@BntTowers nope still nothing. Going to give it another week and if still getting no where I may try the GP but don't really know if they can do anything either!

@Quiffy be kind to yourself x I think diets are all well and good etc but if your body is telling you it wants something, comfort or otherwise, bloody well have it! X

@BntTowers sorry I also meant to say I think a few tears now and then are totally justified, as long as it's done in a safe place that is!
I balled my eyes out for about an hour today. I'm very grateful I have DS but life just feels so unfair and shit sometimes. We have a new baby in the family too and she, too, is the perfect baby. DS was awful as a newborn (he did have medical problems) but that in itself I find drives me insane!!

I'm on one tonight.... can you tell? 😬😣

How are we? I have avoided opks decided that I cannot be bothered with them x I think my peak would have been yesterday, and my O day is today x DTD Friday and Saturday x probably will DTD today too x

My af is due on the 1st of Feb x

@Katie1109 nope still no AF yet, CD39 today. I'm not testing any more I don't think it's pregnancy related I think it's just me!
May need a visit to the GP again soon.

@Mumofboys17 @Quiffy perfectly normal to cry and let it all out. January is a hard month never mind when TTC! I spent the night with my mum and she spoke non stop about my sister's baby who is 12 weeks old and her first grandchild. It is all we spoke about for 3 hours straight. I get that she is obsessed and loves him so much but it was quite draining.

Today was my first flashing smiley day so we DTD this morning. Although IC was basically so light. I'm worried all these new vitamins will mess up my cycle.

@mumofboys17 @symptomspotter86 @Ellsbells112 thanks all x I think the January blues are really going around. Still mopey today but spent it vegging and ordered a Chinese to eat with some tv tonight. It will happen for us all sooner or later. You’re all being strong with closes babies around so defo deserve that bfp!

@Symptomspotter86 I would try not to worry too much about the vitamins - they are the only thing that made my cycle 'normal' again!

How has everyone's weekend been? I've been none stop!

Totally get how draining it is and deflating being around babies. My BIL got married last year and she was telling me that they were probably going to try for a baby straight away. I'm just dreading that announcement... I would be totally happy for them (it would be my first niece/nephew) but it will kill me inside. I can deal with babies just not pregnancy announcements. It will all happen for us all! I don't know about anyone else but it just makes me think about all the shitty things I've done in my life and poor choices and makes me think - am I being punished? I should count myself lucky, 5 cycle is NOT a long time to be trying!

@Beau2020x I hear that!! I actually think pregnancy announcements are almost worse, which is ridiculous I spose 😂
I have to say I do have a pang of jealousy here and there, but it's also lovely being an Auntie! We have 2 nephews and now a new niece too, and it's just the best. DS is my world but his cousins are also amazing too! You'll be a fab Auntie if and when it does happen regardless 😉😘

We've had a manic weekend too! We left the house at 10am this morning and got back about 5pm haha! Trying really hard to 'de-stress' and not think about AF for a while.. took DS to feed the ducks, did some food shopping, quick visit to the in laws, came home and I ran around and sorted the house while DH got DS ready for bed, we had a takeaway and all tonight 👌🏻

OMG I've just been to the loo and had some pinky tinged discharge.... holy crap.. AF MIGHT ACTUALLY BE ON HER WAY!!! 😱🥳🙌🏻

@Beau2020x ahhh it is hard for that. When my bil announced baby 2 was on the way I was absolutely gutted. He was born last September and I’m v happy for them (and my upset finally got DH ready for TTC). I’ve not met him yet as we live at opposite parts of the country but DH is meeting them halfway next month at the parents. I’m secretly pleased that the house there is only small so I can’t go as DH will be sleeping on floor. Announcements are very hard! I guess when we all make our bfp announcements someone we know will be feeling the same though.

Maybe we should all burn some nappies to the fertility gods 🤪

Do any of you ever read the most popular posts that pop up on the side of the page? I need to stop reading them - one post right now is a woman saying she won’t let her kids choose seats at a restaurant as she’s an adult and deserves to more. At events she even makes them wait for all adults to choose sears before they’re allowed to sit 😹 I’m not a mum so maybe I’ve no idea what I’m talking about, but surely she’s a crazy old bat? Hey fertility gods! I’ll let future kids sit where they like at the restaurant table!

@Quiffy omg yes 😂😂 and of course I have to be an opinionated bitch and put my two penance in on some of them. The was one the other day where some 25 year old who had been on many many holidays before but never took her daughter. Has a pair of hideous £1000 Gucci sandals and is gutted that her BF gave her 50 year old SIL his card to buy the same sandals. Wtf. She said it was the only thing she thought about when booking a holiday, her fabulous sandals and they were the only 'shoe' she was taking. 1st world problems eh!

Morning ladies x how are we all after weekend? I decided not to use opks in the end, but I think I ovulated yesterday judging by the pain around my left ovary x sooooo I will count yesterday as O day and today I’m 1DPO...and let the madness of TWW begin x is anyone else 1DPO today? x af due apparently around1st - 2nd of Feb so my luteal phase should be around 12 days 🤞🤞

Hey @Katie1109! The more laid back approach might have worked for you. Less stress which means more of a chance ❤️ I'm approx 4DPO today AF due 30th-31st.

Hardly got any EWCM or ovulation cramps this month. When I do get cramps, they are always awful and on my right side. I swear the right one is the only ovary that functions!! I'm not hopefully for this month anyway, hardly DTD at all

@Beau2020x I hope so 🤞 don’t get yourself down already x all it takes is one little swimmer x We DTD in quite a lot in this FW, which may also go against us because I’m not sure if too often means that sperm isn’t as strong - and I must admit yesterday DTD was hard work, I’m a bit sore 😂

Came in full flow this morning, I'm so happy!!! 😁😂😂😂
End of this AF coincides nicely with payday, so shall be stocking up with OPK's galore, I got some evening primrose oil tablets from Tesco this morning so going to give those a go alongside folic acid only and pre seed EVERY time we DTD 😂

I'm so totally out of sync with you all now haha but never mind!! Bring on the BFP's!! X

People (as in family) have offered to have DS for us before when we've booked holidays, DH was horrified! He said there's no way we'd be going away without him! Made me love him a tiny bit more for the protective dad mode 😍😂

@Ellsbells112 I must admit, I enjoyed DTD much more without added pressure of "we must do it now, I'm in peak". We DTD 4 times over the weekend, and it just felt like normal sex, not lets make a baby sex!
