3DPO and feeling poorly 😔 TWW buddies?

3DPO and feeling generally shit. Tiny little stabbing pains in my pubic area and my lower back is killing. Feeling sick and generally full. Have a feeling I'm just getting a bug but can't help wondering if it's something else. I know 3DPO is far too early for any kind of symptoms but its always in the back of my mind 🤷🏼‍♀️
Anyone else's AF due around 21st feb?

Well we said we weren't going to try again and then like an arsehole I bought a massive box of OPKS and HGC tests off amazon. 😜💀 still not sure what we are doing but I'm testing like an idiot again. I think the problems have been on my side because my cycles are a bit all
Over the shop. This period was a few days late, heavy but no cramps and then completely stopped after 3 days? Very short. Then we DTD on CD5 and I had some heavy spotting immediately afterwards which I initially assumed was AF returning but it was just post coital spotting. So now I've decided I have something very wrong with me. 🙈 probably mostly that I need a kick in the bum into Reality Land but hey ho here we are muddling along!

Girls I'm rubbish with ovulation etc etc I've not used any OPKs or anything but can someone explain CM to me? Today I've had noticeably more CM, I'd probably say it's EWCM, what does that mean in terms of ovulation? And does that mean tonight is a good time to DTD?

Hey @Twitchett22 I had it a few days before my positive OPK, I think it's a good sign to DTD!! I had ewcm on cd 10 & 11 and now a positive OPK on cd13 so I'm predicting I'll ovulate tomorrow cd14 xxx

Hi everyone! Well this is my first month using ovulation strips... I did the first one yesterday even though it was only day 9 of my cycle so probably too early I thought. But today I have just got a positive (at least I think so!) So glad I didn't start later! 😁 This is positive right? I've been squinting at the lines for ages...

I had a feeling I ovulated earlier than ovia predicted last month so good to have it confirmed!

Hi @Nora11 I haven't used those strips so I'm not totally sure but both lines look the same so I suppose it is positive?

I've had my 6th flashing smiley today, was expecting a static today but hopefully tomorrow!

@Nora11 definitely positive. That's why it is so important to do them pretty much straight after your period when using them for the first time. Get baby dancing!

Hey I had my positive ovulation test yesterday, DTD Friday, Sunday and yesterday (monday). Really want to DTD today but I'm conscious my DP's sperm need to build up and we're planning on DTD tomorrow morning. However it feels weird to not do it today as today is the expected day of ovulation. My day of ovulation was meant to be yesterday but didn't get my positive OPK until yesterday.... anyone else really overthink it?

@AliSxo oh totally I'm the same reading so much into the smiley faces and was so disappointed to get the flashing today instead of static even though I'll probably just get it tomorrow morning and it's still fine!

Yeah we decided to dtd every day this week. Not sure about allowing time to build up I've read so many mixed things but that's our choice this month anyway. I just thought it's worth a try!

@AliSxo why wouldn't you do it today?! Unless he has a low sperm count or issues you should be doing it as much as possible over your fertile period. If he's 'normal' it's actually better to do it daily over this period for you guys, this is backed by Robert Winston and he's a legend so I'd go for it! Your be crazy not too, it doesn't need to build up does it? He has millions of sperm?!

@Fifol I think alot of people think it's a mixed message but it's actually very clear. It's only if the man has issues that fertility clinics ect advise every other day. The more sex the more likely to get pregnant otherwise 😉

@AliSxo remind him that it'll be very sparse once you've got a newborn. And if your like me and sick as a dog for the first 4 months, it'll be a virtual desert for the next 18 months post positive test 😂

The more sex you have , the more likely you are going to get pregnant, espe over this Fertile period, but also through out the month as well as ovulation can jump around and the strips arnt a complete fail safe.

I wore myself out one month so I'm def a bit more relaxed this month but as I'm getting into the fertile window I will def be having sex at least once a day for the next week

Yeah, I've read every other day is better but then so much other advice contradicts that it's so hard trying to plan it, especially when ovulation dates change xx my Flo planner is attached, the hearts indicate where we've DTD so far, ovulation was meant to be yesterday but it's today

Hi everyone is it okay for me to join? I’m on clomid, cycle 4 of trying but I didn’t ovulate the first two cycles so really cycle 2 trying. I’d anyone else on clomid? Currently 9dpo... I’m actually not wanting to think about testing

@ttc999 I'm not on clomid, how are you finding it? 9DPO is really early, don't test yet!! Easier said than done I've tested before at 3dpo 😂 xxx

Haha yeah no it’s been hard before... Test date is Friday I think but I’m not fussed about finding out it’s weird... clomid has helped me ovulate so at least I can time it. Anyone that’s been pregnant before, what have implantation cramps felt like?

finally got a positive smiley OPK today (CD13), thank f**K because I was seriously freaking out at the prospect of potentially 2 consecutive months without ovulation. so for me looks like the ovia app is more accurate than Flo.

i think the every other day thing is the "safe bet" for people who aren't tracking their ovulation / cycles and it covers all the bases, as sperm can live up to 5 days, so by having sex every other day there's still a high chance of catching the egg?

hi @ttc999 i didn't have ANY symptoms with my first (and only) pregnancy, just that my period was late.... and even then i needed a clear blue test to confirm as the cheapies all came up negative. how are you finding clomid? do you feel more hormonal?

@inahaze thanks... I think 🙈. It's probably just one more cycle but I'm crossing everything for this one. Except my legs 😂

@ttc999 ive been pregnant before, I've never had implantation cramps but I had implantation spotting with 4 pregnancies but nothing at all with the last one. The only real symptom I ever had before AF was a sort of buzzing in my uterus, like it had been turned on. Nausea, boobs, etc, I never noticed those until well into the second or third months. X

Thanks for your replies everyone! I’m fine on the clomid it hasn’t actually affected me... only concern is hubby’s going to cancun so we’re out for 3 months and I don’t know much about the reliability of the zika sperm testing...

i had the craziest stitch like feeling on my right hand side yesterday, could only think it was ovulation pain?

@inahaze I'm cd15 so realistically i could get my peak fertility smiley face in the next couple of days but it's annoying because this is now different to last month and so it's different to what I was expecting! Oh well, just gotta keep going.

No I've never done the temp thing, I thought it would stress me out and not sure if I'd be able to take it at the same time every day after the correct amount of time. I might have to look into it un future.

It'll get there @Fifol don't be disheartened xxxx I'm 1DPO now so the TWW wait starts here. Well 12 days for me as I only have a 12 day luteal phase. I don't want to symptom spot and POAS this cycle I really want to just be calm and forgot about it.... xxx

When I start my tww in a few days (i hope!) I will be trying to follow my own advice
