Do evap lines ever get darker over time?

Hi all,

So this morning I took a clearblue ultra early test before work and I'm pretty sure I saw a faint line. I've come back from work and looked at the test and the line is darker blue and prominent. I know you shouldn't read tests after the time window but my question is if this morning what I saw was an evap line then would it have gotten darker in colour over time? Or did i actually see a positive this morning?

Here is a pic of it this evening, forgot to take one this morning as was in a rush for work!

Sorry to jump on this i took a clear blue early test tonight and saw a positive line that was very faint im 10 days late any advice as to if it’s positive or an evaporation line

Hi @kerrymorr29, it's very difficult to say as it's quite faint and almost grayish on the pic. Mine was a faint blue then gradually got really dark, then a digital picked up straight away. I would do a cheapie to be sure. Are you late for your period?

I need help .. confused .. I took the test waited about 3 minutes didn’t see anything so I assumed it was negative , came back later and seen the second line .. don’t know if it’s an evap line .. could it be a “false positive” cycle is due until 1 more day .. I took it because I was nauseous for 4days and actually threw up like 2 days before I decided to take it don’t want to do another test until after my expected cycle date .. what do y’all think ?

Hello, i took this test it was very faint & when i looked a few minutes later it was alot darker, I don’t suppose if anyone knows, is this an evap or a positive?

Hey everyone, I took this test yesterday morning and about 20 mins later this was the result. However I’ve taken another 3 more and they all been negative what does you think?

i did this test this evening and it’s a clear pink line but outside the time zone by 30 mins. Is it positive or evap?

Hi , I did a test it didn’t show straight away , I walk off and returned a while later with a dark line . I am not worried it’s an evaporate line . I did a test with a different brand 4 days before and had a faint line straight away hence the reason for this test. Helllppp don’t know what to think.

I have had these 2 tests, bottom one I checked an hour after and the top one shown 20 minutes after I’m not sure if this is an evap line but it’s blue? I took a digital which shown not pregnant
