@mrsttobe I’m
Hoping it’s a good sign. Yes I had a lovely break out of spots all over my chin :( sucks to be a woman lol

Starting LH test strips yesterday (day after I stopped bleeding) it was a high result. Today was a negative result. I’m
Right I’m thinking yesterday’s
Result was just hcg still left in my system as that can cause positive Lh results? And today’s results should be right? My body back on track lol oh god I still can’t believe this has happened. Everyone is texting me asking how I am and it’s nice but I just dunno what to text back, do I keep texting back I feel rubbish or do I lie and say I’m ok. Then they write saying oh maybe you should leave it a few months before ttc again.. which makes me feel like I’m
Wrong to keep trying

7 dpo in cycle 6 for me. Ttc #1 and I'm nearly 35. I'm glad to see some positive stories already. I'm up and down with it.

Hi @CurbsideProphet how are you getting on? Are your cycles regular etc?

@2020wish sorry for being dumb, what's LH results mean? 🤔 I've never tried ovulation sticks or tempting because I know I would become even more obsessed. Im pretending that im laid back with it all. 🙄
It just seems so far away at the minute. I was due end of Oct, I was all set for a new addition in 2020 😢 x

@MrsTtobe always very regular cycles. I've had 2 chemical pregnancies in the first 5 cycles of trying. I'm in the 2ww of #6. It's hard to keep chipper about it when everywhere you look there are babies! I saw your post about miscarrying. I'm sorry that happened to you. I also thought I would have had my baby in 2020.

I'm wishing all you ladies so much luck. I was pretty naive going in to try for number 3. My 1st 2 children happened straight away (1st was a bit of a surprise baby). Have a new partner now. On cycle 4 now of ttc as just had a visit from af who arrived unexpectedly 3 days early. Not normal at all for me. So now back to working out when my next ovulation days will be. X

Hi there! Jumping on this bus too!
I'm 31 (32 this month) TTC for 9 months! I find it so frustrating! I have read a few messages here and there and I feel the same when it comes to things like everyone around seems to fall pregnant like that even 2 of my friends accidentally got pregnant and I have been waiting for so long 😭 it's nerve wrecking...

Started a new cycle now, waiting for ovulation, I'm still trying to figure out my cycles, they are very irregular, not so much length (between 25-33) but my ovulation never seem to happen around the same day, also my luteal phase seems to only be between 10-11 days, so not sure if it's bad or not.... I suspect having PCOS...

Trying for first baby, how about you guys? Smile

Welcome ladies!

I'm an idiot and tested again today...should I be worried that today's at 16dpo is not darker than 15dpo (and about the same as 13dpo)? My one step didn't fade from yesterday's but my frer seems to have. I have doubling bloods booked for Mon and Weds - I'm going to be so sad if it fades to nothing 😔

Hi all, joining in for the first time. I'm 35, currently 6 or 7 DPO, third cycle trying for #2. Fell pregnant virtually straight away the first time so already a bit dissapointed that it hasn't happened for us yet - which is a bit silly, but TTC is such an emotional roller coaster, it feels like forever already.

Hi thought I would join aswell if that is okay? I'm 31 and TTC #1 after an unplanned pregnancy that ended in MC in March, so this is my first full cycle since and I'm CD13 with no signs of ovulation yet.

Has anyone here had fertility tests? And if so which ones? And how did you go about getting them? I'm starting to worry that I've left it too late to start ttc and wondering whether I'll need some help.

@gb000 Congrats on your BFP 🥳.... I know people find it hard but if you are having blood tests next week I'd stop testing now as you'll probably drive yourself mad analysing hpts you have another 36 weeks left so don't want you to stress yourself out with worry🤰The blood tests will show you a much better progression than using hpts ❤️

Welcome everyone!

@LAG1986 how annoying, stick with us, a supportive bunch 😘
@lilypad88 I think that's the joys of our age group all trying it makes you see. With DS1 when I was pregnant my friend was going through ivf after trying for years and I felt terrible guilty until she announced she was pregnant too half way through my pregnancy!
@gb000 dont forget the line develops more after a few hours, kinda expires type thing so if you're comparing the lines now they'll be different. Trust me I took one a day with DS1 and turnt psycho!!! 🤣
@ivyninja @SmileyT welcome and good luck xxx

On another note. My sick bug from 2-4dpo has returned. Feel terribly nauseous and trying not to get excited. 7dpo and another week until af!!!

@babyG123 sorry you are feeling poorly! That's interesting about the lines...I had never thought of that! So my older ones could have gotten darker?

lilypad88 · 01/05/2020 09:03

@gb000 maybe your urine wasn't as concentrated as for the other test? Has the line changed after a bit of time now? Fingers crossed it will be all good at your blood test 🤞🏻

gb000 · 01/05/2020 09:09

@lilypad88 maybe, but I used FMU for both (though I suppose that must vary & can't be identical every day!).

I've looked at the tests again and now the one from this morning looks ever so slightly darker, closer to 15Dpo...what do you think? God this is a mindf*ck...

@gb000 yes they get darker. Coming from a girl who stored all her tests the whole pregnancy 🤣

The ovulation sticks I have to say look at exactly 5 mins after you've used them as they get darker too.

@gb000 yea they look nearly identical to me too! The line is still very much present regardless of it's intensity compare to 15 DPO. It doesn't look like it's fading away to me

Hi everyone, jumping in to join this thread!
I’m 32, fell pregnant in November, had a MMC in January and it took ten weeks for my period to return. So I’ve had one cycle and I’m pretty sure AF is on its way now. Gutted, as we both thought I might have been pregnant as I’ve had some symptoms the same as the last time.

Thanks @lilypad88 and @babyG123. I will keep my fingers crossed for my bloods. Might do another clearblue on Sunday to see if it reads 2-3 but I've read those are notoriously inaccurate so might just send me off into a spiral.

I can't believe how emotional/irrational I feel about this - I'm a lawyer IRL and I swear not this crazy!!

@peonyrose87, sorry for your loss. That must have been horrific. Hang in there - early days for your new cycles trying! 💐💐

@gb000 thank you! It was tough-we found out at a private scan at 11 weeks after having had an early scan at 7 weeks where all was well. Didn’t help it took so long for my period to return, but things seem to be getting back to normal now. Congratulations on your BFP!! The tests definitely change over time when left out so please don’t analyse them too much!! Sending lots of positive wishes Flowers

@gb000 with clear blue ones you add 2 weeks to what it says. It says that in tiny writing that no one reads!

@babyG123 haha don't worry I know - I just mean that last Sunday it said 1-2 (so I was 3-4 weeks) and logically this Sunday, a week later, it should read 2-3 (so 4-5 weeks). This weekend is gonna be fun 🙄
