@Babyboom1990 congrats! I've officially lost the plot at a first glance I saw the surface behind your test as a baby scan 😂🤦🏼‍♀️

@Babyboom1990 mine looked like this on Tuesday morning at 13DPO...terrified that when I test tomorrow they will be fainter but only time will tell. This is such a rollercoaster already!! How many DPO are you?

@MrsTtobe that sounds awful :( I was 7 weeks. Ok still in shock because my epu unit and friends where telling me mine didn’t sound like a miscarriage and that I will be grand so I sat for 6 days crying wondering if I was still pregnant or I had miscarried before I had minimal pain and bleed slowly for 5 days barely filling a pad over the course of 24 hrs and tiny tiny clots so some part of me hoped I was still pregnant going to my scan yesterday. My partner was more in shock because he didn’t believe I was miscarrying at all :( he thought I was being dramatic and it was just a bit of blood after intercourses. Needless to say he is trying is best now to comfort me. I’ve rang me doctor crying asking them can they refer me or prescribe me progesterone for my cervix for next pregnancy in case I do have an incompetent cervix that is being irritated. She is going to look into it for me and speak with gynae.

I know what you mean my next pregnancy is going to be filled with so much worry and anxiety I don’t think il be letting me other half anywhere near me for sex lol

Woohoo @Babyboom1990 can't argue with a digi!
So exciting. Are you planning to keep testing for a while or just stop? Talking to a friend yday who is 14 weeks and she said after ONE test she stopped. I wish i had that self control Confused

@Babyboom1990 thank you for chosing a different background on the recent pic 🤣
So pleased for you. What cycle is this for you?

@gb000 I took about 20 with DS1 even after a private scan too 🤣

@2020wish oh my God, that's so similar to me. I bled very lightly, few small clots but barely anything at all for 5 days with no pain. I had a private scan at 8+2 and all was fine then started losing pinky/ brown discharge at 11+2. Rang EPU they told me it would most probably be nothing to worry about. My partner also thought I was completely overreacting when he saw how little I was losing. (Yes i showed him) Then on the 6 the day of losing pink it all happened really quickly. Very light cramping but the bleeding was so bad I ended up in A&E.
I really do want to try again and im really trying to be positive but I'm petrified. You hear so many stories of multiple miscarriages. Im completely anxious already and not even pregnant. 🙈 x

@MrsTtobe oh how awful :( I know what you mean I want to be pregnant so badly but at the same time I’m so scared and know I won’t be a let settle the whole pregnancy until it is born. You just never know. I wonder how much an ultra sound machine is to buy and keep in the house lol think I’m going to have to take out a loan cAuse I see that as the only way I will feel at ease lol

@2020wish do you think you will start ttc straight away again then? Keeping my fingers crossed for us both? Is it your first baby? How old are you? Im 35 and feel like I'm quickly running out of time.
I know I will be paying for a scan every week. 😂 x

@MrsTtobe yes I’ve started temping from today .
I’m 31, 32 this year. I have a 9 year old daughter to an ex partner. We have been ttc our first together from November. I feel my clock is running out also as I started my period at 7 :( so I’m expecting menopause a lot sooner. Plus I want to have a new baba in my early 30s so I can enjoy them more and my daughter is begging for a new sibling. My wedding is also booked for 2 years away so I want to have a baby before then with enough time to get back in shape for my dress lol I’ve put so much pressure on myself. How about you? Have you anymore?

@Babyboom1990 aww so happy for you!!! I wish you the healthiest pregnancy !

@Babyboom1990 are you going to get bloods done? Think I'm going to go on Monday (assuming a test before then doesn't reveal the lines getting lighter/disappearing, touch wood)

@Babyboom1990 totally, it's a weird time. My doc said that lots of private blood test places, if you can do that, are able to get you in & out super quick so less waiting around. I'm probably going to take that option even though it's obviously more ££...

@Babyboom1990 no not at all. My gynae offered me the option and I originally said no on Monday morning when we spoke but then when I got a fainter line on Monday night (I think bc of diluted urine or at least I hope...) I changed my mind. He said they really weren't essential but you can do them for peace of mind to show that your HCG levels are at an appropriate stage for the week of pregnancy you're in. Or you can do two 48 hrs apart to check they're rising. But that starts to get even more ££ cos I'm not sure the NHS will do that for you if you aren't high risk...

@Babyboom1990 haha yeah I mean I would call and just see what they recommend. Yes I'm going to test tomorrow with a FRER and hopefully see a darker line. Wish me luck, I feel extremely nervous which is kinda weird. I think I just can't believe it still 🤷🏼‍♀️

@KatieK1985 it's so frustrating isn't it! Are you seeking any advice from your gp? That's my plan after lockdown if we don't catch before then xx

gb000 · 30/04/2020 06:36

OK ladies, what do you think...tested again this morning (15dpo) & my FRER looks broadly the same as it did on 13Dpo...maybe a smidge darker?? Thoughts? Pics are 13Dpo at top and today's at bottom!

The good thing is I also tested on OneStep & Sainsbury's & those were way darker then the weekend so I'm hoping that means my levels are going up?? Argh! Such a mental game...

@2020wish we started trying Oct, then I got caught end of January. It doesn't sound like a long time but it felt like an eternity every month. My periods are pretty regular... 26-28 days so I'm just hoping everything with my cycle goes back to normal. 🙏
Ive got 2 children. A 14 year old from a previous relationship and a 2 year old. They were both unplanned and I fell pregnant on the pill with my eldest. Then this one we really desperately wanted, actively tried for, I take all the vitamins etc and it ends in miscarriage. 😢 x

@MrsTtobe I feel you . I was on the pill when I feel pregnant with my daughter. Didn’t joy want a baby then, only with her dad 9 months but she’s here and she’s perfect. This baby we are ttc is so wanted right now, we even pushed our wedding back a year to so we could ttc. We caught on jan and few days later tests neg and af came and then in March, but sadly only got to 6+2 :( trying everything imaginable ttc. Feels like forever. We will get our babies

@2020wish aww our stories sound so similar.
Definitely a positive that you are getting caught so quickly. How you feeling now? Ive had a lovely outbreak of spots (like I haven't been through enough) and I'm just hoping it's a sign my hormones are doing something productive. 🤣
Yes we will, it's so nice to chat to women in the same boat isn't it. Makes me feel so much better. We can go through the ups and downs together each month. ❤
