March bus

Just thought I'd start a March bus for anyone just edging into the next month for testing/AF due!

I'll start with my stats:

Trying for baby #2 with a 2.5yo DD
Cycle 2 (although first full cycle after having the implant removed)
CD1 today
AF/BFP due sometime after 5th March depending on what my cycle wants to do this month!

@Juno231... My cycle did that... I ovulate around the same time as you 😊
How long have you been TTC for? X

Franklydear · 26/02/2020 09:57

Oh @lola, give a week or two, and remind me I am meant to be patient 😁

Juno231 · 26/02/2020 10:35

@Adrianoska this is only cycle 2 for me so not long at all. I'm 32 and this would be our first. My family have a history of early menopause though so I'm terrified I won't manage to get pregnant before it kicks in, nevermind having a second or third kid.

littletandme · 26/02/2020 11:15

When I mark CD14 as "no ovulation" it changes to this, which I think is more likely... any ideas @paintfairy my go to BBT expert? 😂

How long is your cycle usually? @littletandme
CD13 looks like ovulation day from that chart but its easy to get it wrong if your temps weren't accurate?

littletandme · 26/02/2020 11:57

@paintfairy I have no clue on my cycle length, when I was on the implant (until jan 16th) I had really long "cycles" which averaged about 39 days but some were 45+ 🤷🏻‍♀️ last "cycle" which was from my period starting on 4th Jan was 34 days. This is my first full month off the implant really.

Really hope this is our month as it is going to be hard to DTD and do OPKs in the run up to ov next month as we are on holiday with PILs right at the back end on my predicted FW Envy

@littletandme I find fertility friend to be the best app chart wise. Even though it looks old and not like the other apps.

(Tmi- sorry in advance).

So I’m 5dpo and have had LOADS of creamy white cm today. So bad that I thought a heavy af had actually started suddenly.

Has anyone else had this?

karenkeys · 26/02/2020 14:14

@Newbie0818 I’m about 6 DPO and haven’t had that but I have read that “school glue” type CM is common at this part of the cycle so I wouldn’t worry.

karenkeys · 26/02/2020 14:17

@Newbie0818

Post-ovulation (days 14–22): After ovulation, the body releases the hormone progesterone, which dries up cervical fluid. The discharge may look cloudy at first, then become thicker.

Pre-period (days 22–28): As a period approaches, the discharge may have a glue-like consistency again. There tends to be little or no discharge 1–2 days before menstruation. Some people notice spotting just before their period.

Amy5665 · 26/02/2020 14:18

Hi @Newbie0818 same here currently 6dpo and I have it since 3dpo.I also had it last cycle as well and I think is pretty normal for me.We are all different so not sure if this is normal for you tho...

Hatepickinganame · 26/02/2020 14:37

@Newbie0818 mine never dries up like its meant to, i have tons of it all the way through my cycle but the consistency varies from ov to AF, its currently a sticky/creamy type and im 5dpo.

Newbie0818 · 26/02/2020 14:54

Thanks guys!

Should I take this as a low possibility of a BFP? :/

Hatepickinganame · 26/02/2020 15:06

@Newbie0818 unfortunately yes, i dont think cm is a good indicator unless you know exactly what it does every single day and can tell if something is different, just to put it into perspective, i get ewcm more than once in a cycle, and ive noticed it can even change consistency throughout the day 🙄 i log it all on my app so im wondering if that will eventually show a pattern...

whatsthecraic91 · 26/02/2020 16:02

@Hatepickinganame I've only arrived 😂 aww are you waiting to next month now to avoid a Christmas baby? I wouldn't mind I think it will be lovely if it happens 😇

@littletandme if it was my original ov date then I would have been 7 days late! According to the new date AF was due this Friday so it's come 2 days early at 13DPO. So she was pretty much spot on, I'll not doubt her again 😂

@Lola871 thank you, a Christmas babe would be the best present ever 😊

whatsthecraic91 · 26/02/2020 16:04

@littletandme this is my chart last cycle if it helps you, it originally said I ovulated CD12 then it changed to CD20 on me, I was like WTF at the time but obviously she was right as AF is only here today!

March bus
Newbie0818 · 26/02/2020 16:27

@Hatepickinganame ok, that sucks. I’ve never had it so much like this before. I’m due sometime around next week so I guess I’ll see then.

Hatepickinganame · 26/02/2020 16:45

@whatsthecraic91 nah, we missed this month due to our little fallout and i dont think we're quite 100% yet so wont be actively trying til sure its just a blip 😏 we seem to be ok though... time will tell i guess. My eldest is a december baby, its expensive lol but the idea of another one that month scares me too haha

Hatepickinganame · 26/02/2020 16:46

@Newbie0818 if its different for you it could be a sign 🤞 just in my experience its not reliable lol mine changes way too much! But then i have pcos too so that could be a factor.

Newbie0818 · 26/02/2020 16:51

@hatepickinganame well either way I’m definitely going to wait it out. I’m just happy I got a positive opk earlier than last month! Where are you in the ttc waiting game?

Gembo25 · 26/02/2020 16:58

Sorry for jumpin on!! I'm jus AF next wk and today had really heavy Cm!! Bit unusual as I don't have it that bad normally! Keep getting a twinge in my pelvis area on my right hand side too!
Had miscarriage last January so waited a while before tryin again but not sure if this is goin b my month xx

Hatepickinganame · 26/02/2020 18:09

@Newbie0818 cycle 3 for me, now 5dpo (or as i prefer, 10 days til af is due 😂) havent been actively trying, just an if it happens, it happens kind of thing. But we've recently had a chat about it being too soon after all so gonna be avoiding ttc for a while, assuming im not the 1 in 25 that manages to get pregnant by complete accident this month lol how about you?

paintfairy · 26/02/2020 18:56

@whatsthecraic91 that makes your luteal phase short though?

whatsthecraic91 · 26/02/2020 19:31

@paintfairy yea my LP is 12 days
