I’m out for March as just got af and have long cycles.

Hi ladies I'm new on here. Af due 21st! This will be baby number 5 for me, I have 4 with my ex husband, ages 8-15! Me and my partner have been talking for ages about having a little one of our own to complete our family so we've decided to start trying so this is our first month. Has anyone else got older children? I'm excited to be ttc but a little anxious as I've not had a baby in the house for a long time and I'm not as young as I was when I had my other children lol. Xx

Hi all, jumping back on here as hoping April is our month. Been TTC for 3 months now so 3rd time lucky hopefully. Decided to try using OPKs this time round as it looks like I’ve probably been ovulating earlier or later than my app predictions. I’ve been worried all week as I’ve been using the clear blue 2 most fertile day tests and had nothing, only had two sticks left but this morning I got the smiley face. Never been so happy and relieved. DTD yesterday so will continue today and tomorrow so fingers crossed.

@mama8585 Hi! I have no children as yet but am one of 6, my mum had 5 of us then when she was 40 a wee surprise came along. My sister was born when I was 12 so there was a big age gap but this probably helped my mum out more since me and my brother were there and old enough to help out. My sister is now 19 and she’s my best friend despite the age gap, we do everything together.

@mama8585 it’s my first time trying to convince ever, all I know is there’s ) years between my sister and I and my mum said she liked the gap as I was at school and able to get dressed etc so it was easier for her. As a sibling I loved having a baby sister. We’ve never argued either because as children there wasn’t any rivalry or competitions as we weren’t into the same things at the same time. Good luck ! I hope you get your BFP soon.

@Sdoo4 fingers crossed 3rd month lucky for you! I haven’t tried the clearblue tests. I got a box from amazon a company called femometer. If you end up needing to test again maybe give those a try?

So when is everyone pregnancy testing ?

Good morning ladies 😊 so I woke up to af this morning, as I expected. It looks like I ovulated around the 15th rather than the 8th but I was poorly around then so my body obviously delayed things... I did have the crampy ovulation feeling but didn't do opk to confirm or anything and we didn't DTD either.

So now I can draw a line and am looking ahead to my next fertile window 👍🏻 I think for me keeping stress levels down is going to be key to help timely ovulation.

@crash1d I think I might test 2 weeks tomorrow - Easter Sunday! (I’ve actually forgotten it’s Easter with everything going on!). That’s if AF hasn’t arrived 😬 I have got early detection tests but I’ve tested before on frers when I definitely wasn’t pregnant and saw faint lines so really want it to be dark and certain if it’s going to happen.

How about you? ✨

I'm not sure when to test. I got some first response tests and currently 7DPO. Driving myself up the wall symptom spotting 🙈 tired, thirsty, needing to pee more, insomnia and nausea during the night last night then DP says this morning my nipples look darker 😂 dr google reckons these are all early signs but I don't want to get my hopes up! Boobs deffo not tender and that's supposed to be a common sign.

What's everyone else like symptom wise and how many DPO?

@OrangeJ oh Easter time I forgot about that too lol. A friend had to remind me it was Friday yesterday, I had no ideas 😂.
AF is due on the 8th. Not sure if I should test on the day or wait till 5 days after. If I do we will both be testing on the 13th! I know what you mean about early detection. I took a digital one once it flashed pregnant - not- pregnant... repeatedly! Lol I was due for surgery so didn’t mind the not pregnant result it ended up being.

So today I’m 3DPO if I’m going by positive OPK and cramping/pains etc, and am hugely over-thinking things already! This is going to be a long 2WW! We DTD 21st, 22nd, 24th & 25th and I believe ovulation occurred on the 25th (peak OPKs on evening of 24th & morning of 25th with cramping etc), but due to others things & tiredness haven’t managed it again for last 2 nights. Do you think it matters that we didn’t BD after suspected ovulation? 🤔

@littletandme yes I can see it! What test did you use? I'm 9dpo and took a cheap test strip this morning. I squinted so hard and thought I could see a line, but deffo think it was just an evap!

I have just ordered some first response tests from Amazon which will arrive monday. I felt guilty ordering unnecessarily but figured if they are still delivering I want to support the drivers wages 🙈

So I'm 9dpo and have just experienced some twinges/cramps low down in my tummy, really hoping its implantation, fingers crossed.

@myhappystreak I did experience exactly this when I got pregnant last time!

I tell you girls. According to my opk I ovulated today (I can confirm, I have been cramping and all) so on the cd12, two days later than last cycle. We did bd for last 5 nights plus just now. I will keep my fingers crossed 🤞➕.... But now I will try not to have sex as apparently it can be detrimental to implantation... That's going to be hard!

It is my 4th month trying and I am absolutely desperate!

This is my second cycle and I'm ovulating exact same day as you!!!! :-)

Just got my peak OPK yesterday and have the most unbearable ovulation pains right now. Do you have any?

What days have you DTD? I've managed last 2 days and will BD again tonight. Not sure if it's worth trying tomorrow as well or if today is last chance?

But i had tons of sex last 5 days so I am just praying now...

Did any of you tried taking baby aspirin? I read some excellent studies that it helps in improving the chances... I am considering taking it.

BFP!! Cycle 3, using OPKs and temping but no pre-seed.

DTD CD10, 11, 13 & 14. Ovulated on CD14.
