % wise you still have a lower chance of miscarrying than you do with having a healthy pregnancy. I know a huge amount of women with PCOS who have multiple children (including 3 very close friends). If you hadn't done such an inordinate amount of pregnancy tests and waited a few days and done another one when you're far enough along for the test to accurately detect hCG then you'd be in a much stronger position mentally.

I'm sure you already know that stress is a huge factor to consider when TTC (and I know how you're feeling, I am TTC myself and it monopolises my life). I am just saying, be kind to yourself, and try to stay calm and rational.

Kodasmom · 10/05/2020 09:40

Hi I hope you don’t mind me joining, I’m new to this all. I’m 7dpo and noticing every symptom, but this happened last month and then AF came, the worst I’ve ever had, fainting, heavy flow etc. I’m going to try and hold off until Thursday to Test but I’m so impatient.

Mabeebabee87 · 10/05/2020 10:05

@mrsmummy111 I'm trying really hard to stay calm. I'm just so scared. I'm not expecting much from this frer that's coming. I think it's just going to confirm what i already know.

@Kodasmom all I really had early on was needing to pee alot. I get heavy periods, I always have. Joys of pcos lol. Its really hard to not test lol even when you tell yourself not to. This thread is just me testing constantly basically lol

OP posts:
Kodasmom · 10/05/2020 11:03

@Mabeebabee87 Thanks for the reply. I’ve been googling non stop hoping there are other crazy ladies like me 🤣 my symptoms so far are needing to pee more, nausea, cramps and my RHR has went higher. I’m hoping for a BFP on Thursday I just hope I hold out, but until I will scroll through these threads to help convince myself.

Mabeebabee87 · 10/05/2020 13:13

@Kodasmom fingers crossed for you x
